Crystals for Gemini in Your Chart: In addition to working with crystals during Gemini season, you may also want to work with the following stones if you have Gemini energy in your birth chart. Each of us has many astrological influences that affect our energy and the way we interact with the world around us. The energies that have the biggest influence on you are your Sun Sign, Moon Sign, and Rising Sign. These are sometimes called “Your Big 3.” These can be determined by calculating of your natal chart using the full date, time, and place of your birth. The Big Three Your Sun Sign is the astrological sign that the Sun was in during the time of your birth (also known as your Zodiac sign). The Sun is the center of all life and represents your personality and spirit. Your Moon Sign is determined by the sign that the Moon was in during the time of your birth and influences your Soul expression. Your Moon Sign represents your emotions, moods, and your innermost-self. Your Rising Sign, also known as your Ascendant, is the planetary influence that was on the Eastern horizon when you were born. Your Rising Sign is the starting point of the first house in your birth chart and has a good deal of influence on the characteristics of your personality (sometimes even outweighing those of your Sun Sign because your Rising Sign is the part of yourself that you share with others). If Gemini is part of your Big 3, you can use the stones suggested below to enhance or balance its energy. Sunstone can always be used in place of a Sun Sign Stone (or you can use any of the Gemini crystals listed at the beginning of this article), and Moonstone can be substituted in place of a Moon Sign Stone. Stone for Gemini as Your Sun Sign: Chrysocolla or Citrine Stone for Gemini as Your Moon Sign: Clear Apophyllite or Blue Sapphire Stone for Gemini as Your Rising Sign: Red Jasper or Green Fluorite Working with Crystals for Your Big 3: To work with your 3 Astrological Crystals (Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs), you can craft a crystal energy pouch with corresponding crystals and symbols. Starting with your Sun Sign, write out the name of your sign and draw its symbol on a small scrap of paper (you may even want to draw the symbol of its ruling planet for a boost of energy). These symbols will charge up your crystal with the energy of your Sun sign. Place this paper along with your Sun Sign Stone into the pouch. As you place the stone and paper into the bag, think about what energy your Sun Sign represents and brings into your life. Next, write out the name of your Moon sign and draw its symbol on another small piece of paper. Place this paper along with your Moon Sign Stone into the pouch. As you place the stone and paper into the bag, think about what energy your Moon Sign represents and brings into your life. Finally, write out the name of your Rising sign and draw its symbol on the last small piece of paper. Place this paper along with your Rising Sign Stone into the pouch. As you place the stone and paper into the bag, think about what energy your Rising Sign represents and brings into your life. After adding all the stones to the pouch, focus your intention on strengthening your positive traits and balancing the negative aspects of your unique astrological blueprint. It supports those who are healing a broken heart or who are working through their grief, but it can also be useful for those who grieving lost parts of themselves. If you have been neglecting yourself, or if you frequently address the needs of others at the expense of yourself, Obsidianite can help you reclaim your self-care practice. Pink Opal: This common Opal (meaning it's a potch Opal that lacks any sparkle or fire) is useful for instilling compassion and empathy. If you don’t feel deserving of love or struggle with prioritizing self-care, reach for a Pink Opal. This stone helps take action rooted in compassion (for others and yourself). Rose Quartz: Rose Quartz is connected to Taurus' ruling planet, Venus, and it exudes love. This stone helps remind you to nurture yourself. Taurus season is a great time to get in the habit of adding a few extra minutes to your morning routine for something to nurture yourself. So, even when you feel rushed or like other things feel more important, make an effort to make yourself a cup of herbal tea, spend some creative time painting or writing, or make some time for a stroll outside or to do some gardening to nourish your spirit. Best Crystals for Taurus’ Ruling Planet (Venus): Each sign of the Zodiac is represented, or ruled, by a planet. This Ruling Planet is the planet that is held to have a particular influence over its corresponding sign of the zodiac, house, aspect of life, etc. Venus is the ruling planet of Taurus and is associated with arrogance, the arts and creativity, beauty (both inner and outer), emotions and feelings, etiquette, harmony, kindness, love, lust, positivity, romance, selfishness, and sexuality. Place a few tumbled Rose Quartz stones in the water. Charge the water with crystal energy from the stones through visualization. Use the crystal-charged water to bathe yourself and enhance self-love. Ritual Supplies: A bathtub or shower Candle or incense (optional) 1-7 Rose Quartz tumbled stones If you find yourself struggling with self-love this Taurus season, take some time to try this simple crystal ritual. At any time during Taurus season, draw yourself a hot bath and be sure you won’t be disturbed. Add a few tumbled Rose Quartz stones to the bathwater as well as two or three tablespoons of dried Chamomile