Welcome to Episode 111 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Ryan Hodge is a very successful entrepreneur, speaker, coach and consultant. He truly does it all, and shared a lot of great value in today's episode.

His no-quit story that he shares is one of many, and happened in his early twenties. His girlfriend, who he thought he was going to marry at the time was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and unfortunately passed away. Ryan was devastated, as anyone would be, and turned to drugs to help cope.

Of course, this wasn't anything but a bandaid to the problem and ultimately would create more problems, but today he is completely clean.

Ryan defines success as a toxic replacement for fulfillment - In other words, society defines success in a certain way and tells us that we need it in order to feel fulfilled, but the two are definitely not synonymous.

Welcome to Episode 110 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Dominick Domasky, like us at No Quit Living, is a huge believer and advocate of inspiration. He knows the power of motivation and truly puts forth effort into changing peoples lives for the better.

He arrived at writing books and motivational speaking with a unique background. Dominick doesn't claim to have climbed Mt. Everest or be an Olympic Gold Medalist; He is proud to say, he's just a guy trying to find success. He learned the value of hard work as a young boy pulling weeds and picking up cigarette butts while working for his father's landscape company.

Even though Dominick has been punched, jobless, broke, cut from the team, and out of business, with the help of those early lessons and a belief in himself, he refuses to ever give up.

    NQL 109 - Zach Suchin Apr 05, 2018

Welcome to Episode 109 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Zach is an entrepreneur and investor based out of Los Angeles & New York.

Born and raised in Los Angeles to a family deeply immersed in the entertainment industry, he absorbed pop-culture and took great interest in the media and technology sectors. Throughout high school, he worked for executive management at Sony, 20th Century Fox, ICM and The Firm. He earned bachelor degrees in both Political Science and Film at Emory University, while marketing high-profile weekly events for college students, featuring recording artists such as Akon, Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris, Outkast and Jeezy.

In 2006, Zach moved back to Los Angeles with an increased knowledge of digital marketing and developed College Tonight with Jason Schutzbank, which in its first 12 months of operation, won the Mashable award for Best Event-Based Social Network and was published in Generation MySpace as one of the top 15 social networking sites on the Internet. What started as a conduit between local businesses and college students, became a more robust collegiate platform. The Quad consisted of a retail outfit, collaborative tools and Greek community features. Suchin led the company through a substantial venture round, eventually taking the small-cap company public in late 2007. This made Suchin the youngest CEO of a publicly-traded company in the United States. With Zach at the helm, the company grew past a market capitalization of over $100 million. He and Jason sold their share of the company in early 2009.

The duo then co-founded Brand Knew to help both start-ups and veteran brands better navigate the digital landscape. Suchin is credited with having invented the developmental venture equity model now popularized by boutique digital agencies, guest lectures in new media at UCLA and Boston University, and has been a technology contributor on BloombergTV. Zach sits on the board of directors for several portfolio companies and the steering committees for various non-profit organizations, serving as the Digital Chair for YaLa Academy. He remains intimately involved in the creative direction of Brand Knew's clients and chairs both the Brand Knew Opportunities conferences and the Causathon event series.

    NQL 108 - Bryan Falchuk Apr 03, 2018

Welcome to Episode 108 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

In today's episode, Bryan Falchuk puts it all on the table. He shares his vulnerability and how sometimes you need to hit an all time low to reach an all time high.

His no-quit story starts with the crippling anxiety he had as a child that followed him into adulthood. He would find solace in food and his actions left him very overweight for most of his life. He would eventually marry a woman and have a son with her, and a disease almost took his wife from Bryan and his son.

Bryan remembers vividly seeing his two year old son watching his mother dying, and right then and there he knew he had to make positive changes in his life.

He has since become a best selling author, an Inc magazine contributor, lost the weight, and after a lot of struggle and dietary changes, his wife is alive and well.

Bryan drops tons of value bombs in today's episode, but one that really stood out to us at NQL was that often times when given a compliment, people will say "thank you, BUT...." Bryan reminds us that the true pronunciation is just "thank you."

