With the recent announcement of the new RHOA cast, it is confirmed again Marlo Hampton will be an official "friend of". Originally from from Clearwater, Florida, Marlo was taught at an early age how to survive, growing up throughout the state “in the system”. After falling in with a “rough crowd” at home, Marlo moved to Atlanta 12 years ago for a fresh start. Rebranding herself a stylist, thanks to her flair for fashion, Marlo opened a boutique in the ATL and quickly met some of our favorite peach holders. Shortly thereafter, she was brought onto RHOA by Phaedra (bring Phaedra back) and the rest is history. Marlo, open and honest, is willing to discuss it all. No, she still doesn’t wanna date broke and yes, she considers Nene a loyal friend. “Discuss it all", of course, includes Kenya - her marriage, bringing the Cookie Lady to come for Tanya, her “acting” career, and many of her other fine moments during this past season. Arguably, Marlo has done as much for this franchise as any of the full time regulars and is just getting started. Hey Bravo, give her a damn peach already! Hello!! #realhousewivesofatlanta

Keeping Up With The RHONY, The RHONJ and The Kardashians Jun 26, 2020

David welcomes back, yet again, fan fav, Emmy Award winning producer, Just Joan. David lets her have a few minutes of rapid RHONJ fire questions, as it is her favorite franchise. David talks about a past sleep over at Marge Senior’s house in good ole’ Englewood, NJ, the Mother Teresa Patron Saint of the world, Dolores Catania and attending a drag queen competition in Asbury Park with Margaret Jospehs. The conversation then takes a sharp left turn to all things K. K as in the Kardashians. All things Kardashian, of course, includes Lord Disick and Caitlyn Jenner as well as all of our favorite sisters and Momager Kris. With RHONY currently in season on the air, The Rope has to pay homage to The Singer Stinger. After all, it has been a whole few weeks since she was last discussed. Finally, Joan cannot help but let the producer in her out as she discusses all the ways she sees David as a future RHONJ or RHONY, you choose, himself. A truly laugh out loud episode (just what the world needs right now) not to be missed

David welcomes Glen North from the hit Bravo show Camp Getaway. The show may be over but the Summer is just started and Glen stops by for a fun show. A really fun show. Checking in from his home in Virginia, Glen recaps both his experience of spending a summer at Camp Getaway and his experience in filming a reality television show. A classically trained actor, Glen has had many side hustles in life - server, personal trainer, go go boy. Ohh tell us about being a go go boy. Glen does. Growing up a camp boy, attending a performing arts choir camp, Glen had camp in his blood from the early days. Flash forward to Camp Getaway, Glen heard about the Social Coordinator position from a friend. He applied, got the job, had a trial weekend and soon was behind the cameras filming this past season of Camp Getaway. His favorite Bravo shows? Family Karma and Below Deck. Captain Lee or Captain Sandy? His obsession with and love of Kate Chastain? Yup, we discuss it all. Finally, being Pride month and all, Glen discusses how important it is for him to be an active member of the LGBTQIA Community and plans he has with fellow Bravolebrities regarding Pride. Those are all true, but let's focus on the one moniker we most wanna discuss. Lala Kent's Man, Fiancé, Love. Randall Emmett as seen on Vanderpump Rules. Ok, ok we talk to Randall about his early days in LA trying to raise money for his first movie as a producer and what working as Mark’s assistant was really like. Randall also shares what it was like to attend the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, his thoughts on Gotti and just what it took to get that Bobby De Niro sandwich pic for Jax. Alright, now on to what really matters. Randall explains how, where, and when he met Lala. We talk early days Vanderpump Rules and Randall's initial reactions to Jax, Stassi, The Toms and the rest of the cast. Randall discusses how he ended up finally agreeing to film Vanderpump Rules, what led to that decision and who was involved in the decision, Lala, The Producers, Lisa Vanderpump. Jai Rodriguez from the original Queer Eye For The Straight Guy steps Behind The Rope. Bonding over quarantine life, Jai and David share how they have been getting though the past few months during their time at home. Of course, the conversation quickly turns to Bravo and what it was like, in 2003, to be the very first reality show to ever exist on this now very famous network. Jai discusses how he was cast on Bravo’s original reality show, why he almost wasn't cast, and what working with Andy Cohen was really like. Once the show aired, Jai explains how life quickly changed as a result of this ratings blockbuster and the opportunities, or lack thereof, that followed when the show had ended. Those opportunities, in part, included a series regular role on Malibu Country with legends Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin plus parts of epic television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Grace & Frankie and The Rookie, to name a few. Jai discusses the challenges of transitioning from reality TV to scripted roles and how he was able to make that transition successfully. Speaking of Queer Eye, no conversation of the ground breaking series would be complete without a nod to the current Netflix “reboot”. Harry Dubin - The Man, The Myth, The Legend (Bonus Episode) Jun 21, 2020

The Real Housewives of New York City may be on a temporary hiatus but, the man, the myth, the legend, Harry Dubin, steps Behind The Rope. Harry chats about, what else other than his real life, shall we say, “experiences” with the women behind #RHONY. Harry takes us back to his first, housewife that is, Miss Sonja Tremont. After a chance meeting at a bar in DC, with only a first name, Harry tracks down Sonja after hitting up no less than 10 hotels, for the beginning of a several decade on again, off again, “relationship”. Once on the New York scene, Harry set his sights in another direction, a leggy blonde he met on the Upper East Side, Aviva Drescher. When his marriage to Aviva ended, he spent his time passing the days with Sonja, who was now Sonja Morgan, soon to be of #RHONY. Through Sonja, he met Luann, who he said knew what she wanted, him, and got it. There was also Kelly Bensimon, yup her too and Ramona, who he describes as a great kisser. Dorinda thew a shoe at Harry at The Regency and then there is Tinsley, oh Tinsley. Of course, no Big Apple sit down would be complete without Bethenny, Jill & Heather. Finally, Harry is more than eager to play a NSFW version of who would you rather #RHONY edition.

Not so fast, before we get there, David chats with Audience Appreciation Listener Brian Carlos about the time they almost met at a Backstreet Boys concert or the time they actually did meet at a Countess Luann - where else? - Cabaret attended by Tre Giudice. Speaking of Tre Giudice, she had a "Celebrity Housewives" appearance in Atlantic City with Margaret Jospehs and Sonja Morgan. David was Margar et's plus one, along with Marge Sr. (they shared a room), there was a dinner after, a Paris Hilton sighting, and then yes, David and Sonja were the last two standing up til 4am drinking vodka (does this shock you?).
