Countess Luann de Lesseps’ “A Very Countess Christmas” - A Review, Guests Ramona Singer & Leah McSweeney, & Backstage In The Green Room! Dec 27, 2021

Show notes

After making two rare appearances on our Podcast this year (when is the last time you saw the Countess on a Pod), we had to pay it forward and would not have missed the return of the legend, Countess Lu, to her home at 54 Below in her brand new “A Very Countess Christmas” Cabaret. “Viva La Diva”, the Countess is back! We break down the entire show - the songs, the crowd, the celeb guest appearances, the attendance of Miss Ramona Singer & Miss Leah McSweeney, backstage in the “green room” with Leah and Lu, & the sequins. Lu was definitely “Feelin’ Jovani”, as she did what only the Countess can do. “Money Can’t Buy You Class”, but it can buy you a ticket to this show. If you did not get a chance to attend this sold out residence at Lu’s home away from home, 54 Below, “Chic C’est La Vie”, there is always next year!

Amanza Smith - (on Selling Sunset, Christine, Chrishell, Boss Jason & Office Politics)! - II Dec 24, 2021

Show notes

Selling Sunset Season 4! We have waited and waited. Finally. We sat down with Amanza Smith last season - before Chrishell and Jason became Chrishell and Jason, before Christine was a Mom, when we heard the name Justin Hartley on the reg. Take a fun trip down memory lane. As you listen, you decide - wow, how quickly everything at The Oppenheim Group has changed, or, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Amanza Smith, from Selling Sunset. Steps Behind The Rope. First off, let us just address the infamous Z. Yes, Amanza was born Amanza with a Z Smith. Originally from Indiana, Amanza knew that small town life ultimately wasn’t for her. She moved to LA at a young age and, what else, became a model. Amanza discusses what the modeling industry was like back in the day. We also discuss her “career” as a suitcase girl on Deal or No Deal. She missed Meghan Markle by one season! Early on in her LA life, Amanza met Mary and Jason, introduced them, they dated, and the three have remained good friends ever since. Amanza and Mary even have matching tattoos - fun fact. Of course, we discuss Amanza’s design background and her job staging properties for The Oppenheim Group. Amanza added to that love of design, got her Real Estate License and ultimately started working as an agent at the Oppenheim Group, as seen on Season 2 of Selling Sunset. Welcome Amanza to Netflix and the wonderful world of Selling Sunset. Amanza entertains our endless questions about her other cast mates Heather, Davina, Maya, Christine, and Chrishell. Speaking of Chrishell, we also discuss soon to be ex-husband This is Us’ Justin Hartley and why we never see him on Selling Sunset. Amanza fills us in on all from Season Two of the hit Neflix show! Tune in now for Part I of this sit down with Amanza Smith!

Real Housewives Of Miami's Karent Sierra (on RHOM past, present, future!) Dec 20, 2021

Show notes

The Real Housewives of Miami’s Karent Sierra steps Behind The Rope. Karent, dentist extraordinaire, fills us in on what she has been up to since we last saw her our our TV screens. Besides running her dental practice, Karent has been helping those less fortunate than herself around the world through her Sharing Smiles Foundation. Ok, on to what everyone wants to talk about, The Real Housewives of Miami. Karent discusses what it was like to watch her friends on the show during its freshman season before she herself was cast for the stellar Season Two. She also explains her reservations on joining the show and why she ultimately decided to become a full time cast member. She explains how she was almost a full time host on “The Doctors”, the Power of Bravo and how her DM’s fill up every time Bravo airs an RHOM Marathon. Imagine what they are now that RHIOM is back in out lives on a regular basis on Peacock. Of course we discuss Karent’s colleagues Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, Lisa Hochstein, Anna Quincoces and last, but certainly not least, Joanna Krupa. We discuss the good, the bad, the other and where her relationship with each stands today. We address the fact that these very same colleagues accused her of smiling too much during her season. Umm, did we miss the memo? Is that a bad thing? Speaking of her cast members, Karent gives us her opinions on who changed the most since the show, who was thrilled to have the ever presence of cameras in their life, who was the most “different” on air when the cameras were rolling versus what they were like in real life, and who was the meanest of the “mean girls”. Karent lets us know what she learned about herself and life from filming RHOM and what she would do different, if anything, if given the chance to do it all over again. Speaking of “all over again” we discuss the Reboot with Karent - at the time of this recording not yet a definite - and why this fan favorite franchise was gone way too soon.
