The Nets still can’t beat the Celtics. Why is this a continued problem for Brooklyn? Dec 05, 2022
    Show notes

Kevin Durant and the Nets hosted the Celtics on Sunday in the teams’ first meeting since Boston swept Brooklyn out of the playoffs last season. It was more of the same for Durant, Kyrie Irving and crew. Brooklyn lost 103-92, storming back a number of times but never really getting over the hump against the Celtics who’ve been about the best team in basketball thus far this season. Durant had 31 though did turn the ball over eight times. Meanwhile, Kyrie was inefficient, going 7-21 from the field and putting in just 18 in his 40 minutes. The Locked on Nets guys break down the game and what things stood out as the same from last season with this team.

Ben Simmons returns to Philly, but Nets lose in embarrassing fashion to the 76ers Nov 23, 2022
    Show notes

It was a return for Ben Simmons to Philadelphia for his first regular season game since the trade, and he looked actually pretty good all things considered. Simmons finished with 11 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds, and a bunch of defensive stats. But the Nets, as a whole, looked overmatched by the 76ers B-team who were without Joel Embiid, James Harden and Tyrese Maxey. They were dominated on the offensive glass with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and company making it way too easy for Philly. The Locked on Nets break down the loss and what it means for the Nets.
