Ana Quincoces (Real Housewives of Miami) - Reunion Dress Auction May 28, 2020

Show notes

Real Housewives of Miami’s Ana Quincoces decided to donate her Emerald Green Season 2 Reunion Dress to raise money in assistance for front line heath care workers fighting Covid-19. That one decision quickly led to Real Housewives of Miami cast members Joanna Krupa, Karent Sierra and Adriana de Moura jumping on board. Denise Richards soon followed. Daily Mail picked up the story and voila, calling all Housewives, a donate your reunion dress or suit (Andy Cohen, thank you) was started. Ana talks to The Rope about what the process of wrangling and coordinating all of the involved housewives has been like, who donated what, who said they were going to donate but the dress seems to never have arrived, and last but not least, who just didn’t return Ana’s call. Also, we find out what her current relationship is with the other RHOM ladies. Cue that theme song music and… go!

Vanderpump Rules’ newcomer, Brett Cap steps Behind the Rope. Welcome bro. Originally from NJ (go East Coast), Brett moved to LA because life is short and why not. Shortly thereafter, he met LVP, who was interested in personal training and Brett quickly found himself training our Queen. This training soon lead to a job at SUR which then led to a much coveted role on the juggernaut Vanderpump Rules. David & Brett deep dive into all things LVP from meeting Lisa for the first time, to Hanky & Panky to ending with a tour of the infamous Villa Rosa. Of course, David made sure to get the 411 on all of Brett's co stars - OGs and newbies alike - as well as his “special friendships” (Scheana? Dayna? - we are looking at you). Mary Amons - The Real Housewives of DC May 22, 2020

Take a break from the Real Housewives of DC Marathon (no really, its airing today on Bravo) to catch up with one of the five RHODC cast members, Mary Amons. Calling from her sprawling family farm in Southern Maryland, Mary takes time out of her busy quarantine to chat with The Rope about her time on the show. After discussing the current political atmosphere in DC, Mary explains that RHODC was originally supposed to be titled, “Inside Washington” and not part of the Housewives Franchise. Mary explains the difficulties in casting a show with wives in the political sector, the added layer of NDAs and confidential information and how the show ultimately morphed into a part of the Housewives franchise. Of course, the conversation turns to the infamous Salahi White House crash and the implications, not only for them, but the entire Real Housewives Of DC cast, franchise and Bravo as a network from this one event. Did you know RHODC production was shut down for several weeks while Congress and The White House launched a thorough investigation into this breach of US security. Luckily the show went on, bringing us 5 amazing women who have earned their place in Housewives history as one of the only Bravo shows ever involved in a nationwide political, for lack of a better word, scandal. Originally from from Clearwater, Florida, Marlo was taught at an early age how to survive, growing up throughout the state “in the system”. After falling in with a “rough crowd” at home, Marlo moved to Atlanta 12 years ago for a fresh start. Rebranding herself a stylist, thanks to her flair for fashion, Marlo opened a boutique in the ATL and quickly met some of our favorite peach holders. Shortly thereafter, she was brought onto RHOA by Phaedra (bring Phaedra back) and the rest is history. Marlo, open and honest, is willing to discuss it all. No, she still doesn’t wanna date broke and yes, she considers Nene a loyal friend. “Discuss it all", of course, includes Kenya - her marriage, bringing the Cookie Lady to come for Tanya, her “acting” career, and many of her other fine moments during this past season. Ali, being at the epicenter of the drama between long time 30 year friends MJ and Reza, is one of the linchpins of Shahs of Sunset Season 8. Luke Gulbranson (Summer House) May 11, 2020

Now that the Season Four Reunion is complete, Luke Gulbranson steps Behind The Rope to clarify all regarding his freshman year on Summer House. Far from the Hamptons and flannel clad, Luke is more than eager to take David on a tour of his currently being renovated lake house in Upstate Michigan. After discussing their mutual love of Prince (we wouldn’t expect anything less of a good Minnesotan), Luke's many talents and careers - hockey, modeling, acting, jewelry maker, business owner (whew!), David & Luke get right down to business. Having never summered in The Hamptons before, he said yes when buddy Kyle Cooke asked, “hey, wanna join a summer house”. The rest is history. First impressions of the Summer House Cast, the summer house parties, the enigma that is Jordan, all discussed. Luke’s first season summer wasn't without its share of drama - Carl asking Jules to leave the house, the ramifications that followed both on and off camera (as explained to Andy at the Reunion), Amanda and Paige’s opinions of him. Luke is ever so much the true gentlemen. It's all good man, he says. Then, of course, there is Hannah. Hannah, Hannah. Take a sip of that Loverboy and enjoy!!
