What are the dangers of self-diagnosis? Feb 15, 2026
    Show notes

The chances are that at some point you’ve scoured the internet in an attempt to figure out why you’re feeling sick. Maybe you go to Dr Google as a matter of habit any time you’re in discomfort or pain. Indeed, back in 2019, Google Heatlh Vice President David Feinberg told the Telegraph that 7% of all Google searches related to health, adding up to an incredible 70,000 every minute.

But there are dangers to self-diagnosing. A lot of people rely heavily on social media, online forums, or even AI tools like ChatGPT as their primary sources for self-diagnosis. But there are various reasons why people choose to search for health-related information online. For example, it's free and can be done around the clock without needing to book an appointment.

Isn’t it obvious that seeing a doctor is a better idea than doing that? Could someone miss a serious medical condition due to incorrect self-diagnosis? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

What’s the function of the perineum? Feb 15, 2026
    Show notes

The perineum is a group of muscles that works like a hammock, stretching from the pubic bone to the tailbone. To pinpoint its location, try coughing; you’ll feel a downward pressure in your lower abdomen.

It provides support for your internal organs, like the rectum and bladder, and for women, the vagina and uterus. It also absorbs physical impact. For example, when you run, the increased abdominal pressure puts stress on the perineum, which can absorb shocks equal to four times your body weight. In men, it also plays a role in maintaining erections.

How can I know if my perineum isn’t as strong as it should be? And if my perineum is in good shape? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

    What is Valentine's Day? Feb 14, 2026
    Show notes

This annual celebration of love and passion needs no introduction. Among those who partake in Valentine's Day, you’ve got those who go all out every year, never failing to honour the occasion and make sure everyone knows about it. Then there are others who prefer a quiet romantic night in with their partner.

At the other end of the scale, some people sulk instead, telling anyone who’ll listen just how pointless or old-fashioned the whole thing is. In modern times, Valentine’s Day is certainly a highly commercialised holiday, but believe it or not, its origins go back nearly 2000 years and are influenced by Pagan and Christian rituals.

So who is this Saint Valentine anyway? Wait a minute, he was executed and now he's celebrated? How did the Valentine's Day traditions evolve from then? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

What is the triangular theory of love? Feb 14, 2026
    Show notes

Love is without doubt one of the most fascinating and elusive topics in human psychology. You might have wondered at some point just what it is that makes romantic relationships work, and whether there are objective criteria that help.

As we delve into the realm of human emotions and relationships, let’s discuss the Triangular Theory of Love. It was proposed by American psychologist Robert Sternberg in 1986, while he was teaching at Yale University. It actually went viral on Tiktok earlier this year, with the Triangular Theory of Love hashtag reaching over 850,000 views

Is it anything to do with a love triangle ? What if a relationship has more of one component than the other two ? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

What are 3 sex tips to give your relationship a boost? Feb 13, 2026
    Show notes

You might or might not be surprised to learn that warm weather naturally enhances the libido. According to a 2022 survey by the Kinsey Institute, 60% of Americans report that spring is the season when they most want to get under the duvet with their partner.

It all comes down to hormones. Light and warmth naturally stimulates our serotonin production, a mood-enhancing chemical. Additionally, it also increases testosterone production, a key player in libido. Light also activates the pineal gland, which regulates our sleep-wake cycles, further improving our mood. As a result, we become more pleasant and engaged in our relationships with others.

Why is this? So how do you boost your libido when the weather is not good? What's the second tip? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

What's the best way to argue with friends and family? Feb 13, 2026
    Show notes

Whether it starts over a sock left on the floor or a political debate that erupts a little too early at the holiday table, conflict is part of life. It’s not that we argue all the time, it’s that these moments stick with us.

Sometimes they clear the air and help us grow; sometimes they shut us down and leave resentment simmering for years. So it’s worth knowing how to argue well.

What actually makes something an argument? Do we really need to tell our loved ones everything? Can arguing be a sign of love? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

Could the five-minute coffee check-in save your relationship? Feb 13, 2026
    Show notes

Feeling disconnected from a partner is a common problem in romantic relationships. According to a survey by McCain Foods in 2018, it affects 60% of all people in a relationship. Even worse, 15% of respondents admitted to spending more time interacting with celebrities on social media than with their partner.

This sense of disconnection often stems from a lack of communication within the relationship. So today we’re going to tell you about a technique that may just help in that respect: the “five-minute coffee check-in”. Indeed Aston Simmonds, the Australian relationship coach who created it, credited it with saving her from divorce.

What exactly does the "coffee check-in" entail? How often should my partner and I be having coffee check-ins then? Does the coffee check-in really work then? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

What is the Romeo and Juliet effect? Feb 12, 2026
    Show notes

When someone tells you not to do something it often becomes even more tempting, which is why, as a teenager, when your parents forbade you from seeing a certain boyfriend or girlfriend you felt even more passionate about them. Now psychologist have looked into what causes this so-called ‘Romeo and Juliet effect’.

Psychologists at the University of Colorado chose the name of Shakespeare's play following an experiment which was conducted in 1972. In the sixteenth-century play, the two protagonists, fall in love despite coming from different sides of a feuding families.

    What’s the Tinder Paradox ? Feb 12, 2026
    Show notes

It’s a quiet Sunday evening, and you’re scrolling through Tinder, swiping left and right. Unlike the endless upward scroll of social networks, Tinder feels more like a slot machine. Swipe, swipe, and then — ding ! A match. A new game begins. But will this match lead to a true love story? Probably not. And that’s the crux of what digital scientist Aurélie Jean calls the Tinder paradox.

Aurélie Jean argues that these platforms aren’t designed to help you find love — because if they succeeded, you’d stop using them. Instead, they operate on simplistic matching algorithms that fail to capture the complexity of human relationships.

But isn’t it true that many couples meet on Tinder? Why are so many users dissatisfied with dating apps? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!

Could date stacking really help me find love? Feb 12, 2026
    Show notes

Looking for love in this day and age can be a time-consuming and draining process. More often than not, it involves downloading one or more dating apps, swiping through profile after profile, chatting for a while and then finally actually meeting up if it gets that far.

It can feel like a bit of a crap shoot, and when things don’t lead anywhere, that can be disheartening. Well, a trend called date stacking might be the answer to that problem. It’s been getting a fair amount of attention online recently, since Tiktokker Paretay posted a video account of her experience, which has been liked over 5,000 times.

What does it involve then? Is date stacking similar to speed dating then? Isn't it hard to keep up after a while? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions!
