    Cousin Sal, Dave, and Martin are hanging out in person for the first time in months in the new office as Martin will have to face the cap of consequences and pick his penalty.

    The guys discuss the latest headlines in the NBA, James Harden has never been happier in Philadelphia, Kevin Durant returns for Brooklyn tonight, and the Lakers playoffs chances. Martin thinks the bigger issue than Russell Westbrook’s play on the court is his massive salary.

    Kenny Pickett finally gets his hand-measured and turns out he has small hands for an NFL quarterback. The guys discuss if the NFL combine drills really matter all that much and Martin asks Dave some combine questions including, “what would be your murder weapon of choice?” Then, the guys discuss Dave’s NFL uniform rankings and Sal has some objections to his rankings including the Steelers, which leads to who had yellow pants first?

    The MLB Lockout continues as Martin pitches a strange idea involving baseball players and the Slam Dunk Contest while Dave suggests relegation could help make baseball interesting for fans. The guys close things out with their Picks of the Day and then Martin nervously reaches into the Cap of Consequences.

    Kyler Murray’s Long Letter, Lakers Struggles Continue, NFL Broadcast Crew Shake Ups Feb 28, 2022

    The Extra Points crew is back after taking a week off ; Sal has a PTA meeting going on in his house and Martin explains what it’s like going to Cuba. The guys react to Kyler Murray’s agent putting out a lengthy letter about his situation with the Arizona Cardinals, while Martin thinks it’s childish to scrub your IG of someone and Dave thinks we are living in an era where a select few quarterbacks can dictate what they want to do.

    The guys then discuss the carousel of possible NFL announcing crews and who and what you would want out of a broadcast team, plus somehow Dave wonders what the worst number for a running back is.

    Next, it’s the latest in the NBA as James Harden and the 76ers look like a winning combination but could the Beard’s addition hurt Joel Embiid’s MVP chances? Plus, the Lakers continue to struggle losing two in a row coming out of the All-Star Break as the guys discuss who is more to blame LeBron or Anthony Davis? Plus, which conference is stronger, East or West?

    Then the guys give out their best bets of the day as Cousin Sal’s NCAA tournament bubble watch has begun. Finally, Eddie is angered by the officiating in the Penguins/Rangers game and let’s Dave hear about it. Martin will face the Cap of Consequences on Thursday and who won in golf- Rachel or Sal?

    NBA All-Star Weekend Recap, Frozen Penis at Winter Olympics, Juwan Howard Role in Fight, Who did Tom Brady help keep out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame? Feb 21, 2022

    It’s the first Sunday without football and the Extra Points crew is dealing with it by discussing the biggest story to come out of the Winter Olympics a Finnish Cross-country skier suffered a frozen penis.

    Then, it’s an NBA All-Star Weekend recap as the Extra Points Crew discusses the NBA 75 Greatest Players ceremony and Lebron James’s passive-aggressiveness throughout the weekend. Dave was impressed by Shaq but not so much Machine Gun Kelly. Plus, Sal thinks the bigger the star you jump over in the Dunk Contest the better.

    Next, the guys give their take on the Michigan and Wisconsin basketball fight involving head coach Juwan Howard, Martin explains it wasn’t a punch or a slap but a muffed. The gang doesn’t feel Howard should lose his job but Martin feels he broke a social contract for not shaking hands.

    The Steelers hire Brian Flores on their staff and was there a rift between Tom Brady and Bruce Arians? Plus, the guys discuss who Tom Brady kept out of the Hall of Fame- Donovan McNabb, Matt Ryan, Drew Bledsoe. Finally, they give their best bets for the day.

    Sending Celebrities to the Winter Olympics, Who would win NBA All-Star Game One-on-One, NBA All-Star Game Bets and Sal’s Magic Johnson Betache Feb 18, 2022

    Cousin Sal, Dave and Martin begin the show by discussing how disinterested most fans are right now in the Winter Olympics and how we could solve it. Dave suggests sending celebrities from different countries to compete which seems like a good idea until Sal realizes that Winter Olympic Stars from countries like Norway are the celebrities. This leads to a conversation about new interesting Winter Olympic sports and Dave brags about his ability to throw a football behind his back and how he once beat Ray and the loser had to get a perm and dye it.