flowers (as long as you're not allergic). You may also wish to light some candles or incense in your favorite fragrance to add some ambiance to the space (be sure to use a fireproof container and keep this where you can monitor it - never leave an open flame unattended). Next, gently ease yourself into the bath. Sitting comfortably, hold your hands just above the bath water with your palms facing downward. Then, visualize a pink light moving from your heart, down your arms, out through the palms of your hands, and into the water. Visualize the water glowing pink, filling the water with the energy of love, and see the Rose Quartz stones filled with pink light. See the stones glowing very brightly, charging the water with love and healing. Open your eyes, and gently bathe your body in the energy-infused water. Feel the energy of love pouring over your body like gentle waves as the water touches your skin. Remain in this healing bath as long as you’d like. You can repeat this exercise as often as is needed throughout Taurus season. You can also adapt this exercise for the shower rather than a bathtub by holding a small, tumbled Rose Quartz stone in your hand and gently rubbing it over your body while showering. Divination with Crystals | Working with Crystal Balls, Obsidian Mirrors, & Crystal Bowls for Intuitive Scrying Apr 04, 2024
    Show notes

Divination is the art of seeking knowledge and wisdom through one’s inner knowing or intuition through the use of divination tools like tarot or oracle cards, pendulums, etc. Scrying is a specific divinatory practice that can be practiced with a number of mediums from fire to crystal balls, to clouds, to water, and more — join me to explore the different ways you can practive divination with crystals... Working with crystal scrying tools, objects made from crystal that commonly feature a reflective surface like a Clear Quartz sphere or a Black Obsidian mirror, is a great way to experience the art of gazing into a crystal to receive guidance & wisdom. Scrying divination is a great way to hone your intuition. Developing your intuition helps you fill in the gaps where you don’t have all the information or data necessary to make the best possible decision. That doesn’t mean you should just follow your intuition without a second thought, but learning to trust your inner guidance, and combining that insight WITH reason and logic is far more practical than following logic alone. Performing the art of scrying divination with crystals takes patience and practice. You might need to form a relationship with your crystal tools before you start to see any meaningful symbols or images. Here are a few of my favorite crystal scrying tools and techniques to help you get started with your scrying divination practice. Crystallomancy - Scrying Divination with Crystal Balls: Crystallomancy, is the art of gazing into a crystal ball to receive guidance and wisdom in the form of images revealed within the sphere. The energy of a sphere represents wholeness and infinite possibility and spheres emit energy in all directions. John Dee's Divination Tools & Obsidian Scrying Mirror at the British Museum Humans have been practicing the art of crystallomancy also known as crystal ball reading, for hundreds – if not thousands of years. One of the most famous crystallomancers was John Dee, advisor to Queen Elizabeth I. Dee practiced his art in the 16th century, but people still know him today for his wise counsel. He relied upon his crystal scrying tools for their ability to reveal hidden truths and offer profound guidance. The British Museum displays Dee's crystal ball and other divination tools, such as his Obsidian scrying mirror. Tips for Selecting Your Crystal Ball: When choosing a crystal ball to work with for scrying, it's important to select one that will allow you to see into the depths of the crystal. Quartz-based minerals (like Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, etc.) typically work best for this and are also great amplifiers of energy, but there are many suitable transparent stones available (like some Calcites, Fluorite, etc.). These transparent to translucent stones let you gaze into the crystal to explore the sphere’s inner landscape for symbols and images in the stone’s fissures, fractures, and inclusions. Opaque stones (like Jaspers), however, typically aren't recommended for scrying as they limit your gaze to the very surface of the stone. One common exception is Black Obsidian, which has such a glassy surface, it allows you to scry using the exterior surface of the stone, rather than the interior of the crystal…(Obsidian will be covered in more detail in the next section as we dive deeper into exploring divination with crystals.) For example, there would be quite a big difference in attempting to scry with an opaque stone like Unakite compared one that is transparent like Ametrine. Ametrine’s transparence really lets you view into the crystal, see into the depths of the crystal, whereas the Unakite would really only allow you to view the surface of the stone which would make scrying much more difficult, particularly for a beginner. Be Aware of What You're Purchasing When Looking for a Crystal Ball: It’s also important to note here that there are many commercially available “crystal balls” that are actually just glass. Sometimes, sellers market these under the name "Reconstituted Quartz." These “crystal” balls are flawlessly clear. Although they may most evoke what one would expect a crystal ball to look like, informed by appearances in popular culture, these flawless spheres