Welcome to Episode 107 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Our host, Christopher J. Wirth and Josh Pastner have known each other for over ten years now. We are super excited to finally have gotten him on the show. Josh is the head coach of Georgia Tech's basketball team, the Yellow Jackets and at a point in time, he and Christopher were both basketball coaches.

Josh shares some amazing secrets to how to live a successful life in today's episode. He's got an incredibly positive spirit and an attitude of gratitude. He understands the often overlooked fact that everybody goes through hard times, no matter what their financial situation is, sexual orientation, background, ethnicity etc. But at the end of the day, if you wake up above ground, it's a good day.

He shares a sad, but very real story of how a friend of his would often scold his son any time he broke a rule. One day, his son came back home significantly past curfew and he was prepared to scold him, but for some reason, didn't. Something told him not to, and instead of getting angry, they had a two and a half hour long conversation that ended very civilly and with them both saying "I love you." Tragically, the next day, his son died in a motorcycle accident and if he had scolded his son as he had planned, he wouldn't have been able to live with himself. The story isn't meant to be depressing, but hopefully put things into perspective.

Welcome to Episode 105 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Jeffrey Shaw has been through many different avenues when it comes to business. From his many failures and moments of adversity, he has learned a lot and become successful in the process.

Life wasn't always like this for Jeffrey; however. In the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey, he developed a fear of banks because there were numerous times that he would try to withdraw money from his business account to make it through the week, but the money wasn't there.

It wasn't until one day when he realized he had built a business with a luxury product in a market that could barely afford rent, that he realized the change he had to make and scaled upward from there. It was from that realization that he came up with the LINGO concept - Speaking the same "language" as your ideal customer so that every one of them is ideal and best served by your product.

Jeffrey gave us an amazing quote by Jim Rohn which says, "Your level of success rarely exceeds your personal development."

Welcome to Episode 104 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

Elizabeth McCourt's positive spirit is impossible to miss in today's episode. She's quite a remarkable woman and we are honored to have had her on our show today. One of my favorite quotes in the history of our podcast is in this episode, which comes from Hawaii, and it says "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."

Simple words, with such a powerful message.

That being Elizabeth's favorite quote, it only makes sense that the theme of today's episode is positivity. Elizabeth is a successful author, speaker, coach and so much more. She recently got her first novel published, and we couldn't be more excited for her.

It's funny because she originally went to present another one of her books to the publishing company, but after casually mentioning that she had written a novel, the company asked to take a look and loved it.

She's all about taking non linear paths to success, and so are we.

Welcome to Episode 103 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

It's pretty much a given at this point that everybody at some point in life goes through a moment where they either have the option of quitting and giving up, or persevering and conquering a task at hand.

However, most people are lucky enough that their no-quit moment doesn't involve dying and coming back to life. T.C. Bradley was unfortunately not that lucky, but that's exactly what he did.

He suffered a cardiac arrest and died for about a minute and a half. The paramedics shocked him twice in order to revive him, and the shocks affected him even while he was alive after the fact. Most people don't survive past a couple weeks after getting revived, but T.C. has managed to last much longer than that, become a best selling author, a successful entrepreneur, and tell the tale.

He talks about the importance of jumping head first into the deep end to grow and find success, and the best coaches will do exactly that with their clients.

Welcome to Episode 102 of the No Quit Living Podcast.

NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated.

We are thrilled to have Nissar Ahamed on today's podcast. Our host, Christopher J. Wirth was on Nissar's show not too long ago, so it feels great to return the favor to him.

Nissar is the founder of Career Metis, which is the platform he created to help empower freelancers and entrepreneurs and take their careers to the next level. After having to move back into his parents house in his thirties, he hit the ground running and built this publication. It started with him being the only writer, and gradually people started to take notice and request to become contributors themselves. Nissar and his friends credit his success to his consistent persistence.

He also talks about the importance of working hard and dedication to what you do, whether you're an entrepreneur or not. He defines success as something that is consistently changing and not a "finish line" so-to-speak.
