Waiting for Guffmandy May 30, 2022

Show notes

Let’s get this out of the way: Waiting for Guffman is not a risky pick for Mandy. It’s a classic in the Christopher Guest-and-crew improvisational film oeuvre. The only contentious part of the show? When should Mandy sing?

But who cares about all that crap. We're here to talk about Nick Cage playing Nick Cage in a movie about a guy who loves Nick Cage a lot. A Very Punchable Mandy May 09, 2022

Show notes

If you're listening to this show, you're probably a human that would get some enjoyment out of Colin Jost's book, A Very Punchable Face. But if you're a fan of his punchable face on Saturday Night Live, you should make sure you get the audiobook version so you can hear him read it. Then your hands are free to punch images of him as you listen. It's a real multimedia experience.

So, cat's out of the bag, the Mandy's actually agree on this. It's a funny book. So you're not here for the fights this week. What you are here for may or may not include a digression on vegan cooking and the scatological perils of being an adult. You have been warned.
