Kyle Alexander says his initial entry into real estate was because he was 27 working a W2 and thinking about paying into this 401K and not being able to retire until age 65 and wanted something different. He researched and believed real estate could bring in more financially and retire him like others had at age 30-40. Moved to Idaho to do a house hack investment conventionally through a bank on a triplex. Wanted to do his next deal differently as banks are not fun to work with. He saw a Pace ad one day and thought it might be a scam but wanted to try creative as if not a scam would be awesome. He joined SubTo and says it works and it's legit! Was confident he could close his next deal, this 9 unit, due to what he's learned and because of the community support and expertise.This highlighted deal is a seller carry deal on a 9 unit property 50k down, 7 year balloon, and 6.5% interest!

From Zero Real Estate Experience to Winning Investor Mar 04, 2025

John was an architect in training until ran out of money, joined Army and still there, financially knew he needed to do more. He owned one house and wanted to buy another and started looking into Real Estate investing, invested conventionally for a bit and was tapped out at banks, then found Pace on Bigger Pockets and joined SubTo and started creative Real Estate, helped his sister a single Mom by having her move into his basement and she's now thriving and owns a couple of properties of her own, his mission is to be a buyer for domestic violence survivors, single moms, struggling families, veterans & young professionals.
Jordan was the Top Tier transaction coordinator who helped out with John's deal. Her husband followed Pace on Bigger Pockets and 2 years ago they joined SubTo with zero Real Estate experience, She also joined TTTC and she has loved all of the learning and really immersed fully which she says is so important.

The deal they shared is subject-to on a VA loan, pivoted from a wrap to long-term co-living.

Justin's business partner, Eric, was in grad school and became a bio med engineer, married a woman from Brazil and had twins one of which has serious health issues, went into real estate investing with buying/renting Airbnbs and did super well in Florida then joined Gator.
