0:00 Introduction: How to stop vertigo

0:15 Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)

    1:59 What causes vertigo?

    3:20 Vitamin D3 and vertigo

    4:55 Magnesium and vertigo

    5:50 Natural vertigo relief

6:20 Epley maneuver for vertigo at home

Today, I’m going to show you how to get rid of vertigo for good. The most common type of vertigo is known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, or BPPV. This type of vertigo is caused by tiny calcium crystals that have broken off and migrated to the incorrect part of the ear, resulting in dizziness and spinning sensations.

There are tiny hairs in the ear connected to nerves that pick up information and send it to your brain. A gel keeps this area sensitive, and calcium crystals act as weights in the gel to enhance its effectiveness.

Calcium-binding proteins hold the calcium in the gel, which is regulated by vitamin D3. Many people with vertigo are extremely deficient in vitamin D!

Vitamin D controls 2,400 different genes and is essential for immune function, healthy blood pressure levels, and acts as a potent anti-inflammatory agent. There is a tremendous amount of research supporting the use of vitamin D3 as an effective remedy for vertigo. Still, some research does not utilize nearly enough vitamin D. To prevent vertigo, you need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily.

Vitamin D does not work without magnesium. Magnesium is one of the master controllers of calcium, so a combination of vitamin D3 with magnesium is one of the best things you can do for vertigo.

Vitamin K2 tells the body where to put calcium, and without enough, you can end up with calcium in the wrong places.

For long-term vertigo relief, take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily, with magnesium and vitamin K2. This problem could take a couple of weeks or more to address, so in the meantime, the Epley maneuver can provide immediate vertigo relief.

0:00 Introduction: Your morning routine and liver health

1:21 Insulin resistance and liver function in the morning

    2:12 All-American breakfast side effects

4:41 Liver damage and high insulin

7:20 Breakfast and liver health tips

    8:32 More health tips

What if I told you that eating breakfast is one of the worst things you can do for your liver health?

At night, when you sleep, you’re fasting! Your liver releases stored glucose and enters a repair mode called autophagy while you sleep, and when you eat breakfast, you interrupt this process. Your insulin levels are lowest in the morning, and fat-burning is directly linked to low insulin levels.

Eggs and bacon are a good breakfast, but most people consume more carbs, which stimulates insulin production. Breakfast for most people includes foods such as sweetened yogurt, juice, cereal, pancakes, waffles, muffins, toast, jelly, hash browns, and more! This creates a massive blood sugar spike, setting you up for a day full of blood sugar swings.

Many people eat eggs and bacon with their carbs and assume it’s fine as long as they’re getting protein. Although protein can help lower blood sugar, it does not reduce insulin levels.

Chronic high insulin can have the following effects on your liver and overall health:

    • Inability to burn fat

    • Keeps the body in fat-storing mode

    • Sodium retention

    • Increased hunger

    • Inflammation

    • Visceral fat

    • Iron retention

    • Halts ketosis

    • Fibrosis of the liver

    • Increased androgens

    • Fatigue

    • Nighttime urination

    • Increased cortisol

The best breakfast is no breakfast! Eating two meals per day with no snacks and following a keto diet forces your body to use ketones for energy, so you can easily go from one meal to the next without being hungry. When I stopped eating breakfast, I noticed improved mental capacity and mood, and I immediately lost weight!

Try eliminating carbs from your breakfast and diet, and don’t eat in the morning if you’re not hungry. Keep pushing your first meal closer to lunch time until your body adjusts. This will be incredibly beneficial for your liver health.

The One Omega-3 That Builds Your Brain (It's Not Fish Oil) Jan 24, 2026
    Show notes

The best omega-3 for your brain isn’t fish oil. Discover the neuroprotective omega-3 that’s been used for over 200 years for a variety of ailments, and as a potent source of vitamins A and D. Improve brain health and more with this powerful oil!

👉 Download Dr. Berg's Free Daily Health Routine: https://drbrg.co/45qtO07

0:00 Introduction: The best omega-3 for brain health

    0:49 Cod liver oil benefits

    1:00 DHA and brain health

    1:35 What is DHA?

6:23 Omega-3 benefits for immune function

Cod liver oil has historically been used for conditions such as tuberculosis and rickets, and has shown remarkable benefits in preventing deadly infections and supporting wound healing. In the early 1900s, the vast majority of remedies were natural.

Cod liver oil benefits go far beyond its omega-3, vitamin A, and vitamin D content. Check out the following unique properties and benefits of cod liver oil!

    1. Cod liver oil matches the brain

The DHA and EPA ratio in cod liver oil closely matches the omega-3 fatty acid ratio in your brain. Cod liver oil is high in DHA, while fish oil is higher in EPA. This is good for inflammation, but DHA is better for the brain, eyes, mitochondria, and immune system. DHA is an essential structural fat in the brain that’s vital for nerve cell function and communication. It also strengthens the membranes of the mitochondria.