are not recommended for scrying. First, producers do not make these glass spheres from natural crystal, so they will not possess the same energy as a natural crystal. Second, flawless spheres are actually much harder to use for scrying. These flawless spheres (whether natural or not) lack the internal imperfections that create a backdrop for our intuition and subconscious to project the symbols and images on. So having a natural crystal ball with some character is much preferred for scrying. Affordable Alternatives to Crystal Balls: Crystal balls are one of the most common tools for scrying, but you don’t need to worry if you don’t have one. A small tumbled stone, or just about any other transparent or translucent crystal you feel drawn to (like a polished dome shape, the back of the head on a crystal skull, etc.), can still work for crystal gazing. Just be sure to follow similar guidelines for choosing your stone, such as selecting one that is transparent and that you can easily gaze into. Seer Stones are also natural substitutes for crystal ball scrying. People also refer to Seer Stones as River Bed Quartz, Dragon Eggs, or Emu Eggs. These stones go through a fairly intense process to take shape. First, rough pieces of stone are lightly tumbled to remove any edges and form a rounded shape. Once the stones are smooth, they are sand-blasted to give the outside a foggy appearance. These pieces are then sliced in half and polished so that the cut surface has a smooth, shiny surface. The result is a window-like face that can be gazed into. The rough, outer-surface provides a backdrop to the “window.” How to Perform a Crystal Ball Reading (Step-by-Step) Scrying Divination with Obsidian Mirrors: Obsidian mirrors, made by polishing thin slices of Obsidian into mirror-like discs, serve as potent tools for scrying. With their glassy, reflective surfaces, Obsidian mirrors provide a gateway to the realm of the subconscious. These mirrors give you the ability to look at yourself, so you are better able to reflect on your life paths, your behaviors, and your identity. Obsidian mirrors have been esteemed for their connection to the underworld and the spiritual realm. In the last few years, the popularity of Obsidian mirrors has surged again, but they have long served as tools for scrying divination. Practitioners like John Dee, the famous crystallomancer, worked with one of these mirrors in his scrying practice to communicate with otherworldly entities and gain profound insights. By gazing into obsidian mirrors, you can receive messages from your intuition, your guides, and your ancestors as part of your crystal scrying practice. Affordable Alternatives to Obsidian Mirrors: Many modern diviners use black mirrors as a tool in their scrying practice. These are regular glass mirrors that have a black coating behind the glass, as opposed to a metallic silver coating. People use them in the same way as Obsidian mirrors. Obviously, practitioners generally prefer Obsidian mirrors for crystal healing and divination, but black glass mirrors offer a more affordable option that may be accessible to more people financially. If you’d like to stick with natural stones, rather than glass mirrors for your work in divination with crystals, a Black Obsidian tumbled stone or small palm stone will also work well as a scrying tool, and these are typically much more affordable than the round disc-shaped mirrors. Read more about the Healing Properties of Black Obsidian here! Scrying Divination with Crystal Bowls: Artisans carve some stones into bowl shapes, making them suitable for scrying when filled with a little water. A dark colored, relatively flat basin works best for this. Think of the energetic properties your crystal bowl carries with it based on the stone it’s made from and how this may influence your scrying work. Opting for a stone bowl carved from a crystal that boosts your intuition, enhances divination practices, or facilitates mental clarity can be particularly helpful. Affordable Alternatives to Crystal Bowls: Finely crafted crystal bowls can often carry a large price tag, especially those of exceptional quality. I’ve found Black Steatite (Soapstone) to be more affordable and readily available than other carved stone bowls for my divination with crystals. If this is still not accessible for you, you may also perform a type of water scrying by using a crystal infused water inside of any bowl of your choice. Just add a few drops of a prepared gem water or crystal elixir to your bowl of water to add a bit more magic to the practice! Instead of ingesting the elixir or gem water, you’ll use it in your scrying bowl to create an energy-infused scrying water! This allows you to transform any bowl or vessel into a crystal scrying tool! How to Scry with Water in a Crystal Bowl or Basin How to Scry with Your Crystal Divination Tools: Dim the lights and place a small source of light, like a candle or nightlight, off to one side where it will not interrupt your field of vision. Gaze at the crystal and allow your eyes to go in and out of focus. Allow your mind to absorb any images or symbols that appear within the crystal ball. When you feel you have received the information you needed, extinguish your candle. Try to interpret the meanings of the images and symbols presented to you. Then take a moment to write in your crystal journal about the images or symbols that appeared within your crystal ball and your interpretation of their meaning. Divination with Crystals - Reflection Questions for Journaling: What kind of crystal did you use to practice scrying?

