Risk Management in Commander May 23, 2025

Show notes

What if building a commander deck was more like a risk management assessment? In this episode, Andy ciphers corporate principals of risk management onto the experience of looking at our EDH decks and contemplating how we approach new deck brews. Joined by Kyle, the two explore how deckbuilding decisions like over-reliance on the commander reliance, mana composition, strategy complexity, and more all carry inherent risks.