    2. Alkylglycerol

This compound is not found in fish oil. Alkylglycerol is naturally present in bone marrow and helps regulate the immune system and supports the production of antibodies.

    3. Seed oils compete with key fats in cod liver oil

Seed oils are high in omega-6 fatty acids, while cod liver oil is high in omega-3s. The average American consumes 20% to 25% of their calories from seed oils, which build up in the body’s membranes over time. Because these two fats compete, cod liver oil can help mitigate the damage of seed oil consumption.

    4. Cardiolipin

This compound helps you make energy, but it’s dependent on DHA.

    5. CoQ10

This supports the heart and is a necessary building block for energy.

    6. Gut immune system

Vitamin A in cod liver oil can help prevent a leaky gut, and supports the body's internal mucosal layers.

    7. Vitamins D & K2

Vitamin D supports immune function and structural calcium for strong bones. Cod liver oil also contains vitamin K2, which protects you from developing too much calcium in the blood.

You can also consume cod liver for all the amazing benefits of cod liver oil.

0:00 Introduction: No carbs and no sugar foods

    0:17 Carbohydrates explained

2:00 7 foods with no sugar or carbs

5:05 Countering the effects of sugar with the healthiest foods

The average person in the US consumes 67% of their calories in the form of carbohydrates. There are three types of carbohydrates: sugar, fiber, and starch. Starch is often worse than sugar!

There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. It’s often thought that the brain needs glucose, but the brain can also run on ketones. Your body can produce all the glucose you need from non-carbohydrate sources.

Here are 7 foods with no carbs and zero sugar to add to your diet today:

    1. Fat

The healthiest choices are butter, ghee, cod liver oil, olive oil, and coconut oil. Fats have zero carbs, so they do not spike insulin. High insulin is behind most chronic illnesses.

    2. Meat

Choose high-quality beef, pork, lamb, chicken, or fish for healthy foods with no sugar and no carbs.

    3. Organ meats

Meat and organ meat are the most nutrient-dense foods, with virtually no carbs and no sugar.

    4. Eggs

Eggs have virtually zero sugar and carbs. Egg yolks contain the active form of vitamin A, choline, B vitamins, trace minerals, and essential nutrients for the eyes.

    5. Shellfish

Shellfish contain an insignificant amount of carbs and are packed with nutrients and trace minerals like selenium and zinc.

    6. Raw cheese

Raw cheese is an excellent source of protein and contains many important nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus. Sheep or goat cheese is best.

    7. Vegetables

Watercress, mushrooms, spinach, arugula, swiss chard, bok choy, kale, zucchini, celery, cucumber, and cauliflower are great options. Vegetables contain a minuscule amount of carbs and will not spike blood sugar. Herbs are also great!

Focusing on incorporating these 7 zero-sugar foods helps support wellness.

    6:34 Colon cells

    8:21 Fasting and colon cancer

    9:19 Cancer prevention tips

10:04 Rotating diet for colon cancer

Cancer is a unique disease and has the following characteristics:

    1. Heterogeneous

    2. Sick and living on the edge

    3. Metabolically inflexible

    4. Originates from damaged mitochondria

Insulin resistance is one of the most significant contributors to cancer risk. Insulin resistance can lead to metabolic inflexibility. Cancer also migrates to areas of inflammation.

Microbiome disruption damages the microbes that protect the body against cancer. Toxicity caused by alcohol, smoking, and pesticides can also increase the risk of cancer.

When you combine these risk factors, you significantly increase your risk of developing cancer.

Colon cells get their fuel from a compound called butyrate, which is produced when a microbe consumes fiber. Butyrate strengthens the colon's lining, supports its function, and has potent anti-inflammatory properties. Fiber has protective properties against cancer, but if your gut microbiome is compromised, it can make matters worse.

The more advanced the cancer you have, the more you’ll need to do prolonged fasting. This stresses the cancer cells and deprives them of fuel. The fasting-mimicking diet is also beneficial. If you haven’t been diagnosed with cancer, periodic prolonged fasting can help with prevention. High doses of vitamin D3, sun exposure, and oxygen are also protective against cancer.

A rotating diet is an incredible tool for cancer prevention. Focus on consuming key nutrients, including vitamin D3, zinc, omega-3 fatty acids, polyphenols, turmeric, cruciferous vegetables, herbs, spices, green tea, and fermented vegetables.

The Burning You Feel in Your Feet is NOT a Nerve Problem Jan 19, 2026
    Show notes

Do your feet feel like they are on fire? It may not be your nerves. Burning feet is not a nerve problem! Uncover the real cause of tingling, burning feet to finally fix burning feet pain for good!

Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements.

👉 Unlock Dr. Berg's Free Daily Routine: https://drbrg.co/45qtO07

Burning feet is known as neuropathy, and is typically classified as a disease of the nerves. But the tingling, burning, and numbness in your feet is not a nerve problem!

