In today's episode I share exactly what methods I'm trained in, what I use in my sleep training plans and how you can expect success. You'll get full clarity from this episode!

96: Making Healthy Choices When Taking Your Child To A Restaurant Feb 27, 2020
    Show notes

Taking your child out to eat can sometimes feel like a buffet of french fries and macaroni. It's so frustrating to find limited options! Kacie Barnes of Mama Knows Nutrition joins me on the podcast to discuss how to make choices when going out to eat. We discuss how splitting a meal can help them explore new textures and flavors, while also juggling the balance of ENJOYING time out with your family!

As Kacie says, "As a parent, you can and should have boundaries set up around food and feeding. This applies to home and restaurants alike. When you get to a restaurant, let your child know what your expectations are. You’re in control of what they eat at this stage, and it’s okay to own that!"

95: Is It Too Late To Sleep Train My Child? Feb 19, 2020
    Show notes

It's a question I receive every single week, "My child is _____ months/years old. Is it too late to sleep train them?"

The answer is NO!!! It's not! I firmly believe it's never too late to teach a child to sleep. (That's why adult sleep consultants are a thing!)

On today's episode I'm speaking with Jessica who recently completed the Preschool Sleep E-Coaching™ Program with her 3 year old daughter Lucy. Jessica shares it ALL! What things were like prior to sleep training, how the process worked, hiccups along the way and what sleep looks like 1 month out of the training.

We even had bonus coaching time to talk through questions about Lucy's sleep! If you have a friend with a sleep-less child who thinks, "One day they'll figure it out" THIS is the episode to share!!!!

    92: "I Don't Trust Anyone To Babysit" - Advice From A Grandmother Jan 30, 2020
    Show notes

When polled about when the last date night was, it was almost like crickets. But then! When asked "What's holding you back from getting a babysitter?" the flood gates opened! Hundreds of you said you're struggling with trusting others to watch your child and can't afford to hire a babysitter. These are big topics! And I actually didn't feel 100% qualified to come and tell YOU how to manage it. So I called up my mom, the wisest person I know, and invited her on the show to talk through it!

    We talk through these replies:

"I don't trust anyone with my child but me."

"I'm afraid if I'm not there to micromanage my baby's needs won't be met."

"We just moved to a new country and don't know anyone."

"It's expensive to have a babysitter."
