Episode #73: Distributed Consensus on Cannabis Genetics Aug 03, 2015
    Show notes

On today’s show I interview Kevin McKernan the Chief Scientist at Medicinal Genomics and Courtagen Lifesciences. Kevin talks to us about everything from the Human genome project gone bad to free market regulations and testing in the Cannabis field, families moving to Colorado to help their children get relief from epileptic seizures, the opiate crisis in America and how Bitcoin blockchain technology is helping us move toward personalized medicine and away from the dangers inherent in one size fits all herd medicine. Could this be a bright moment in pharmaceutical history? Show notes

Episode #72: Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It On today’s show I interview film producer Torsten Hoffman about the release of his new Bitcoin Documentary, Bitcoin: The End Of Money As We Know It which recently picked up two awards at the Freedom Fest in Las Vegas. In the words of Calvin Tran, this important documentary is: “Dynamic and filled to the brim with hard-hitting history. There’s electricity in the pace, a kineticism in the narration, a fervor in the subject matter and the high-stakes world of finance. It is a rapid film that catches you off guard, with a title as provocative as itself.” Join me listeners in talking with Mr. Hoffman about this great film. TRANSCRIPTION: Great news listeners! Episode #71 The Bitcoin Trader - Venzen speaks!! Jul 05, 2015
    Show notes

On today’s show I travel to the remote coastal village of Krabi in Thailand to speak with Bitcoin Trader Venzen Khaosan. Venzen is a market analyst and trader with over 6 years of experience in stocks, forex and commodities trading. After completing school, he studied anthropology at the University of Cape Town, South Africa and became interested in the pre-14th century Indian Ocean trade routes that connected Southern African Gold supply with South East Asian porcelain and bead industries. This led him on to research in how cultures perceive value and the nuances of market psychology. Ian is a political scientist from Yale whose primary studies include political theory and political psychology. Most recently, Ian has been researching the internal politics of the Bitcoin community. He will be self-publishing his research paper at the end of April. Beyond his studies in political science, Ian is a technology entrepreneur. His current business, Prepd, is building educational technology. Ian was recently offered deferred admissions to Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business; he plans to enroll in business school in a few years. Ian is originally from San Antonio, TX. Episode #64 Bitshares on the Open Road! Apr 19, 2015
    Show notes

This past week I had the privilege of sitting on my front porch and chatting with 3 great fellows from the Bitshares community, Brandon Lovejoy, Tim Fesenko and Rob Konsdorf. These guys are on a road trip, traveling around the region telling people about Bitshares. I learned more about Bitshares from these guys in 1 hour than I have in reading about Bitshares over the past year.