The real problem behind burning feet is the blood vessels supplying the nerves. Blood vessels supply the nerves with fuel, oxygen, and nutrients, and without this, they become very irritated. The root cause of the problem is your blood sugar. Years of high blood glucose destroy your circulation.

It may seem counterintuitive that there would be a shortage of fuel at the nerve level despite an excess in the blood, but this is the basis of insulin resistance. For relief of burning feet, it’s vital to address insulin resistance rather than just managing the symptoms.

There are many mitochondria in the nervous system. They act as the engines that take in fuel and power the nerves. If you have access to the mitochondria, you get 32 units of energy currency per glucose molecule. As a survival mechanism, your body utilizes glycolysis, which generates significantly less energy. This process also produces toxic byproducts, which can irritate your nerves.

Vitamin B1 can help you switch from glycolysis back to generating energy from the mitochondria. This is because high blood glucose levels deplete vitamin B1 in your tissues.

Vitamin B1 is normally water-soluble, which won’t effectively penetrate the nerve. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 that can help fix burning feet, eliminate toxic byproducts of glycolysis, and reduce other complications associated with diabetes. It also helps support the nerves in the eyes, kidneys, arteries, and brain.

Burning feet and other symptoms of chronic health conditions take 20 to 30 years to develop. Modern medicine does not address the root cause of these issues and does not focus on lifestyle changes, diet, or nutrition.

To fix burning feet pain at the root, try the following:

    1. Benfotiamine

    2. Reduce sugar consumption, keep carbs below 30 grams per day

    3. Avoid snacking

    4. Increase foods high in magnesium and potassium

    5. Alpha-lipoic acid

If You're Waking Up to Pee, It's Not Your Bladder Jan 16, 2026
    Show notes

Nocturia, or frequent nighttime urination, destroys sleep, which can create a cascade of health issues. Discover how to sleep better and resolve your nighttime urination problems for good by addressing the root cause.

0:00 Why do I wake up to pee at night?

    0:27 Sleep disruption pee

1:57 Waking up to pee causes

5:48 Avoiding frequent urination at night

    7:05 How to sleep better

If you’re dealing with frequent urination at night, the problem is not your bladder. Waking up to pee, even just once, can wreck your sleep and wreak havoc on your health.

Some of the consequences of poor sleep are as follows:

    • Slower metabolism

    • Increased cortisol

    • Increased risk of type 2 diabetes

    • Insulin resistance

    • Increased risk of high blood pressure

    • Decreased ability to detoxify the brain

    • Poor mood, anxiety, and depression

    • Decreased cognitive function, focus, and memory

    • Lower testosterone

    • Feeling tired all day

Approximately 1 in 5 men and 1 in 4 women in the U.S. get up at least once or twice to urinate every night, and aging is not the problem!

Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) plays a crucial role in preventing excessive urination. A problem with this hormone affects water balance, causing you to produce more urine, especially at night. Too much salt and not enough potassium, blood sugar issues, and insulin resistance all affect ADH and can cause you to produce more urine to eliminate excess salt and sugar.

Other factors that affect ADH include:

    • Caffeine

    • Sugar/starch

    • Excess protein

    • Alcohol

Vitamin B1 and magnesium are key nutrients involved with bladder control. If you’re dealing with nighttime urination and only a small volume of urine comes out, suspect a deficiency in one of these nutrients.

To sleep better and reduce frequent urination at night, try the following tips: • Avoid alcohol

    • No fluids 3 hours before bed

    9:20 Selenium toxicity

Eating two Brazil nuts daily is one of the cheapest ways to create a massive impact on your health. Many of the foods we eat deplete selenium, but just two Brazil nuts per day provide 1000% of the RDA. That’s around 135 to 180 mcg of selenium.

Selenium is a trace mineral that works in conjunction with enzymes to support hair growth. It increases the protein in hair called keratin. However, that’s not all. Selenium also offers significant immune system benefits!

Selenium is vital for fertility and protects the cells in the testicles that produce testosterone and sperm. It also supports the health of the ovaries.

Selenium supports the T-helper cell, which is vital for the function of your immune system. Without sufficient selenium, you become highly vulnerable to infections, pathogens, cancer, and other immune system issues. Selenium also supports the TH1/TH2 ratio, helps control immune reactions, and helps to prevent autoimmune diseases. A deficiency in both vitamin D and selenium can have serious consequences for your immune system.

Selenium helps build up glutathione, the body's master antioxidant. This potent antioxidant protects the liver and membranes in the body.

The selenium in Brazil nuts has even more benefits and supports the following:

    • Skin health

    • Normal insulin production

    • Liver health

    • Mitochondrial health and function

    • Anxiety prevention

Brazil nut trees grow in the Amazon and are around 500 to 1000 years old. They have extremely deep roots, which pull in nutrients and additional trace minerals that you can’t get at the superficial level. Brazil nuts are also an excellent source of copper, magnesium, and manganese.

Selenium toxicity is rare, but it could occur if you consume 10 to 20 Brazil nuts every day for several months.
