    Show notes

When most investors think about diversifying their portfolio...

They often turn to stock market and real estate syndications.

One such asset class is oil & gas.

Today I interviewed Marshall Sykes, a retired Navy Captain, whose oil & gas investments are generating 15% returns in year one…

…by focusing on already-producing wells to minimize risk.

Marshall has been involved in more than 20 syndications across multiple asset classes.

In today's episode, he breaks down:

    • How to invest in oil and gas with existing wells and proven production

    • Why working with operators who have 20+ years of experience reduces risk

    • The three key factors every passive investor should consider (cash flow, appreciation, tax benefits)

    • What markets look promising for multifamily in 2025

    • How AI integration is creating new opportunities in tech investments

Plus, he explains why the Midwest could present better opportunities than overbuilt markets like Texas and Florida...
