4.24 - Origins: Val - Motherhood May 27, 2025

Show notes

Val eliminated the leader of the Wulfpack and quickly found the money and hard drive she had been sent to retrieve, but as she set about clearing the estate of all evidence of kindred presence, she heard a small voice belonging to a five-year-old boy named Will. With both of his parents deceased, Val decided she could not leave him to a fate of mind-wiping or worse, so they packed up some toys, set the house on fire, and drove away. What can Val possibly do next, now that she has a child in tow?

Featuring our Storyteller Ryan LaPlante (@theryanlaplante) alongside Tyler Hewitt (@Tyler_Hewitt), Del Borovic (@deltastic), and Pam Sparrow.

4.23 - Origins: Val - A Small Voice May 20, 2025

Show notes

Incredibly, Juniper Lux was very pleased with the performance Val had arranged, and Val was awarded the mission to hunt down the Wulf Pack. She made her way down the west coast to Bayfield, California, her targets’ last known location, and her investigation put her on the trail of two missing tour buses. When she arrived at the Hall Family Winery, she found the Gangrel and began to stalk them one by one. Can she find a way to eliminate a powerful Gangrel leader on his home turf?

Featuring our Storyteller Ryan LaPlante (@theryanlaplante) alongside Tyler Hewitt (@Tyler_Hewitt), Del Borovic (@deltastic), and Pam Sparrow.

Show notes

By the year 2000, five years had passed for Val with Brooke by her side. A Gangrel group has gone rogue, and Sheriff Cross summoned Val to the Blue Rose Hotel amidst an Elysium soirée, to convince two judges to award her the assignment of hunting them down. She easily swayed the first judge, but the second, Juniper Lux, demanded that Val first find a uniquely talented mortal willing to become a Toreador. Can Val arrange a performance with enough wow factor before the judges announce their decision?

Featuring our Storyteller Ryan LaPlante (@theryanlaplante) alongside Tyler Hewitt (@Tyler_Hewitt), Del Borovic (@deltastic), and Pam Sparrow.

4.20 - Origins: Val - Welcome to the Camarilla Apr 29, 2025

Show notes

Val awoke in the hospital, recovering from the ordeal with her former coterie. Sheriff Cross explained that Val would have to seek the approval of Princess Cleopatra and she must pretend that she had only recently been embraced, but Val was also warned by another kindred to not lie to the Princess. An uncomfortable meeting ensued, and Val simply stated how she could use her skills to serve the Camarilla. Only after Cross vouched for Val and accepted a punishment of his own, was Val allowed to live.

4.19 - Origins: Val - Don’t Lie Apr 22, 2025

Show notes

With their plan to kill the Anarchs in tatters, Val could not break free of Amy’s control, even as her former coterie stabbed Cross with silver daggers. Fortuitously, Cross had planned for the worst, and officers Marcus Safe and Elizabeth Maddox barged in with silver bullets and brought Amy down. Val and Vincent’s beasts faced off in a brutal brawl, but once again Cross came to the rescue. Before Val succumbed to her injuries, Cross fed her his own blood. But will Val survive the Camarilla’s justice?

4.16 - Origins: Val - Unhappy Birthday Apr 01, 2025

Show notes

Val was welcomed into her first coterie. Neither Camarilla nor Sabbat, Vincent and Amy showed Val a world with no rules, and the freedom to hurt humans with no regard to morals or consequences. As Val learned important skills, like using the blood within her to produce the blush of life or surging past normal physical limitations, her humanity consequently receded. How much longer will Val remain with this sadistic coterie, and what will become of her humanity along the way?

Featuring our Storyteller Ryan LaPlante (@theryanlaplante) alongside Tyler Hewitt (@Tyler_Hewitt) and Del Borovic (@deltastic).
