Episode 116: Thom Brennaman Nov 09, 2021

Show notes

On August 19th, 2020 Thom Brennaman was announcing the Cincinnati Reds game. He uttered a gay slur over a "hot mic" seconds before coming back to "live" action. He was subsequently fired by the Reds and Fox Sports. Brennaman's apologies were ridiculed by many and on this episode he talks about what his life has been like since that night. We also talk about cancel culture and my situation! It is a great listen!

Grant's Rant: 11-8-21 Sac Kings Inconsistencies Nov 08, 2021

Show notes

Sacramento Kings are 5-5 thru the first 10 games of the NBA season. That's pretty good when you look at their schedule. What's not good is their 4th quarter play and that of DeAaron Fox who currently looks like the most overpaid player in the NBA. That needs to change soon if the Kings expect to be a playoff team. Last night the Kings followed up their best performance of the season with a 94-91 loss to the Pacers. Again. many inconsistencies!

Grant's Rant: 11-4-21 What A Mess In Cleveland Nov 04, 2021

Show notes

The Cleveland Browns are a mess right now. They are last in their division, and family members are making things worse thanks to social media. Earlier this week it was Odell Beckham's father posting video on social media insinuating that Baker Mayfield is intentionally not throwing the ball to him...now it's baker's wife Emily. Emily who has been very critical of the fans, and defending Baker in the past is now liking tweets from fans blaming other players for the Browns 4-4 start. If the Browns lose this week to the Bengals look out!

Grant's Rant: 11-3-21 OBJ's Dad Out Of Control Nov 03, 2021

Show notes

What is the deal with parents these days? Earlier this week Odell Beckham Jr's dad put a video on social media showing his son being open and Baker Mayfield not throwing him the ball. So now we are supposed to be believe that Mayfield is intentionally avoiding OBJ? Ya just can't make this stuff up!