    Next, with the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday the guys discuss Team Lebron versus Team Durant; Martin and Dave both like Ja Morant to win MVP. Dave has an idea on how to change the All-Star game with a one-on-one tournament and they discuss who would win. Sal likes to idea of having the Harlem Globetrotters participate in the All-Star Game and also hates betting the game and relives his Magic Johnson Betache.

    The guys discuss if the Los Angeles Lakers will make the playoffs as Martin can’t believe what a disappointing season this has been. Plus, the Knicks downfall has been hard and fast.

    Eddie and Dave argue over who would win in a series between the Penguins and Rangers to the delight of Sal. Plus, was the Rams Super Bowl crowd really that bad?

    Sal, Martin and Dave close out the show with the news the College Football Playoff will be sticking to four teams and on tease Monday’s big guest on Against All Odds!

    Super Bowl Recap, FanDuel Party Crasher, Stafford’s Hall of Fame Case, Who won Valentine’s Day: Martin or Eddie? Feb 16, 2022

    There’s no Super Bowl hangover for the Extra Points crew! Cousin Sal, Dave and Martin are back to discuss the big game and how the spread of course game down to an extra point. The guys recap all the big plays, the MVP and even the halftime show. Then Sal talks about the FanDuel party and running into Martin who somehow got a VIP bracelet.

    Next, now that he’s won a Super Bowl – let the debate begin: is Matthew Stafford a future Hall of Famer? Plus, should Sean McVay take the big TV money and go out on top?

    Dave still thinks Tom Brady may come back and the 49ers would be the perfect spot for him. Then guys discuss what a crazy off-season this is shaping up to be and how Odell’s injury in the Super Bowl was disappointing as he was on his way to a possible MVP.

    After losing the Extra Points Playoff Fantasy league, Martin will have to face the Cup of Consequences and is nervous of what he will have to face. Finally, how did Martin and Eddie fair on Valentine’s Day with their respected girlfriends?

    Super Bowl Picks and Props, Sal Presents at NFL Honors and Aaron Rodgers Suit, A Special Guest Surprises Dave! Feb 11, 2022
    Show notes

    Cousin Sal recaps presenting the Offensive Player of the Year award at the NFL Honors and Martin weighs in on his jokes. Sal worries he may have hugged Cooper Kupp too hard after finding out he has an injured back. Dave was not a fan of Aaron Rodgers's suit choice and thinks he might be intentionally doing these things to upset people. The guys discuss the rest of the NFL award winners and Martin collects from Dave on his Jonathan Taylor MVP bet. They also discuss odds on next year’s NFL season.

    Then it’s finally time for Sal, Martin and Dave to reveal their Super Bowl picks- they all expect a close, low scoring game but who will they go with between the Bengals or Rams? Martin thinks Dave should be worried he has the same bet as Drake.

    A special guest (Doug Rush) joins the show as Sal surprises Dave with an awkward conversation of who should get credit for the Pro-Bowl replacement idea. Doug and Dave eventually realize they have more in common than they think including a love of apples. Doug discusses his thoughts on the New York Giants next season and why Russell Wilson to New York might not work despite Ciara wanting it to happen.

    The guys then go over Super Bowl prop bets and Eddie quizzes then on past Super Bowl lines.

    With huge NBA trade deadline deals, Martin has some strong feelings on who won the James Harden/Ben Simmons trade and odds on who will win the Eastern Conference. Finally, the Extra Points crew makes their picks of the day and Dave asks the filthy questions: whose bath water would you drink from the show?

