Year 2: Puerto Rico Update Apr 20, 2021
    Show notes

We're getting a lot of messages from you about Puerto Rico, and today, we are finally answering your questions!

Almost two years ago, my husband Jared and I decided to move to Puerto Rico. We didn't know much about it, but still, six weeks later, we took the plunge and moved there with our children.

And that was probably one of the best decisions we've ever made. Saying it’s an adventure would be an understatement!

This is why today's episode is nothing about business and all about Puerto Rico, from why we moved there, to what we love about it (the food is only one of the reasons we’ve stayed here longer than we first planned), to what you should absolutely put on your bucket list and what you should a hundred percent avoid (for us, it’s iguanas and bugs)!

So, if you want to learn about our move, our adventures along the way, and why we made the jump, tune in now!

    Key Takeaways

    • Intro (00:00)
    • How we took the decision (01:41)
    • Our new home in Puerto Rico (04:42)
    • Our favorite places in Puerto Rico (08:53)
    • Our favorite food in Puerto Rico (15:36)
    • Puerto Rico's real estate boom (19:04)
    • Our "non-favorite" things about Puerto Rico (20:36)

What Common Things You Have Can Make You Successful Mar 16, 2021

What I love about e-commerce is how well it showcases our individuality as people! There is a business for pretty much ANYTHING you can think of. Whether it be jewelry, apparel, or even the knowledge industry that is booming as of late, there is something for everyone.

But amidst all of that, diversity is a common goal that we all hold. Financial freedom. Maybe that looks like having extra grocery money at the end of the week or being able to work from home, so you have more time with your family.

The road to that freedom isn’t easy, and unfortunately, it’s not always laid out perfectly. But it’s all about choosing your hard, and the truth is there are some common things you can implement in your life today that will result in uncommon successes!

Today, I had the opportunity to chat with John Lee Dumas about finding financial freedom and becoming the AMAZING entrepreneur I know you’re capable of becoming. John is the host of the popular podcast, Entrepreneurs On Fire and author of the new book “The Common Path To Uncommon Success.”

This week, I had the opportunity to talk to Grace Burby, one of our students from the Next Level program, about growing her sales from $600 a year to over $35,000.

We chatted about her background in entrepreneurship, how she chose her product, and what she did to get traffic to her store. Grace offers her advice to those who may just be starting out and explains why she loves the Next Level program so much.

The Next Level program is currently exclusive to those in the $1-100K group, and seats are filling up fast. Shoot me an email at support@alisonjprince.com if you’re interested in being a part of the fun!
