Hello everyone!

How is it already time for hometowns? I feel like Charity’s romantic journey to find love has been more of a brisk powerwalk around the block to see who is available, am I right? How is she supposed to figure out if she likes someone if she’s only known them for three to four weeks versus the traditional seven to eight weeks?

Something tells me the Paradise schedule is to blame for this unfortunate circumstance. Or maybe it’s our golden bachelor Gerry? Perhaps ABC feels the need to fast-track his journey in case certain factors that may cut a season short. Like a broken hip during a bungee jumping date or an impromptu trip to the hospital that has nothing to do with another contestant pushing someone down the stairs.

Hey, at least Charity gets to spend a few days in Fiji as she breaks the heart of two perfectly good men in order to be with one perfectly normal man.

It could definitely be worse.

You should know that I thought this episode was slightly dull. I will say that the podcast is anything but. Some Guy in Austin and I tend to go off-roading with our thoughts when the storylines are a little too predictable, and today’s recording showcases how we are masters of tangents.

While discussing Brayden’s Zero Dark Thirty scarf and Dotun’s likeability, we also deep dive into important topics, such as:

Sean going full meta and refusing to believe he isn’t really Denim-On-Denim Ken.

Warwick’s narcolepsy.

Well, it happened. I drove to the movie theater to experience one of the big blockbuster hits of the summer, and it technically did not disappoint! The Little Mermaid was everything I wanted it to be and about 27 minutes more than I wanted it to be.

Never fear, people. The underwater scenes were not distracting, and real-life Prince Eric is as handsome as he was in the cartoon.

That sentence is not weird.

Well, here we are, celebrating three hundred episodes of the IHGB podcast. A lot of hard work got me here, along with all the TV recapping and movie watching, but I couldn’t have done it without the following:

Thank you, Bachelor franchise, for five seasons of wack-a-do nonsense. Here’s a hearty salute to Matt, Katie, Michelle, Gabby and Rachel, and vanilla Zach who all proved that we still watch this show for the drama and not the romance.
A big shout out to Taylor Swift for making five albums and one incredible tour. I may never be the same.
I’d like to shout out the movie Grease 2 and all the listeners who were so angry with me that I thought no one ever watched this stellar sequel. Again, I apologize.
