The answer is yes. And for our host Catt Sadler, it all began with the cutting of the birthday cake. In an extremely intimate and somewhat surprising conversation they reflect on their first meeting, their choice to make peace and co-parent amicably, and share all of the key ingredients that have made this modern, happy, blended family possible. Shout out to Kyle Boyd (Catt’s ex) who is not a part of the conversation but very much laid the groundwork for the possibility of this admirable dynamic; which ultimately allowed everyone to move on in the name of love. As President of the digital talent agency Socialyte, make sure to follow along on all of Sarah’s professional and personal adventures HERE. She’s not only a great stepmother but also a baller executive, entrepreneur, writer, business advisor and more. You’ll fall in love with her refreshing real approach to life, just like we did. Please Understand the Assignment: Get Paid What You Deserve Mar 15, 2022
    Show notes

Ladies, March 15th is Equal Pay Day and we want you to know everything there is to know about getting every last penny you deserve. Today on It Sure is a Beautiful Day, Catt is in conversation with the Director of the Equal Pay Today Campaign, Shannon Williams, who is schooling us on why the gender wage gap exists, what we can do to shrink it, and how best to get involved in the effort to make a difference for yourself and all your female friends and loved ones.

What is the best way to negotiate? Why is transparency on behalf of our employers so vitally important? Why does the wage gap specifically hinder women of color? Where do men fit into the conversation? How does our country’s minimum wage compound the problem?

We get gobs of great advice from our expert but we also hear from Catt about her own experience with this issue. You may recall she made global news after leaving her job at E! over a pay disparity issue. What she has learned from it all, how she reflects on it today, and why it’s important for her to still make noise on the subject.

Also, you asked, Catt answers. It can be difficult to navigate workplace issues effectively. She addresses some of your questions that you submitted from social media. Thank you for engaging in these important conversations, guys!

CATT + CAIT: Cleaning Out the Cabinets and Turning Back Our Biological Clocks Feb 22, 2022
    Show notes

In this week’s pow wow the girls get under the covers at Catt’s house for a real heart to heart. Why is Cait feeling like change is in the air? She explains how a recent personal matter has her evaluating her boundaries.

Plus, why living in denial keeps us from healing and moving forward with our lives! If you hope for happier days, perhaps today’s shares from our two hosts will resonate with you and propel you towards facing some of your past trauma.
