League of Loreheads

Latest Episodes:

Skarner Jul 10, 2023

Show notes

Apparently The Crystal Vanguard is getting a lore update soon, and boy does he need it. There's so little here, and it's definitely all very confusing right guys? It wasn't just me? RIGHT???

Sivir Jul 03, 2023

Show notes

We've been getting through quite a few of the very first champions lately. Apparently Riot had a thing for the letter S! Sivir didn't have much going on until they used her to resurrect Azir and kick off a war between a bunch of Ascended, although Sivir doesn't seem to care about any of that (mood). She's a simple gal with dead parents who just wants to rob people, but also maybe uhhh take away Ascenion from Darkin and uhhh use it for something else. We'll see I guess!

Sion Jun 26, 2023

Show notes

Without much lore to his name, everyone's favorite giant, undead, monster man left us to our own devices; devices which include conjecture about Sion being a literal big baby and workshopping Noxian infomercials. It might be nice for Riot to revisit Noxus' most recent revenant, but until then we'll have to hope Swain has been regularly changing out the straw in Sion's cage and feeding him sanguine gerbil pellets.

Singed Jun 19, 2023

Show notes

We didn't expect The Mad Chemist to have much lore, but here we are! Not only does he have a long story, it's extremely good and creepy and how is Singed the scariest thing in Zaun? We just need a little of the Arcane Singed to make his way into his voice lines please and thank you very much.

Shyvana Jun 12, 2023

Show notes

We apologize for how often we use the P word in this episode, but it just fits! This Half-dragon is half dragon, half human with purple skin, half vampire half...wait what? We're not entirely sure what's going on here, but there's certainly some good stuff. And also some confusing stuff because Riot decided to gut her bio for some reason.

Shen Jun 05, 2023

Show notes

What is Shen like? Well it depends on what story you're reading! We enjoy some versions of Shen, but we really need the guy to do a little more. Overall, some great potential here. And maybe just make Shen the Witcher.

Shaco May 31, 2023

Show notes

Despite being in the game for an eternity, Shaco has about as much lore as Heimerdinger. Actually, maybe less, since he doesn't have a color story. Is the Demon Jester an old, haunted doll? Or is he just a regular dude who dresses like that? One thing is certain: He isn't a demon. But at least we have a billion Journal of Justice articles to go through.

Sett May 22, 2023

Show notes

Sett has been out for a few years now and seems to be a fan favorite, and yet Riot hasn't seemed to do much with this Boss. We're always into a story that has nothing to do with the end of Runeterra, but we could still use a little more within Sett's world. Also please give us the Alistar comic.

Seraphine May 16, 2023

Show notes

There was a ton of hate when The Starry-Eyed Songstress was released, and we get it. Seraphine's not the worst though, surely, though a smidge misguided. A big ol' potential here, as always, so please give us an arrogant version of Sera because it just works.

Senna May 08, 2023

Show notes

While we like Senna, it truly feels like we've gone over the Ruination every which way at this point. Although I guess not, because we'll be back again for Thresh! The Redeemer has a unique relationship in League though, having an actual canon romance and all, but we'd like for Riot to tug on our heartstrings a little more. Give us the pain we deserve please.