    Andrew Hawkins on the Bengals Family Business and Joe Burrow, Super Bowl MVP Odds, Brady’s Future with Gisele or 49ers, Winter Olympic sport you’d want to be good at? Feb 09, 2022

    Dave has Super Bowl fever and wants to talk about the legend of Max McGee, who Martin surprisingly remembers as the first player to be a Super Bowl MVP snub. Cousin Sal and the guys discuss if it’s better to place your Super Bowl bets now or wait to see if anything happens in the next few days. Plus, the Cash or Splash Contest is officially up on ExtraPoints.com as the guys discuss how much money you would need to drink Scott’s bath water and Eddie gives a surprising answer.

    Next, the guys talk Super Bowl 56 and if travel matters, the idea that Matthew Stafford has never been in a bigger game while Joe Burrow recently played in the National Championship at LSU as well as MVP odds. Dave doesn’t think a kicker can win MVP but he likes betting the wide receiver position at (+300) to cover both Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr.

    T.J. Houshmandzadeh is trying to get a very old Bengals fan a ticket to the Super Bowl, will he want anything in return? Then Dave thinks Tom Brady to the 49ers could happen and the guys discuss how this could play out; but Martin feels Tom is now committed to Gisele. Dave compares Tom Brady going from a fan at “The Catch” game to quarterback for the 49ers to Jimmy Kimmel going to a taping of David Letterman when Jay Leno was the guest.

    New Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel reminds Cousin Sal of a Nick Kroll character and the guys discuss he’s odd airplane call to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Then former Bengals and Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins joins the show to discuss the frugal ways of the Bengals, what makes Joe Burrow special and why his son may turn down tickets to the Super Bowl.

    The guys wrap up the show with making their best bets and Sal is disappointed that his wife won’t answer his Winter Olympics question, but will Dave and Martin?

    Jim Harbaugh is going back to the University of Michigan and Martin compares his interview with the Minnesota Vikings to his dating life. The guys discuss if Harbaugh was ever really a serious head coaching candidate there as well as other big news in the NFL.

    Next, with the Super Bowl a week away the guys discuss the current line between the Bengals and Rams; Martin has a theory about uniform trends in the Super Bowl. Cousin Sal takes an early look at props including, largest lead of the game, longest touchdown and lowest scoring quarter. Plus, Dave asks the guys which quarterback will appear in the most Super Bowl commercials?

    The Pro-Bowl is this weekend- does anyone still care and which was or is the toughest era to win a Super Bowl? Babyface Joel Solomon puts together a Super Bowl Betting Bonanza Quiz for the guys to compete in.

    Austin Ekeler on the final game of the regular season and Super Bowl thoughts plus the Brian Flores NFL Lawsuit, Washington Commanders and Bengals make Super Bowl uniform official Feb 02, 2022

    Cousin Sal and the Extra Points crew try to unpack a day filled with huge news in the NFL as Martin sees a consistent Tom Brady through line. The guys discuss the Brian Flores/NFL lawsuit, accusations Dolphins owner Stephen Ross offered him money to lose games, the Bill Belichick texts and the lack of minority coaching opportunities in the NFL. Dave thinks people are going to start picking apart the 2019 Miami Dolphins season, analyzing plays and this story won’t be going away.

    Next, the guys weigh in on Washington selecting the Commanders as their new nicknames and everyone is underwhelmed. Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler joins the show and he is also not impressed with the new name in Washington. Austin talks about the final game of the regular season against the Raiders and if he ever thought both teams would play for a tie. Austin talks about playing for an aggressive coach, his confidence in Justin Herbert and his prediction for the Super Bowl.

    The Cincinnati Bengals have decided on which jerseys they will wear for the Super Bowl and The Uniformant has plenty of thoughts. Is T.J. Houshmandzadeh holding a grudge against his old team the Bengals and that’s why he is picking the Rams? Plus, the guys look back at the Kansas City Chiefs terrible second half against the Bengals and what went wrong. They close things out giving their picks of the day and a look at the potential Pro Football Hall of Fame Class in 2027.
