Did Nolan Wells' Attorney Skip Mississippi For His Announcement?! Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

Nolan Wells — the independent autopsy results were not announced in Mississippi. They were not released at a press conference near the investigation. Ben Crump stood at the NAACP National Convention in Chicago — standing-room-only audience, national cameras rolling — and told the country the cause and manner of death were undetermined. The forensic pathologist was introduced at the convention. The family spoke at the convention. The investigation is in Jackson County, Mississippi. At the same event, the NAACP president called Mississippi officials "derelict in their duties." But the DA had already met with the family. The FBI is reviewing digital evidence. Sixty witnesses have been interviewed. A grand jury referral is coming. The investigators being attacked publicly are the ones actively cooperating.Meanwhile, a combined $125,000 reward is posted — no arrest, no suspect, no evidence of a crime — and the friends who cooperated are receiving threats. A chancery judge posted publicly about threats to her family. AI-generated images and debunked videos circulate as evidence.Eric Faddis examines what happens when the stage being built around a case is bigger than the evidence inside it — and whether that stage serves the truth or something else.

Did Mississippi Keep Part Of Nolan Wells' Body?! Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

Nolan Wells — the independent autopsy is back and it answers almost nothing. Cause of death: undetermined. Manner of death: undetermined. But the pathologist flagged something the family's legal team is now pressing hard: Mississippi retained the neck structures from their examination. That means the independent pathologist could not assess whether Nolan was strangled. Mississippi calls it standard procedure. The family calls it a gap that can never be closed. There are three hundred people who were on Horn Island that day. Sixty have been interviewed. The friends who left with Nolan that morning cooperated fully and gave statements consistent with Coast Guard dispatch records. No witness has described seeing a crime. The DA says presenting to a grand jury is routine for any unnatural death — not an indication of suspected criminal activity. But Nolan's family says data was scrubbed from his phone before they recovered it, and the FBI is reviewing digital evidence.Eric Faddis breaks down what this evidence file actually contains, whether undetermined helps or hurts the family's pursuit of answers, and what happens when a grand jury gets a case built on what nobody knows.

D4VD's Postmates Order After Celeste Died Showed WHAT?! Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

Day 1 of the d4vd preliminary hearing brought sealed evidence into public view. LAPD Robbery-Homicide Detective Joshua Byers testified about a chain of purchases allegedly made under fake identities — "TRavion Davis," "Victoria Mendez" — but traced back to David Anthony Burke's own cards and address. Burke faces first-degree murder charges with special circumstances. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts.

Prosecutors presented the purchase timeline in sequence, showing items allegedly acquired in the days, weeks, and months following the alleged death of fourteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The gap between the earliest and latest purchases — a shovel in April 2025 and a burn cage in July 2025 — is part of the prosecution's theory about an alleged disposal plan that kept shifting.

Digital forensics placed Burke's phone — registered in the Tesla's Bluetooth under an unusual name — as last connected to the vehicle on the same day surveillance footage allegedly shows him parking it and walking away through an alley before leaving on tour.

The hearing also featured body camera footage from a 2024 welfare check, financial testimony establishing more than ten million dollars in career income, and revelations about encrypted communications and asset transfers within Burke's inner circle. The defense pressed hard on evidence handling gaps. Multiple hearing days remain.

Why Lindsay Clancy's Psychosis Looked Like Normal Life Jul 24, 2026
    Show notes

The Lindsay Clancy trial has begun. Both sides agree she killed her three children. What they cannot agree on is whether the woman who did it was criminally responsible — and neither can the audience.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott, author of Night Bird, sits down with Tony Brueski to cover the complete clinical picture across three segments. The first examines what postpartum psychosis actually is — not the conflation with depression, not the baby blues myth, but the psychiatric emergency that involves delusions, hallucinations, and a break from reality invisible to the people around the person experiencing it. Lindsay's providers allegedly documented her reports of commanding voices as intrusive thoughts — two clinically distinct experiences that carry completely different treatment implications.

