Star City in 2046 leads our gang to find the one-armed Oliver Queen as Snart finds himself forced to take some, ahem, uncool measures when Mick decides to stay in the future and lead a gang. Meanwhile, Professor Stein cock blocks Jax a few times while Sara and Rip argue about whether it's unethical to leave Star City the way it is sense they're planning on changing the future anyway.

Legends of Tomorrow 1x05 - Fail-Safe | Review Feb 22, 2016

Show notes

WARNING: SPOILERS/NSFW - Legends of Tomorrow 1x05 - Fail-Safe | Review - Ray gets a strange kinda hug from Mick, and a Soviet scientist has a 4-minute orgasm while on fire! Snart remains the absolute best part of the show while Hawkgirl and Jax continue to falter. In the sack-up category this week, we have Ray Palmer and Martin Stein! We would put Snart and Mick in that category, but they never have to sack-up. They're already there. Rip Hunter continues to make confusing and terrible leadership decisions, but the show remains fun for the most part! There is of course some disagreement between us about how fun the show is... What do you think?

Arrow 4x14 - Code of Silence | Review Feb 22, 2016

Show notes

WARNING: SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN #114 - Arrow 4x14 - Code of Silence | Review - Mayoral debates and paternity lies! Woo-boy, things are a-brewin' now! Thea, in a surprise move, takes the once-standard Diggle approach of advising Oliver to be dishonest to Felicity while Felicity defends Captain Lance's dishonesty to Donna as "trying to protect you". Sigh. Oh, and there are mayoral debates and bombs and Demolition Team... Oh, and a magic chip that ... well, let's just say it out-does a certain Dark Knight's knee brace...

The Flash 2x14 - Escape From Earth-2 | Review Feb 22, 2016

Show notes

WARNING: SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN Podcast #113 - The Flash 2x14 - Escape From Earth-2 | Review - This week it's good vibrations and two earths for every Flash... okay, so not so much. Just as the plot is supposed to thicken, it thins... and suddenly it appears that some very beloved writers have found themselves written into a corner. It happens. We aren't angry. Just confused and hurt. Anyway, Geomancer continues to be terrible, and while there are some genuinely wonderful lines throughout this episode, it is a very weak follow-up to Welcome to Earth-2. It isn't often you hear us bitch about The Flash. Come one. Come all.

Lucifer 1x04 - Manly Whatnots | Review Feb 22, 2016

Show notes

WARNING: SPOILERS/NSFW - DC on SCREEN Podcast #112 - Lucifer 1x04 - Manly Whatnots | Review - Can Lucifer's manly whatnots save him from banality? Well, that depends on which of us you ask. While Manly Whatnots might be a step in the right direction (it was a very small step), fears remain unquelled as to whether this piddling Fox drama can get its head out of its own ass before it gets canned. Even Lucifer's charm and wisecracks grow tiresome this episode. Here's hoping Lucifer finds a fresh angle in this stale hell.
