    Episode 297 - The Blue Hit Feb 05, 2011
    Show notes

Edgar Just of Dot To Dot Management brought in this most amazing Trio from Austin, Texas. John Mc Gee, Grace Park, and David Moss make up this dynamic Trio. Their sound not what you would expect coming out of Austin, but when you hear this show you will be very, very glad that you have heard their unique blend of Folk, World, and yes, I'll say it, their own "Blue Hit" sound.Enjoy this show as you will hear me enjoy recording it.Peace Out,Michael Teach, Founder/Host, CAU

    Episode 296 - Adam Percy Feb 04, 2011
    Show notes

Adam came to us through an Open Mic we sponsored at the Goose Island Brewery where he blew away the packed house with his performance. He went on to perform at many venues in Chicago and has now migrated to Nashville and is wowing the crowds there.Adam is a singer/songwriter in the tradition of Harry Chapin, Jackson Brown, and many others of that era, but his sound and lyrics are topical to today's World. He is most certainly one of the best that we have recorded on CAU.We miss you Adam and we would love to book you at one of our CAU Showcases here in Chicago. Come see us real soon.By the way, this is another recovered show from a hard disk crash.

    Episode 293 - Molehill Jan 29, 2011
    Show notes

Catchy hooks coupled with sophisticated songwriting. Molehill's eclectic mix of influences gives them a sound that is accessible to audiences but not played out. After winning a 30-band battle of the bands in Chicago and Northwest Indiana, Molehill released their debut album, Rock Mole, in late 2007. The album presents a mixture of songs each with its own style, and somehow ties these styles together into one cohesive thread. In 2008, Molehill continued to pick up steam, by playing countless Chicago and Midwestern venues, and having feature articles in 2 Chicago magazines. They also had 2 live songs on Comcast On-Demand, and opened for internationally-touring act Blind Melon. The members of Molehill are actively involved in music throughout the country and also abroad. They have performed with artists such as Lew Soloff, Zach Brock, Chris Greene, Mwata Bowden, The Redwalls, and Galen Butler. Their performances have taken them to Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), and Symphony Center in Chicago, as well as Germany, France, Wales, Belgium, and Switzerland. With a solid musical background, and a reputation for explosive live performances, the band never takes a night off, and the fans always leave satisfied.
