    Show notes

Cousin Sal begins the show surprised that Martin has joined the World craze and is posting his score on Twitter. Now that Ben Roethlisberger has officially retired, Dave gives his thoughts on the Steelers legend and has a response for everyone who is saying Ben is problematic.

Then with all the new coaching hires, the guys discuss where Aaron Rodgers may potentially go; Broncos, Eagles, Saints and if he would ever go to the AFC instead of the NFC? Dave thinks there is one team that could be a surprise to everyone that has a chance.

Former Minnesota Vikings great Jared Allen joins the show to discuss if he would put a mullet on his Hall of Fame bust, wanting an interview to coach the Vikings and how he would have coached the final seconds of the Bills/Chiefs game.

Then Jared Allen weighs in on if the Vikings should bring in Aaron Rodgers, the all-time sack record and sacking Johnny Knoxville in Jackass 3. Dave pitches Jared his idea for an alternative to the Pro-Bowl; the two worst teams playing for the number one pick. Plus, Jared Allen gives his Super Bowl prediction and if he would fight Mike Tyson.

Next, the guys finally make their picks for the AFC and NFC Championship game. Martin is still a believer in the Bengals and can the 49ers beat the Rams for a third time this season?

Finally, the guys give their Extra Points Stone Cold Stunner predictions as Cousin Sal predicts something happening in the NFC Championship we’ve never seen before.

    Show notes

Today is the 19th Anniversary of the first episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live as Cousin Sal and Dave begin the show by remembering the craziness of the first episode. Martin reacts to the news of Sean Payton stepping down as the Saints head coach by putting a brown bag over his head as he worries the Saints will go back to being irrelevant. Then, the guys discuss what was the biggest overreaction from the NFL weekend and Sal doesn’t like the idea of a “feels like '' temperature. A look at Super Bowl MVP odds and Martin has changed his tune on wanting Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback of his team.

Next, it’s 49ers @ Packers as Dave says the most pressure of the weekend is on Aaron Rodgers and Martin thinks Rodgers could pull a LeBron if he brings another title to Green Bay. Then the guys discuss Rams @ Bucs (-3) as a much different Rams team tries to take out the defending champions.

Finally, it’s the game of the weekend Bills @ Chiefs – will the guys finally disagree on a game? Dave wants to talk “What if?” when it comes to Aaron Rodgers losing his one Super Bowl and how it could have changed the NFL landscape.
