There are times in your life when you know you’ve hit upon something big. As a doctor, I’ve seen a lot of amazing stories of recovery, as well as my fair share of heartbreaking ones.
As you know, my team and I traveled around the world, interviewing the researchers and scientists, clinicians and patients! We visited places like America, England, Portugal, Germany, Spain, and Brazil to witness firsthand the stories of autoimmunity, shattering the lies that the medical community and patients alike have been told for years. The end result? My docuseries, Betrayal: The Autoimmune Disease Solution They’re Not Telling You.
We now partner with Health Talks Online to share this jaw-dropping series, and I’d love it if you were a part of this piece of history. Our promotion window opens June 24 and Day 1 of the launch is July 29, 2019.

Encore Episode: Bye Bye Mammograms? Rethinking Breast Cancer Screening Jun 18, 2019
Show notes Women who have been told repeatedly to "get your mammogram" may have been misled. For decades, women have been advised to "get your mammogram" as an early detection approach.
According to Dr. Nyjon Eccles, women have been misled.
Based on research, Dr. Eccles states that mammography screening doesn't lead to survival advantage. He cites research results that show for every 2,000 women who are screened over 10 years, one life will be saved, 10 women will receive unnecessary treatment, and 200 women will receive false positive results.

A better alternative, says Dr. Eccles, is the use of thermography, which uses infrared cameras to detect heat radiating from breast tissue. Cancers generate heat because they are highly metabolic and cause increased blood circulation. The screening tool does not involve compression of the breasts, nor does it use radiation. It is able to pick up on potential cancer before it can be seen, structurally, by a mammogram.
Another benefit is that thermography screening isn't impeded by dense breast tissue, and therefore can be used in younger women who may have a family history or genetic risk.
While mammography may produce false positives, Dr. Eccles has seen thermography result in 90-95% accuracy.
He does caution, however, that thermography shouldn't be used as a diagnostic tool; rather, its focus should be screening and early detection. Just because heat is detected, doesn't mean it's cancer -- it could be an inflammatory response. That said, any chronic or persistent inflammatory issues should also be followed up with additional diagnostic investigation.
Listen as Dr. Eccles joins Dr. Taz to discuss more about why thermography is a better option to mammography, as well as his development of ThermoCheck®, a computer-assisted Breast Thermography system.

EP 134 - Novel Strategies for Managing Your Brain: Sensory Processing, TBI, ADHD and More Jun 11, 2019
Show notes Learn how to treat neurological, behavioral and developmental disorders like PTSD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and dyslexia without pharmaceuticals.Neurological, behavioral and developmental disorders like PTSD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, TBI, and Parkinson’s are most often treated with pharmaceuticals.
But, that isn’t always an appropriate or sustainable option, especially for children.
Carol Garner-Houston, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Brain Harmony, has created a non-pharmaceutical treatment option that can start to take effect in just five days. Neuroplastic tools such as bone conduction and sound frequency can be used to make changes in the brain.
Her bottom-up approach uses audio frequencies to pinpoint different parts of brain, stimulate them, and build connections to improve cognitive functions.

Listen as Carol joins Dr. Taz to discuss how brain functions can be improved through telemedicine.
