Show notes

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME once again three more times to your weekly dose of Distraction Pieces Podcast in mp3 format from up in the sky somewhere directly to your earpieces! This week your host Scroobius Pip is joined by none other than his old pal and script/screenwriter Kelly Marcel!A crazy story right here which Kelly unfolds for you, not before she relays how she rescued a fearless but accident prone squirrel and nursed it back to bitey and aggro health... From her days back in the book corner at school (a punishment area, not for recreation) up to her days in the video store hanging with a then fairly green Tom Hardy, and her reasons for ending up there which involved a not so supportive school system, hear how she became a full on fully qualified silver screen smash through various acting jobs (of COURSE The Bill is involved!), up to her crossing paths with the director of all directors himself Stephen Spielberg. The story gets no less intense or full on from there on, as she barrels through such...

James Buckley - Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip #144 Mar 28, 2017

Show notes

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME (three in a row, no commas) to another slammer of an episode of the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip! A proper jolly episode it is too, as Pip is joined by James Buckley, or as you may know him, Jay from The Inbetweeners! Or indeed any other given name of one of his many roles on television...Pip was introduced to James via his DrunkCast (and real life) mate Stu Whiffen, and here we are in the room with the two, kicking it like old mates - a nice and broad-ranging conversation, hitting on The Inbetweeners as you would expect and demand, playing young Del Boy in Rock & Chips, his own computer gaming Youtube channel 'Completed It Mate' and how he started and developed it all, his life out in Los Angeles and the myriad weirdness within, and being an actor in general. Race relations...