Ritual Supplies: A fire-proof container. A small piece of paper A pen or pencil Matches or a lighter A Ruby crystal (you can substitute any of the Aries season stones listed above or any stone that corresponds to the Fire Element (you can find a list of Fire Element stones here). If you find yourself struggling with recognizing your self-worth this Aries season, take a few minutes to consider any negative thoughts you have about yourself that you want to change. Write these thoughts out on a small piece of paper. These may be about your personality, your body, or something else; nothing is off limits, but please only take on this exercise if you feel like you're in a healthy mental space to acknowledge these things without adding to the issue. It may feel painful to see these things on paper, but this can help you recognize just how damaging it is to carry these thoughts with you. Next, place a candle in a large fireproof container, light it, and then very carefully burn the paper containing your negative self-thoughts (it's best to do this outside for safety reasons and have some way to extinguish the flame handy). As the paper burns, intend to release these from your mind and energy body. Now, hold a Ruby crystal (or one of the other crystals associated with Aries season) in your hands (or over your heart) and think of one affirmation to replace each negative thought that was released. Carry the Ruby with you as a reminder of the positive self-image you are cultivating. Repeat this exercise as needed throughout Aries season. If Aries is part of your Big 3, you can use the stones suggested below to enhance or balance its energy. Sunstone can always be used in place of a Sun Sign Stone (or you can use any of the Pisces crystals listed at the beginning of this article), and Moonstone can be substituted in place of a Moon Sign Stone. Stone for Aries as Your Sun Sign: Ruby or Red Jasper Stone for Aries as Your Moon Sign: Bloodstone or Imperial Topaz Stone for Aries as Your Rising Sign: Ethiopian Opal or Blue Calcite Working with Crystals for Your Big 3: To work with your 3 Astrological Crystals (Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs), you can craft a crystal energy pouch with corresponding crystals and symbols. Explore the exciting energies of Aries season with these crystals, bringing passion, strength,

Ostara & the Wheel of the Year Mar 13, 2024
    Show notes

One way that I like to connect with the seasons and cycles of the earth is by tuning into The Wheel of the Year. This is a relatively new practice for me, but I'm finding the journey into exploring this way of being in flow with the seasons to be an enjoyable one! Read on to discover how you can connect more deeply with the earth's natural cycles in your spiritual practice as you celebrate Ostara... The Wheel of the Year can help you tune into natural cycles (similar to the Lunar Phases - but on an annual scale rather than just monthly) and helps you internalize these outward changes in nature as reflections of the growth and evolution you experience in your own life. Living in harmony with the seasons and the ebb and flow of nature helps you to lead a more soulful life and to cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself on a soul level. The Wheel of the Year helps you recognize who you are and your role in the world around you. So what is the Wheel of the Year? Separated into 8 main holidays, the Wheel of the Year is a representation of seasonal cycles that focuses on the 4 Solar Holidays of the year (also known as the quarter days). This stems from the Anglo-Saxon cultural observations of the solstices and equinoxes, with the addition of the 4 Gaelic, agrarian, seasonal celebrations (the mid-points between the solar holidays known as the lunar cross-quarter days or fire festivals). Although some of the holidays observed in the Wheel of the Year are quite old, The Wheel of the Year as a whole is fairly modern (being developed in the late 1950s). Though I don't personally follow the tradition that created the contemporary Wheel of the Year, I do find it a helpful way to think about the passage of time and what's happening in the world at each time of year. I tend to identify more with the Gaelic Cross-Quarter Days, as they stem from my ancestral heritage, than I do with the Anglo-Saxon solstices and equinoxes, but I do find value in these quarter days because they more closely align with the seasons as I observe them where I live in Madison, Wisconsin. For example, though my ancestors in Ireland and Scotland celebrated Imbolc as the beginning of Spring, I don't quite feel things awakening until the time of Ostara, the Spring Equinox, here in the United States. For this reason, these seasonal markers are important for helping me feel connected to what's happening in nature all year long, while the cross-quarter days hold more spiritual significance for me in other ways. An Introduction to Ostara: Ostara, or the Spring Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere, is the first of the quarter days, which marks the second of the spring holidays (the mid-point between Imbolc and Beltane). Ostara is traditionally