The second segment follows the treatment timeline. Thirteen medications. Five providers. A husband begging the doctors to stop. A suicide hotline that said she did not qualify. A three-day wait in a hospital before seeing a clinician. A forensic evaluation that diagnosed Bipolar I only after the killings — meaning every antidepressant prescribed during those months may have been pushing her toward psychosis rather than away from it.

The third segment tackles the public divide — why people split cleanly on this case, why the Apple Maps search reads as proof to both sides, why the judge blocked lay witnesses, and what Patrick Clancy meant when he said he was married to someone who got sick. Shavaun addresses what justice means when every outcome is a loss.

Did Nolan Wells' Phone Just Clear His Friends? Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

Everyone assumes Nolan Wells' phone will prove his friends did something wrong. What if it proves they didn't?

The phone and keys that came back from Horn Island without Nolan are headed for a joint forensic inspection — Crump's team, the DA's office, and the FBI all examining the same device. The results will show one of three things: someone manually deleted Snapchat messages, the phone sat idle because Nolan wasn't using it, or the app's built-in auto-delete functions ran on schedule.

Two of those outcomes are innocent. Only one suggests tampering. And a forensic examiner can tell the difference at the data level — deleted files leave gaps, timestamp mismatches, and cached fragments that clean inactivity doesn't produce.

This episode walks through the phone's full chain of custody, explains how cell tower cross-referencing works across multiple devices, and confronts the real possibility that the digital evidence supports the friends' account. If the location data matches their timeline and the Snapchat absence is just a teenager who left his phone on the boat, the phone tells that story too. The family is owed whichever answer the data contains — not the answer the internet decided on before the evidence was examined.

Why Lindsay Clancy's Case Splits People Down The Middle Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The audience watching the Lindsay Clancy trial is not debating evidence. They are debating identity. Was she a mother who chose to kill her children, or a woman who lost the ability to choose anything? The answer determines whether she spends the rest of her life in prison or in a psychiatric facility — and the public cannot agree.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to unpack why this case divides people so sharply. The Apple Maps search reads as premeditation to one group and desperation to another. The prosecution frames it as planning. The defense frames it as fear of being left alone with her children. Shavaun explains why both readings can be clinically valid and why the public's insistence on choosing one side reflects a deeper discomfort with what mental illness actually looks like.

Dozens of women who survived postpartum psychosis came forward wanting to testify. The judge ruled their testimony inadmissible. Shavaun addresses what jurors lose when they cannot hear from anyone who has lived through the condition at the center of the defense.

The conversation closes on the hardest question — what does justice look like when every possible outcome is a loss? If Lindsay is convicted, a woman who may have been genuinely psychotic goes to prison. If she is found not criminally responsible, she enters a locked psychiatric facility and the public is left to process a verdict that feels like no one answered for the deaths of three children.

Joseph Duggar’s Wife’s Family Paid THIS for the Truth Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

Here is the question the Joseph Duggar case forces on everyone watching: if a child in your family had been harmed, would you make the call — knowing it could cost you everything? Kendra Duggar’s relatives made that call. And what it cost them is the part of this story people cannot stop talking about.

The background, fast. Joseph Duggar, thirty-one, faces two felony counts in Florida, one classified as a life felony involving a child who was nine in 2020. He has pleaded not guilty. According to the arrest affidavit, he admitted the conduct to the girl’s father and again to detectives. His parents paid the bond and brought him home to Arkansas.

The people who reported him are the Caldwells — the family of Joseph’s wife, Kendra. Her father is a Baptist pastor. They did the thing this family has never done: they trusted the law instead of the household. And almost immediately, the ground opened under them.

This one is about the cost of doing the right thing inside a family that runs on loyalty. Four counts and four children. A set of exterior locks. A home lost, a job gone, and one more loss that lands harder than both combined.

