Pleasure Principles: How Self-Pleasure Can Enhance Your Wellness Routine May 08, 2023
    Show notes

In this episode, Shira discusses the importance of pleasure in our lives beyond food and how it can impact our behavior and food choices. She shares a personal story about a client who struggles with overeating at night and how they discovered that her lack of intimacy with her partner may be a piece of the puzzle. Today we are talking specifically about self-pleasure, which despite being something every adult has access too and can enjoy is often stigmatized and holds a lot of shame for people. But as Dr. Jolene mentioned in a recent episode, our bodies experience pleasure for a reason! We want to know what products, stimulating stories, or even non-sexual experiences help you bring pleasure back into your wellness routine.
