Show notes

A very strange situation unfolded yesterday as someone posted screenshots of Mateer’s Venmo account from his time at Washington State, with a few transactions made labeled ‘sports betting,’ including a specific one of UCLA/USC

Mateer has been adamant that he hasn’t done any sports betting and the Venmo account has been scrubbed clean…but who is out looking for this stuff anyways?

Who gets to claim Adrian Martinez….Nebraska or Kansas State? Aug 12, 2025

Show notes

Terrell Farley asked us this question in a commercial break yesterday, and it raised a good conversation. Martinez spent 4 years as Nebraska’s starting QB, but transferred to Kansas State for one season to end his career

If Nebraska is going to claim one year transfer players as their own, why shouldn’t we say the same for Adrian going to KSU?
