Stay ConnectedGen X, This is Why is a podcast that re-examines the sometimes bizarre and often scarring media from our shared childhood. Jennie and Amye, sisters and sometimes mortal enemies, are your hosts. Our first stop is Walnut Grove as we take a fresh look at our favorite frontier family (as if we can name another), the Ingalls. There is some seriously weird sh*t in this show that answers a lot of questions…

Welcome!
From the dumpster fire that is 2020, we take a long overdue journey back to 1874 to check in on the Ingalls family. Walk with us through wolf attacks, fires, blizzards, gaslighting, locust swarms, earthquakes, racism, famine, tidal waves and government overreach (some of these may be an exaggeration) as one of us discovers an old nemesis and the other gets brainwashed by Pa.
