Amelia Boone is Finding Herself at 40 While Overcoming Injuries Mar 29, 2024
    Show notes

Back by popular request, Amelia Boone joins the podcast for her 4th appearance! Today, Amelia describes herself as an emo teenager trapped in a 40-year old’s body, and is totally cool with that! Beyond that, Amelia says she is finally becoming and making peace with herself, as a whole human outside of athletics. She is a mental health and eating disorder advocate, who shares openly about her struggles and what she has learned along the way.

In this episode we talk about:

-strategies for dealing with running and life struggles

-finding meaning and purpose outside of athletics

    -cold plunges

-creating communities that haven’t existed before: the Golden Girls

-running longevity: maintaining a love of running through injuries and aging
