#187 - Dr. Giggles (1992) Nov 29, 2024

Show notes

It's a box many remember seeing on Blockbuster shelves back in the 90s, but only the brave actually took Dr. Giggles home and watched it. What they got was an insane movie about a doctor-pun spewing escaped mental patient who collects hearts to perform his own unecessary surgies. What's not to love? Ridiculous moments, horrible acting, fantastic puns, and a Larry Drake performance for the ages!

#186 - National Treasure (2004) Nov 22, 2024

Show notes

A movie that is beloved by a generation somehow sits with critic scores low enough to put it on our radar. You may be shocked that we are covering National Treasure on our show, but think of this as the silver-lining of critics not being smart enough to recognize a crowd-pleaser when they see one. While it may be universally beloved, that doesn't meant that it has stood the test of time. So it's time to see if National Treasure and Nic Cage are still deserving of being considered national treasures.

#185 - The 6th Day (2000) Nov 15, 2024

Show notes

If there was a world where human cloning was real, are we going to pretend like Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't one of the first people that we would clone? In The 6th Day we get two Arnolds for the price of one and I couldn't be more excited to talk about this one. It may have flopped at the box office, and started to spell the end for Arnold's dominance at the movie chains, but there is still a lot of fun to be had with this one. Michael Rooker, Robert Duvall round out a great cast and it even has the bad guy from Ghost. What more could you want?

#184 - Kill and Kill Again (1981) Nov 08, 2024

Show notes

Are we assembling again? You bet we are! It's time to join Gorilla, Hot Dog, Gypsy, The Fly and Steve as they head out to find Kandy Kane's father being held by an evil cult let by a guy with a glued-on Lincoln beard. Insane you say? Well isn't that half the fun with these early 80s martial arts flicks? We'll walk you through each scene of this incredibly realistic adventure. Just as long as you're ready to leave reality behind.

#183 - Twilight (2008) Nov 01, 2024

Show notes

The movie that divided many couples over the last 16 years. This movie has been roasted to a crisp before, but we've been waiting for our chance to take a crack at Twilight just to see what all the fuss is about. Is it truly the abomination that some have made it out to be? Well, only if you don't like 30 second stare downs between sentences, glittery vampires and the worst baseball scene in movie history. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took us on a ride, but did we end up anywhere that was worth going?

#182 - I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) Oct 25, 2024

Show notes

The summer of 97 was filled with fisherman chasing hot chicks with hooks so this was more of a documentary. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar tried to help their hot idiot boyfriends get away from the killer that they thought was dead! Do you love this movie, or has it aged as well as your pictures from the 90s?

#181 - Child's Play 2 (1990) Oct 18, 2024

Show notes

A tiny doll continues his reign of terror against unsuspecting people that are five times his size. It's honestly impressive how Chucky (Brad Dourif) is able to have success as a pint-sized murderer! This sequel sees him once again chasing down Andy and trying to get out of the doll body that has become his prison. Will he be successful, and is the journey worth of being called a bad movie that rules?
