Army of the Dead (2021) | Juliet Perry | What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas May 27, 2021

Show notes

We hit the jackpot Baddies, Zack Snyder has blessed us again with a tent pole Zombie film and his second epic of the year. We watched Army of the Dead, starring Dave Bautista and Atlantic City’s best impression of Las Vegas. This movie is a Heist-shoot-em-up-zombie-father-daughter-survivor-story that Zack Snyder concocted I’m his head. Christian and Alejandro are joined by produce Juliet Perry, and the three of them went to the movie theaters to see this. Alejandro is physically ill from the movie or the popcorn… it’s hated to say honestly. Jules says demons are way more real than zombies. Christian gets mad at Alejandro but Alejandro still hasn’t exactly figured out what he said to push that button. ICBTB's Highly Irrelevant | Rosemarie Baltazar (Christian's Mom) | Lips to Lips May 25, 2021

Show notes

It's Tuesday yet again, but not just any other Tuesday. The smell of garlic and fried fish is in the air and if you listen hard enough, you can hear Christian getting yelled at. Baddies, it's a very special episode of Highly Irrelevant as we are joined by the Mom, the Myth, the Legend, Rosemarie Baltazar AKA Christian's Mom. This is basically just one hour of Christian defending his past, Alejandro instigating, and Christian's mom looking into the camera when she talks. Pretty much everything makes it into this cut even though she asks us to edit things out every 2 minutes. ENJOY. I know we did. LOVE YOU MOM HOPE YOU HAD FUN AND THANKS FOR COMING ON FINALLY. In Time (2011) | Ten Minutes For an Hour May 20, 2021

Show notes

Tick tock on the clock Baddies! This week we watched In Time, the quasi dystopian future Sci-Fi masterpiece. Justin Timberlake makes his acting powers very evident in this film where people stop aging at 25 and instead barter and sell using time as money, and time is life, thus money is life... also all transactions are through a Spartan Hand shake. Producer Jules joins the boys, and Alejandro and Christian are breathless by all the running from this movie. They both love the world that was built in this movie and would love a franchise/ Netflix series spin off, much like every one off movie we see. Alejandro is infuriated by JT’s poker tactics. Christian loves to watch bread being made.Anyways reading this description cost you 50 seconds of your life! ICBTB's Highly Irrelevant | We Do Kegels May 18, 2021

Show notes

It's time to strengthen that pelvic floor, Baddies, and what better way than to learn from these two guys that definitely know what they're talking about. We're joined by fan-favorite, Juliet Perry, as she makes an off-camera appearance as our producer and fact-checker. We talk about how PC culture has affected what roles actors can portray, pros and cons of the infamous Kegel exercise, turtle necks on women, and the real meaning of "Booby" traps. Christian yells at Alejandro again and is fat in Las Vegas. Alejandro tells us more depressing history facts and doesn't like bidets. Juliet brings the heat once again and is to be heard and not seen. We do an improv scene about a couple using a Zoltar machine. GAREN IS IN THE STUDIO! Garen, A.K.A. "G Muny", is a good friend, business consultant, lover of many things, and also works in Music Management in New York. We talk about making mistakes in our 20's, caring vs. not caring about what others think, three-way kissing, and discovering our own boundaries. Christian is a lady in the streets but a freak in the bed. Alejandro has a therapy session and thinks that all best friends should kiss. Garen loves her air fryer and tells us how much she hates this mainland sh**. We also do an improv scene about 3 squirtles in a Pokeball. Mortal Kombat (2021) | Christian Explains It All May 06, 2021

Show notes

It’s fight night once again Baddies. And this time we have such a great, great, great film for you, did I mention it was great? We watched Mortal Kombat (2021). Compared to Motral Kombat Annihilation this move is so much better. The clear start of a new fantastic franchise, this movie sets up so many great characters and storylines, we can’t wait for all of the Mortal Kombat series. Alejandro is totally convinced that Mortal Kombat is metal as fuck and is mad he didn’t appreciate it in the past. The gore, the costumes, and the cheesy one liners are all used in this film in a “Flawless Victory”. Alejandro pitches his Jonny Cage movie. And Christian gets top marks for knowing everything and explains it all, except for the weird couple facts Alejandro read about Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage’s marriage and subsequent divorce. (For those 90’s babies out there the title is a reference to Clarissa Explains It All.) It’s Tuesday again and we have another Highly Irrelevant for you, Baddies, and this time, it’s just DA BOIZ. We talk about doing magic and singing in public, bombing at open mics, and things to do in Las Vegas. Christian drinks bubbler water and has sweaty eyelids. Alejandro wants to kiss a dog’s butt and tells us an R. Kelly joke. We do an improv scene about being Arnel Pineda’s cousin on a first class flight. Not Another Teen Movie (2001) | Greg Salais | Outta Pocket Apr 29, 2021

Show notes

Welcome home baddies, or wherever you are listening... but welcome anyways. The boys are re-joined by Gerg Salais, our old friend, our confidant, and legal advisor. In this episode we visit the greatest High School film, Not Another Teen Movie. Chris Evans holds no bars in the attacking of all tropes High School movies gloss over. Explaining memes, how Christian practices google ratings in his free time, and Alejandro is drunk on liquor filled chocolates. Christian traps Alejandro by setting up great jokes and hating Alejandro for making said joke. We discover Gerg is accidentally dressed like the lead female. But by the end of the episode we real question if Rom-coms are cute, or creepy... very very thin line between creepy and romantic, just keep that in mind Baddies.