celebrated on the day of the Vernal Equinox, determined by when the Sun is directly over the earth's equator (this date may range from March 19th through March 22nd each year depending on the Sun's position). Modern Ostara celebrations stem from the contemporary Wheel of the Year, where Ostara is associated with the Spring Equinox and is celebrated as a time of new beginnings and the re-emergence of life after the depth of winter. Set up your Ostara Altar with me! Crystals for Ostara: Green Aventurine Pink Opal Moonstone Bloodstone Lepidolite Citrine Morganite Heliodor Rhodonite Aquamarine Rose Quartz Golden Quartz Amethyst Eclipse Jasper Yellow Jasper Ostara Signifies the Time for: Abundance Renewal Fertility Growth Balance Joy New beginnings & change Taking action Blessings Light Celebrating the return of all things green The coming of Spring Rebirth Why celebrate Ostara? Ostara welcomes in the Spring, the return of longer days, and the renewal of the land. At this time, plants and animals are beginning to wake up from their winter slumber, and nature seems to come alive as the earth begins to warm. As the land thaws from its winter freeze, seeds can be sown, new crops can be planted, birds and bees return to the sky, and livestock born at Imbolc are growing and being reared by their mothers. Ostara is celebrated at the Vernal Equinox, when light and darkness are equal, which means that from this day forward, the days will continue to lengthen until the time of the Summer Solstice. For this reason, Ostara is a celebration of the Sun, the dawn, and of the return of radiant light. Ways to Celebrate Ostara: Feasts are a common way to celebrate Ostara Dye or paint eggs and use them for an egg hunt or an egg-rolling race (you can use hard-boiled or wooden eggs) Create a bouquet of Spring flowers and place it on your altar or in your home (gather them only from places where you have permission, take only what you need and leave much more than you take) Bake fresh bread or hot cross buns Prepare a salad with early spring greens (grown yourself or carefully foraged) Go on a walk or hike in nature and take some photos that capture the return of spring (you can even print these and put them on your altar or create some Ostara-themed Grimoire pages) Be intentional with your shadow work during this time of balanced light and darkness Create a nature altar for spring (add your items dedicated to nature, or collect natural items to add - only collect with permission - please be respectful) Plan your garden or start vegetable seeds Spring cleaning & home blessing Enjoy the delicious treat of some honey or honeycomb Ostara and the Goddess Eostra: Eostra is a Germanic Goddess (also known as Eostre, Eastre, or Ostara) for whom Ostara is named. The only recorded account of this Goddess comes from the Venerable Bede's "The Reckoning of Time." Bede claimed that Anglo-Saxon Pagans held feasts in Eostra's honor during Ostarmanoth (the equivalent of the month of April). Though the authenticity of Bede's account is hotly contested, some historical linguists connected the Goddess Eostra to the Proto-Indo-European goddess of the dawn, Hewsos/Hausos/Heusos. Historical connections between the goddess Eostra and Germanic Easter customs and connections with hares and eggs are also debated among scholars, though they are widely celebrated by modern Pagans. Best Crystals for Pisces Season Mar 05, 2024

Pisces season is here! This astrological season offers you the opportunity to embrace more creativity and compassion with the help of your crystals. As we dive into Pisces season (February 20 - March 20), the focus shifts to turning inward and focusing on your spirituality. Creating space for inner reflection and soul searching will be incredibly rewarding for you during this time. After Aquarius season, where communication was key, you'll now find that Pisces' connection with the water element will heighten both your emotions and your intuition. This can be productive for air, water, and earth signs, or for those who are very in tune with their intuition, but fire signs may find this period challenging as it often brings the shadow side to the surface. Working with the following Pisces-aligned stones aligns you with the current celestial energies and is an excellent way to enhance the positive aspects of this astrological phase while balancing its challenges. Pisces Season Correspondences: Dates: February 20 - March 20 Symbol: Two Fish Swimming in Opposite Directions, connected by a cord or rope Ruling Planet: Neptune Modality: Mutable (Open to Change - related to adaptation, intuition, and acceptance) Element: Water (Click Here to learn more about working with Elemental Crystals) The Body: Feet (Ankles, Heels, and Toes) Keywords: Change, Influence Pisces Season Gifts: Creativity, Compassion, Generosity, Kindness, Romance, Wellness Pisces Season Challenges: Emotional Volatility, Insecurity, Reactivity Best Crystals for Pisces Season: During Pisces season, select crystals that amplify connection, empathy, and creation. It’s important to note that Zodiac crystals are a little different than birthstones (more on that here). You can work with the