What that final loss is, you will find in the video.

Lindsay Clancy's Doctors Changed Her Brain With THIS Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The defense in the Lindsay Clancy case says she did everything right. She reported symptoms. She went to appointments. She took the medication. She asked for help. And the system responded with thirteen prescriptions in four months from five providers who allegedly never talked to each other.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to walk through the clinical timeline. Patrick Clancy told his wife's providers she was ten thousand times worse on Seroquel. Their response was to raise the dose. Lindsay called a suicide hotline and was told she did not qualify because she had no specific plan. She checked into McLean Hospital on New Year's Eve and waited three days before a clinician saw her.

The malpractice lawsuit describes a system where each provider held a piece of the puzzle and nobody assembled it. A nurse practitioner allegedly never returned a follow-up call. A seventeen-minute virtual appointment the day before the killings ended with a dosage increase. Nobody pulled a complete medication history. Nobody identified the bipolar disorder that a forensic evaluation would later confirm.

Shavaun explains what revolving-door prescribing does to someone in psychiatric crisis, why the system is structured to produce exactly this kind of failure, and the question the audience keeps asking — if she did everything they told her to do, who is actually responsible for what happened?

Lindsay Clancy Had THIS And No One Even Tested For It Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

Lindsay Clancy's trial has begun in Plymouth Superior Court. She is charged with three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of her children Cora, Dawson, and Callan in January 2023. Her defense attorney does not deny she killed them. He argues postpartum psychosis made her not criminally responsible.

Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to lay out the clinical spectrum the jury needs to understand. Eighty percent of new mothers experience baby blues. Roughly one in seven gets postpartum depression. One or two per thousand get postpartum psychosis. The public treats these as the same condition on a sliding scale. They are not even the same category of illness.

Lindsay was diagnosed with Bipolar I disorder after the killings — not before. Her providers had considered the possibility but never confirmed it. When antidepressants are prescribed to a patient with undiagnosed bipolar disorder, the drugs themselves can trigger mania and psychosis. The medication meant to help may have pushed her further into crisis. Her providers allegedly documented her reports of a commanding voice as intrusive thoughts — two clinically distinct experiences with very different implications for treatment and for the insanity defense.

The prosecution will argue Lindsay was coherent on January 24 — she took Cora to the pediatrician, played in the snow, ordered dinner. Shavaun explains how both of those realities can coexist in the same person on the same day.

What Happens To Nolan Wells' Friends In A Grand Jury Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The Nolan Wells investigation is headed for a grand jury. The reaction was instant — everyone assumed an arrest is imminent. The DA's office corrected that assumption the same day: Jackson County sends every unresolved death through a grand jury. The referral alone tells you nothing about whether investigators believe a crime took place.

That correction barely landed. This episode walks through the Mississippi grand jury process — how it operates, what power it carries, and why the people who shared a boat with Nolan on the Fourth of July may be facing a legal mechanism they cannot navigate from the outside.

Mississippi grand juries meet in sealed sessions. Witnesses enter individually. They take an oath. They answer questions posed by the prosecutor. Their attorney waits outside. After all testimony is heard, every non-juror leaves the room. The panel votes in isolation, and members are legally barred from discussing what happened inside for at least six months.

The panel can charge, clear, or shelve the case. Each path unfolds without any obligation to tell the public why. But beyond those dispositions, the grand jury holds subpoena authority — it can order the production of records, demand phone data, and summon specific people to testify. No press conference can substitute for what happens when a witness sits in that room alone, under oath, facing questions with legal consequences for dishonesty.

The two competing accounts of Nolan's last hours — whether he planned to leave with his friends or chose to remain on the island — have never been tested in any formal setting. A grand jury could change that. But the timing depends on when the sheriff's investigation wraps, and critical evidence — autopsy results, cellphone forensics — is still outstanding. What those jurors see depends entirely on what is finished by the time the case reaches them.
