Kevin Durant leads the Brooklyn Nets on back-to-back winning streak over Hornets and Wizards Nov 07, 2022
    Show notes

The Brooklyn Nets have now won back-to back games for the first time this season, and given the firing of Steve Nash and suspension of Kyrie Irving, some feel good wins could not have come soon enough.

Adam Armbrecht looks not only at the late run against Charlotte to secure the Saturday night victory but also what went so well on Friday night in the blowout win against Washington. Seth Curry made his season debut and Joe Harris continues to round into farm, but it was a buried bench player in Cam Thomas that gave a two game sample that might suggest an expanding role for the second year Guard.

Ime Udoka in as next Brooklyn Nets head coach? Nov 01, 2022
    Show notes

It was a busy day for the Nets who let go Steve Nash after an uninspiring 2-5 start. And it didn’t take long for word to trickle out that they had a replacement ready to go. It looks like that’s going to be Ime Udoka, the embattled former head coach of the Celtics who was suspended earlier in the season for off-court issues. The Locked on Nets guys discuss the move and what it means for the Nets this season and beyond.

Steve Nash out as Brooklyn Nets Head Coach Nov 01, 2022
    Show notes

The Nets made a somewhat shocking though not all that surprising move on Tuesday, letting go of Steve Nash as the head coach. It has been a rough run for Nash since his time in the position, not all of his doing, though the team had clearly been underperforming to start the season. They were 2-5 and were already mired in issues. Nash leaves with a career, winning record though clearly lower than expectations all things considered. The Locked on Nets guys jump on for an emergency podcast to discuss the move and what it means for the team moving forward.

Nets lose to Bucks. Get 60 from Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but can’t overcome Giannis and company Oct 27, 2022
    Show notes

The Brooklyn Nets got 60 combined points from Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, but once again weren’t able to come up with enough offense or enough stops to beat the Bucks. They lose 110-99 with Giannis Antetokounmpo dropping 43 of his own, many of them in the 3rd and 4th on the way to the win. Steve Nash ended up getting two techs and tossed but even that show of emotion didn’t lead to the Nets not taking a major step back in the third quarter when they were outscored 35-21. The Locked on Nets guys break down the game, the Nets issues in the 3rd again and how this whole thing unfolded.

The Locked on Nets break down the game and what went wrong for the Nets.
