Susan Crawford is the Professor at the Cardozo School of Law, former Special Assistant for Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy to President Obama, columnist for Bloomberg View, former Board Member of ICANN, and founder of OneWebDay. She is also the author of, "Captive Audience: The Telecom Industry and Monopoly Power in the New Gilded Age."

Crawford believes the telecom industry now has a monopoly. American are paying much more for Internet access yet getting much less. Other countries are beating America in this space.

Crawford helps answer whether the FCC will ever enforce free wifi for anyone in the US.

In 2009, Crawford served as special assistant to President Obama for science, technology, and innovation policy. She is a former law partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering (now WilmerHale). She is the founder of OneWeb Day, a global Earth Day for the Internet held each Sept. 22. In January 2013, Yale University Press published her book, “Captive Audience: The Telecom Industry and Monopoly Ppower in the New Gilded Age." She earned a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, and a law degree from Yale University.

Speaking of the FCC, its Chairman position is open, and there is a chance that Crawford ends up on the hot seat.

Joel Gilbert is a musician and documentary filmmaker whose 2012 piece "Dreams From My Real Father" blows the doors off the Obama birth certificate controversy. Gilbert's film, made in a unique format, describes the youth of Barack Hussein Obama and his relationship with Frank Marshall Davis, a famous American Communist radical.

Gilbert's film puts a completely different twist on the origins of Obama by it examining the man, Davis, who guided the young Barack and shaped his world view. Frank Marshall Davis, as portrayed by Gilbert's film, was Barack Obama's real father. HS 153 - Government Overreach & Changing Laws with CO Rep Jared Wright Jun 14, 2013

Jason Hartman is joined by Colorado Representative Jared Wright to talk about some of America’s hot topics, including the NDAA, the use of drones, gun rights and the legalization of marijuana. Representative Wright expresses his concerns with how new laws are being written, particularly the broad language of the National Defense Authorization Act, which many citizens see as unconstitutional. He also discusses the use of drones and other technology that are raising privacy issues. There are legitimate purposes for high tech equipment, but limits need to be placed on its use, such as law enforcement officials obtaining a warrant prior to using a drone in an investigation. Rep. Wright stresses the need for balance in public safety and privacy.

Rep. Wright believes strongly in the free market and allowing America's entrepreneurs, small business owners, ranchers and farmers to live the American dream with minimal taxation, regulation and government intrusion. He is opposed to anti-gun measures and NDAA legislation. Jared Wright is a second generation Grand Valley Colorado native and a proud husband and father. Rep. Wright attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction,CO, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in political science. He began his career in public service early, first working as a legislative intern at the Colorado State Capitol and then transitioning onto Congressman Scott McInnis’s (R-Colo.) staff.

Inspired by others who protect and serve, Rep. Wright attended the Delta Montrose Law Enforcement Academy in 2006 and served as a police officer for the City of Fruita between 2007 and 2011. As a police officer, Rep. Wright was a Critical Incident Techniques certified officer and specialized in effectively dealing with highly volatile situations involving the mentally ill. Rep. Wright also served as a public information officer (PIO) for the department and received specialty training as a child forensic interviewer, working diligently to protect and find justice for innocent children victimized by the worst criminal predators.

Austin Petersen is the Director of Production at FreedomWorks and was an associate producer for Judge Andrew Napolitano's show, "Freedom Watch" on Fox Business. Petersen grew up on a farm in Peculiar, Missouri. Graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Fine Arts, Petersen moved to New York City to pursue a career in media.