following crystals to enhance or balance the energies of Pisces season. Whether enhancing positivity or addressing challenges by balancing out the more difficult energetic aspects of Pisces, these stones are the best companions for the celestial journey ahead. Afghanite Blue Lace Agate Amazonite Amethyst Aquamarine Blue Aventurine Bloodstone Caribbean Blue Calcite White Calcite Chrysocolla Indigo Gabbro Garnierite Blue Kyanite Larimar Rainbow Moonstone White Moonstone Black Obsidian Boulder Opal Black Pearl White Pearl Aqua Aura Quartz Selenite Blue Tourmaline (also known as Indicolite) Top 3 Crystals for Pisces Season: Amazonite: This stone carries the energy of the water element and helps you tap into your emotions as a source of strength. Amazonite assists with releasing stagnant emotional energy that’s blocking you from reaching new levels of spiritual connection. Work with this crystal to let go of things that no longer serve you. This crystal helps you remain patient, compassionate, and full of self-love if you encounter any shadow side issues during Pisces Season. Aqua Aura Quartz: This stone is an intense emotional balancer (in a good way!). If you let the previous Aquarius season vibes take you on an emotional rollercoaster, this crystal helps you regain control of the situation and mellow things out during Pisces Season. It’s not about dulling your feelings though; instead, it’s about choosing to feel in a way that lifts you up or that supports you. Larimar: This gem, known as the Dolphin Stone, helps you ride the energetic (and often emotionally-challenging) waves of the Pisces Moon with poise. It enhances your intuition, so reach for this stone if you need some guidance from the Universe. Best Crystals for Pisces’ Ruling Planet (Neptune): Each sign of the Zodiac is represented, or ruled, by a planet. This Ruling Planet is the planet that is held to have a particular influence over its corresponding sign of the zodiac, house, aspect of life, etc. Neptune is the ruling planet of Pisces. Neptune is associated with mystical experiences and the unknown, creativity, hidden talents and gifts, indecision, potential, dreams, sensitivity, carelessness, artistic vision, and exploration. Amethyst Aquamarine Indigo Gabbro (also known as Mystic Merlinite) Lepidolite Black Pearl White Pearl Pisces Season Crystal Ritual & Meditation: Ritual Overview: Create an energy-infused gem water with Amazonite. Work with the water to cleanse and release heavy or stagnant emotional energy. Re-fill your aura with positive crystal energy. Center yourself through deep breathing. Ritual Supplies: A small dish of water an Amazonite stone A Celestite crystal for Uranus (Pisces’ ruling planet) - you can substitute any of the Uranus stones listed above or any stone that corresponds to the Air Element (you can find a list of Air Element stones here). You can perform this short ceremonial practice at any time during Pisces season. Set a dish of water in your sacred space and gently place an Amazonite stone into the dish. Dip your finger in the water and use the crystal-infused water to anoint your heart and your brow. Close your eyes and feel the energy of the crystalline water energizing these areas. Take a deep breath in. As you exhale, visualize breathing out any unwanted or stagnant emotional energy. See this energy move toward the dish of water where it can be released and transmuted. Continue this process until all of the unwanted emotional energy has been released. Now, visualize the Amazonite stone glowing brightly with energy. On your next inhalation, see yourself breathe in this light until your aura is full of new, positively charged energy. Then, take some deep, centering breaths, open your eyes, and return to the present moment. Crystals for Pisces in Your Chart: In addition to working with crystals during Pisces season, you may also want to work with the following stones if you have Pisces energy in your birth chart. Each of us has many astrological influences that affect our energy and the way we interact with the world around us. Can I Learn Crystal Healing Online? | Online Crystal Healing Certification vs. In-Person Training Feb 01, 2024
    Show notes

Once you've made the decision to pursue crystal healing certification, you may feel like you've opened the doors to a whole new set of questions & considerations regarding your options. Probably one of the most common questions I receive from prospective students is: Is it really possible to learn crystal healing online? A few times per year, the behind-the-scenes activities of the school build up to a frenzied pace as we prepare to welcome in a new round of students for our Crystal Healing Certification Program. I absolutely love the excitement of this time and I start looking forward to connecting with new students…hearing their excitement about the program, answering their thoughtful questions, and learning from the stories and crystal experiences they share with our community. And although many of our students enroll right when we open the doors to the program, we also receive lots of questions this time of year from folks who are excited and curious to learn crystal