    Most Influential Person
    • My coach, Tommy Yankello.
    Effect on Emotions
    • Things upset me, but I recognize that and I do something about it. I have a lot of strategies to keep myself from ever reaching a point of where the anger is even remotely out of control.
    • If I get too angry, my body's not used to the chemical changes that go on when you get angry. I hurt for about a day. My head hurts, I'm on edge, and I feel pain.
    Thoughts on Breathing
    • When you pay attention to your breathing, your body's going to force you to do it. You can't choke yourself out, right, or hold your breath into oblivion. Calmly use it to put your mind on something.
    • You always have your breath and your heart beat, which is kinda related, and that's another automatic system you can put your mind on.

    Bullying Story
    • Abuse and picking on the little guy bothers me so much. The only time I ever got in trouble in the military, I watched an officer use his rank to kinda get in front of some people. That bugged me to no end. It took a lot of energy.
    • I knew that was a battle that would end badly and would probably cost me.
    • I hate when people are picked on who are not strong enough to defend themselves. It think it comes from being a competitor.

    Bullying Story
    • In high school there was a kid who bullied me verbally and physically and one day I had enough and I grabbed him in the hallway and I pushed him against the wall and I said, “if you ever come near me again I'll beat you up.” He never touched me again.
    • I think the worst bully in the world is yourself. I think about my thoughts and how I talk to myself. It's a daily struggle for me.

    Effect on Emotions
    • Mindfulness balances my emotions out. I'm a very passionate person. Through mindfulness I became more optimistic and coming out of quite a depressed youth, mindfulness made me more optimistic.
    Thoughts on Breathing
    • I meditate every day and I teach people meditation so the first part of meditation is always breathing and especially from a Feng Shui perspective, breathing is connecting with the mountain energy.
    • When we breath in we are focusing on the Prana or the Mountain Chi, so to focus on the highest vibration of air that is in the room and then when you breathe out, you let go of the most negative chi.

    Bullying Story
    • I was quite bullied at school. They beat me up and I was put aside. Nobody could talk to me, it was very intense.
    • I was already quite involved in my thinking and I loved mathematics and religion. I was not like the typical popular girl.
    • The first thing I really got was that I had to stay mindful about these young women.
    • It was a breakthrough for me, that when they wanted a tool to show something, I was the only one that had that tool. I would share it even if the girl had bullied me the week before.

8 Secrets to Intentionally Change Your Fortune
    • Gay: “All of them are life-changing in one way or the other, but the one that jumps up to the fore for me personally whenever I think about conscious luck is the simplicity of how you can go from changing your luck simply by changing your Mindset.”
What Carol think when Gay presented the idea of “Conscious Luck”
    • Carol: “The two words Conscious and Luck really struck me because my experience of luck is that it wasn't conscious at all. When he introduced this concept to my awareness, my head kind of exploded.”
Thoughts on VLP (Very Lucky Person)
    • Carol: “Being a VLP is absolutely a process of commitment. Any consciousness change starts with a willingness to change and then a commitment to change. You decide you're going to be something different. You commit and then recommit to doing the work to be intentionally changing your fortune.
