Suze Yalof Schwartz is the creator of Unplug Meditation, an in-person studio (as well as an app) that has Los Angeles going nuts. Her career has been amazing. From working in the fashion industry with Anna Wintour, being a makeover specialist on The Oprah Show, and a fashion correspondent on Good Morning America, she eventually hit a point of burnout.

It was then that she was introduced to meditation and it was a game changer. When she moved to LA she expected meditation to be so common that you could just drop into a studio off the street – but she couldn’t find anything. So she built it instead.

Your dream life is going to cost you way less than you think it will – so why are you working so damn hard? You know I’m not against hard work. Hell, it’s half of the name of the show! But so often we focus only on that part of the equation without considering the other half: what’s the finish line? I guarantee you, you’re not as far from your dream life as you think you are, but you may be holding yourself back by moving the finish line over and over again. Pick your destination, go full bore, and take some time to revel in victory before you push the goal post back again. We often feel like we need a hill to climb, so make it the hill of life.