healing, but wonder if an online program is really the right fit for them. Maybe you’ve even wondered about this yourself. With the popularity of crystal healing for personal well-being and healing arts businesses, plus the rise of online certification programs, many people wonder if virtual crystal training provides them with the same value and learning potential as an in-person classroom setting. So…if you find yourself asking, “Can I really learn crystal healing online?” here are some things I’ve learned offering online classes and programs over the past 17 years… Online training offers benefits like: Flexibility - You can take classes according to your schedule. You can choose when you work on your classes based on the best time of day or your weekly time commitment (and you can make changes if the need arises without getting behind). Accessibility - Online classes are more accessible because they can be done from home so there’s no need to travel. Additionally, class materials are available in a wide variety of formats to suit different learning styles and may make them a better option for disabled students. Convenience - Both the flexibility and accessibility of online classes create a level of convenience that’s unmatched compared to in-person classes and training. Online courses save you time and allow you to learn from the comfort of your own home. Even with these benefits, you may still be wondering if an online crystal healing certification is right for you. You may have doubts or fears about whether or not you’d have a positive experience in an online environment. We’ve been offering online classes for nearly 20 years, so we know these fears can get in the way of going for something you really want! If you feel excited and passionate about crystals and you want to learn more, but you’re feeling uncertain because of something (or lots of somethings), let’s dive into the reasons why opting to learn crystal healing online might work better for you than you think. “How will I stay organized and disciplined in my studies if I’m learning crystal healing online?” Many students question whether or not they’ll stick with their online classes (or if they’ll even start at all!). Maybe you’ve signed up for something in the past and you haven’t seen it through, or you feel like you have a track record of not finishing what you started. I’ve been there too. Which means…I know exactly where you’re most likely to become stuck, and I have some tools to keep you motivated and moving forward with your studies! Create Success Through Balance: Perhaps one of the biggest concerns new students face when it comes to online learning is personal accountability. It’s natural to wonder, “If I’m not showing up physically to a classroom, on a set schedule, will I be able to hold myself accountable for keeping up with classes and assignments?” If you really need a little nudge to get back into the swing of things, we do have some built-in reminders and guidance to help you get back on track inside of the Crystal Healing Certification Program. We’ve even created a FREE “Online Learning Success Guide” for all of our new students that spotlights some of our best tips for 11 different key areas for succeeding with online classes. And while you may be worried about following through on your commitment to learn, online courses make this simpler in SO many ways! Showing up for class from the comfort of your own home without having to travel makes finding the time for learning much easier (plus…you can come to class in your pajamas - we call that a win! ?). With our online crystal healing courses, you don’t have to worry about travel time, or keeping a standing commitment in your calendar - online crystal healing courses provide you with the flexibility and convenience to show up when it works best for you…which means you’ll be more excited to learn without feeling pressured. When you have the flexibility you need to succeed, combined with the structure of Love & Light’s award-winning classes, you get the best of both worlds. This balance creates an environment for optimal learning so you can get the most from the program curriculum. We want you to have an enjoyable and enriching experience. After nearly 20 years of listening to our students’ feedback, we know the balance of flexibility and structure that our courses provide is a huge contributing factor to their success. Stay on Track with Our Simple Course Structure: One of the most important questions you may have before signing up for any new educational program is about the course structure. HOW something is taught is just as crucial (if not more!) as WHAT is being taught. I’ve planned our Crystal Healing Certification and Advanced Crystal Practitioner Programs with a clear structure to keep you on track and feeling ready to take the next steps in your learning journey. We have continuously refined the flow of our program lessons over the years to create a clearly structured curriculum that builds your knowledge and experience as you go. Starting with a foundation of how and why crystals work, we build upon that groundwork by integrating information from previous lessons, while