215 - This is the #1 key to getting MOMENTUM Aug 01, 2024
    Show notes

Since the beginning of the year, we’ve been on a mission to help more entrepreneurs build businesses that allow them to live a balanced life. We initially thought the key was giving our members one thing to focus on each month through our live coaching sessions. While this provided clarity, it also led to overwhelm as members felt they had to prioritize every aspect of their business equally. That's when we introduced the Un-Boring Business Roadmap to provide a clear sequence for tackling business tasks, which was a game changer.

However, our thinking evolved further this year. We realized that to build a calm, profitable business, you need to focus on what we call the Calm Business Trifecta: 1) an irresistible offer that you can sell with repeatable launches; 2) an engaged audience grown with a sustainable content system; and 3) a peaceful daily schedule grounded in an 'enough' mindset.

We believe that if you narrow your focus to having a successful launch of your core offer, everything else will fall into place. This approach not only helps you build momentum but also ensures that all the important elements—like a great offer, knowing your audience, and building a list—are working together in harmony.

In this episode, we share a story from the early days of Made Vibrant, where Caroline was constantly creating new products instead of capitalizing on successful launches. This scattered approach led to more effort and LESS profit, the opposite of what we aim for.

By focusing on repeatable launches with Wandering Aimfully, we found clarity and control, leading to increased profitability and a sense of momentum. If you're a business owner feeling overwhelmed and directionless, tune in to learn why making calm launching the center of your focus can finally get your head above water.

    214 - 4 tips to never have a FAILED launch again Jul 25, 2024
    Show notes

Have you ever had a product launch flop? If you haven’t but want to avoid ever having a “floppy” launch 😅, this episode has four actionable tips for you.

We know firsthand the excitement and hard work that goes into creating a digital product, but what happens when all that effort leads to disappointment?

In this episode, we're sharing our personal experiences with failed launches, including the lessons learned from a calendar app and a digital magazine called Color Your Soul.

We explore the importance of pre-launch preparation, from creating strategic content to validating your offer with real customer feedback. You'll hear tips about starting your planning six months ahead, using project management tools to stay organized, and understanding customer behavior to ensure your launch is anything but a flop.

This is not about dream selling but about creating a calm, repeatable launch strategy that keeps your well-being intact.

213 - Behind the scenes making our next product Jul 18, 2024
    Show notes

We’re creating our first new product in years and taking you along on the journey behind the scenes! The product is called Calm Launch Formula and it’s a done-for-you online course that helps you plan your next digital product launch using our proven system.

What goes into creating a new product? How is this different than a standard online course? What does “done-for-you” mean and how are we using AI to do all the boring work?

Tune in this week as we share all the details of going from initial idea, to first brainstorm sesh, then dumping the big concepts into a bulleted list, refining that list, building slides in Canva, and then engineering all the AI prompts to do all the work for you (in 15 minutes or less 😱).

We can’t wait to help you have more calm launches in your business using this system and it’ll be the first product we sell outside of WAIM Unlimited in 6 years!

    212 - It’s so hard to get going again Jul 11, 2024
    Show notes

We officially created and posted our very first piece of social content for Teachery 😂. But… there were some mental hurdles when it came time to hit publish and we’re going to share how we worked through those.

If you’ve been following along the past few weeks, we were on a content creation extravaganza and we’ve finally reached PUBLISHING time!

We had some pretty strong resistance to posting and we cover the feelings that came along with that this week. Hopefully, as you listen to this episode, it gives you permission to hit publish/send/upload on something you’ve been holding back on.

Our mantra right now, “good enough is better than not at all!”

    210 - Should you hire a team?? Jun 27, 2024
    Show notes

There is a ton of glamorization when it comes to having a “team” in the online business world. Having employees can be a badge of honor, but is hiring the right fit for you??

In this episode, we share our thoughts on keeping our “team” small and not going down the path of hiring more people. We’re not saying hiring people is bad, but for us, managing people and the stress that comes along with it is not worth it at this time in our businesses.

We DO have a few freelancers we work with on an ongoing basis. It’s a very low-stress and minimal interaction relationship with those people, which feels nice and calm. We’ve experienced having a bigger team before and it was stressssssful 😂.

If you’re thinking about growing your team or hiring freelancers, we hope this episode gives you some food (💩🥪👀) for thought!

209 - Will this content batching plan work?? Jun 20, 2024
    Show notes

Is a CALM content creation plan possible? And can we do it for TWO businesses?? In this episode, we explore our content batching schedule and some of the processes we’re experimenting with this month.

We’ve been on a break from consistently creating social media and video content for nearly 3 years 😬. But, that’s all about to change and we’re getting back on the content creation train for both of our businesses.

How much content are we creating? What does our weekly schedule look like? What is “good enough” looking like for now? Have a listen and get inspired to build your own content creation plan!

    208 - A BIG shift in our content focus Jun 13, 2024
    Show notes

After spending many years with an unfocused audience and nebulous problem we solve, we *THINK* we’ve finally landed on the right answer for our core business…. maybe?

One thing we know for sure, we’ve always operated Wandering Aimfully as generalists. We can help with email marketing, copywriting, branding, etc. Sure, we were always trying to help small business owners who care about being intentional, but that was very unclear and made our lives difficult when it came to positioning ourselves and our core product.

In this episode, we share our NEW content focus, which also presented a more niched-down audience focus too. We hope that hearing us talking it out in real-time can help you to better focus your core audience or problem your business solves.

Lots of (fun) changes coming to our Wandering Aimfully website and content very soon!

    207 - We found a solid article writing process Jun 06, 2024
    Show notes

Last week, we shared a plan of action from an SEO Expert we paid. It included writing articles, competitor pages, and a user-generated content strategy. How did we do with that plan? Tune in to find out!

Writing informative articles is not our favorite thing, BUT, after working on the task for a week we feel like we found a good groove. In this episode, we share the process and the tools that made the writing process much simpler.

We also go over our competitor page strategy and how we used Framer to make the job easier for us.

206 - We hired an SEO strategist for Teachery, here's their plan... May 30, 2024
    Show notes

Are SEO articles even relevant in 2024?? Well, we paid an SEO strategist to give us the answer and we’re going to share their plan of action in this episode.

The report we got back from an SEO Strategist does confirm that keyword-based articles are still working in 2024, especially for SaaS companies like Teachery. From the report, we have a 3-pronged plan of action to take.

Listen as we share that 3-pronged plan and feel free to steal a few ideas based on what we’re going to be working on as our 5-week content extravaganza continues!

And, we WILL be creating SEO-friendly articles for Wandering Aimfully in an upcoming week as well, so stay tuned to hear about that if you run a knowledge-based digital product business.
