This week, I sit down with the great Ryan Peters to talk all things pasta. I've known Ryan for a while now. When we first met, we were sitting down to record his first episode. All I knew about him was that he was a great chef that had a passion for pasta. His Instagram was riddled with photos of egg yolk piles and precisely cut pasta shapes. When we talked back then, he was getting ready to head the new pasta program at Ironborn Pizza. If you've ever had the pleasure of having some pasta from there, I'm sure you know how good it is. When he was done slinging pasta at work, Ryan was coming home and putting in a whole other shift creating content. Fast forward a year and a half, now Ryan is a god damn TikTok star. Having quickly building a community of over 2 million followers, Ryan decided to step away from his position at Ironborn and focus on being a content creator full time. This is a great episode. It's unreal to watch Ryan become a full blown tiktok star in real time. He even tells a story of how he found out Ren Stevens from 'Even Stevens' was a big fan of his tiktok. How wild is that? One day, searching through Instagram, he was looking for something of a breakfast guide to the 412. After searching, he didn't find anything that caught his attention so he decided to take matters into his own hands. In the beginning, Zack started @wakeuppghto basically just rate the different breakfast dishes he was eating. That page has since turned into him creating these picture perfect breakfast sammys you see here. This week, Zack and I talk about why breakfast is amazing, why he started @wakeuppgh, and how someone who never used social media decided to jump in head first and become the breakfast page every Pittsburgher needs. This week, I sit down with fancybread. Eli or 'fancybread' is a mixed media artist based out of Pittsburgh, Pa. A couple years ago, I came across his Instagram because of a 6ft piece he created of Mac Miller when he unfortunately passed away. I thought the piece was really great and have been following his work ever since. This week, we sit down and talk about life and how his journey lead him to art. fancybread grew up playing sports. He doodled here and there but never fully committed to art. Basketball was life. He played hoops in college and after making life choices that led him away from basketball, he started to manifest his destiny a different way. We talk about motivation, self reflection, discipline, the up's and down's along the way, and so much more. This weekend, fancybread is challenging himself to do an Ironman to raise money which will start in Southside with a 2 1/2 mile swim, then a 100+ mile bike ride, finished up with running a marathon, and ending by jumping in Lake Erie. This episode was amazing. Again, this is everything I could ever hope for with a podcast episode. It was touching, silly, fun, and full of some life lessons and wisdom. This week, I sit down with Will Loevner to talk about some wild shit. Will is a goat farmer, a bicycle enthusiast, an ultra endurance athlete, and an absolute animal. I came across his Instagram because of Michael Cottle and Dirty Harrys Bicycles reposting things on their story about someone local doing some crazy shit. I did some creeping and out who it was. Will is that guy. He recently just challenged himself to one of the most gnarly rides I've ever heard of. He completed the Wilderness 101 which is a 101 miles trail climbing up, down, and over 12,000ft of elevation. That alone is crazy enough in itself, but for Will, it wasn't crazy enough. This dude did the Wilderness 101 THREE DAMN TIMES IN A ROW. Will did 303 miles in 32 hours and this week, we talk all about it. Buckle up and put on your helmet, this one is absolutely insane.

'The Anybody Can Do This Show' is a show that was once perfectly described as the "Profoundly Idiotic." Skater Rob and Neighbor Nick run a show that is spontaneous, ridiculous, hilarious, with a nice sprinkle of profound wisdom. When you listen to The ACDT Show, you might hear a segment called "Beat or Beat Those Cheeks," an interview with a great guest like Matt Sphar, a dating show, some gambling advice, or even a wholesome discussion about 80's action films 'Sudden Death' and 'Striking Distance.' Neighbor Nick and Skater Rob asked me to be on their show for their upcoming Season 4 that drops TODAY and I had a blast. I wasn't familiar with their show to much before they asked me to be a guest but after I listened to the first episode, I started to rip through the entire catalog from the previous 3 seasons. This week, I am going to sit down with Antonette to talk to her about breaking into the MUA (makeup artist) game. We're going to talk about her introduction to makeup, growing up as a fellow emo kid, how she decided to turn one of her passions into a thriving business, some inside info about the makeup biz, some pet peeves, and so much more. I asked Matt to come on the podcast and talk to me about his journey in hopes of being able to offer a look into the life of someone who was once in a bad place but managed to get out. We talk about how his addiction started, being incarcerated, getting into recovery, empathy, and how he continues to work to be better each and every day. I'm so thankful to Matt for feeling comfortable enough to open up to me in this way. Before we sat down to record, we were complete strangers. We talk about how Tena became a dog trainer and so much more. It's incredibly interesting. Having a dog of your own is life changing 100%. The bond you immediately have with them is wild. You don't speak their same language but you learn to coexist in your own way. It's like solving a living Rubix Cube. If you have a dog, I implore you to do anything you can to make their life more enjoyable. Growing up, I just thought you feed a dog and pet them and take them outside. I didn't know of the need for a dog to exercise their mind. Its cool to try to get inside their head. I enjoyed the episode and I know you and your dog will too. Thanks for listening.