advancing your knowledge with specific skills and tools in each new class. Designed with our students in mind, our online course portal is clear and easy to navigate. Our course materials are easy to locate and use. Plus, you can see your lesson progress and your position in the overall course map so you know exactly what to expect each step of the way. Tools for Your Unique Learning Style: In addition to keeping you top of mind when we designed our straightforward course structure, we were also thinking of you when we developed our course materials. From videos to workbooks, audio files to slideshows, and bonus guides and charts, we know that providing course materials in lots of different formats for different styles of learning is key to student success! If you find yourself feeling the urge to snooze through a lecture, mix it up and try something new! Whether you prefer to watch, read, listen, or engage with hands-on activities, we’ve got you covered. Stay Committed by Getting Personal: We know it can be challenging to do things on your own (grocery shopping is way more fun with a buddy, am I right?), and although your coursework will be done independently, there are LOTS of great opportunities for connection within our Programs. Joining our student community, participating in our lesson forums, and coming to our live office hour calls and Q&A nights is a great way to stay connected with your classmates, get help from us with your lessons, and (most importantly) get a motivational boost to help you keep your commitment to your coursework! Engaging with others is not only fun, it helps you stay accountable. So if you’re worried about following through on that next lesson or studying for your upcoming quiz, take a few minutes for some meaningful personal connection in one of our supportive community spaces - you’ll get back on track in no time! Feel Supported with Our Crystal Immersion Method ™: I've designed my Crystal Immersion Method ™ of teaching to help you work through the course materials in a clear, comprehensive, and structured way. The Crystal Immersion Method ™ helps you deepen your crystal knowledge and spiritual development through 3 key pillars of training: Intuition, Compassion, and Confidence. Throughout our classes and programs, these 3 pillars are a central focus, helping to set you up for success in your learning journey AND in your crystal healing practice. At critical points in the program, we've highlighted these pillars to keep you engaged with what you are learning and help you overcome personal obstacles that might otherwise keep you from engaging with your classes. We have identified the places where students most frequently face these challenges (from distractions to limiting beliefs and more), and we have some special motivational tools, rooted in these pillars to help keep you on track. Final Thoughts on Learning Crystal Healing Online: Deciding whether or not to join any online training is a big decision, and there are a lot of things to consider without having the additional worry of whether or not you’ll stick with the program and succeed. That’s why we’ve addressed the most common roadblocks that students face in online programs with our structured course delivery, flexible and convenient classes with lesson materials that suit diverse learning styles, cultivation of a supportive online community, and tons of tools and support to keep you on the path to success. It would be an honor to provide your Crystal Healing Certification training. If you’d like to: Learn more about how Love & Light’s CCH & ACP Programs work

Speak this question or statement aloud. Close your eyes and visualize the smoke carrying the energy of your voice, your sacred words, out of your space, up into the sky, out into the cosmos until they reach your guides or ancestors. Take a few deep breaths and wait for any communication from your guides in return. Remain in this space until you receive a reply or until your incense stick has burned to completion. Then, take some deep, centering breaths, open your eyes, and return to the present moment. Crystals for Aquarius in Your Chart: In addition to working with crystals during Aquarius season, you may also want to work with the following stones if you have Aquarius energy in your birth chart. Your Sun Sign is the astrological sign that the Sun was in during the time of your birth (also known as your Zodiac sign). If Aquarius is part of your Big 3, you can use the stones suggested below to enhance or balance its energy. Sunstone can always be used in place of a Sun Sign Stone (or you can use any of the Aquarius crystals listed at the beginning of this article), and Moonstone can be substituted in place of a Moon Sign Stone. Stone for Aquarius as Your Sun Sign: Cross Stone or Turquoise Stone for Aquarius as Your Moon Sign: Black Moonstone or Jet Stone for Aquarius as Your Rising Sign: Rhodonite or Spirit Quartz Working with Crystals for Your Big 3: To work with your 3 Astrological Crystals (Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs), you can craft a crystal energy pouch with corresponding crystals and symbols. After adding all the stones to the pouch,
