The guys discussed a very complex system that Thor has to blend new school and old school to narrow his focus on the card and find a lot of edges in the marketplace.
Thor is well-versed in the personnel of college football, so the guys discussed how that is an attribute before applying these concepts to Florida vs. Miami and Arizona vs. Hawaii. It is Dress Rehearsal Week, which means everybody will put on their best and simulate the regular season, right? Well, not so fast, my friend. Brad and Adam talked about the changing psychology and what it means for bettors this week and beyond. The guys dug deep into the Tour Championship, the final event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, Week 3 of the NFL Preseason, and Wes’s college football preparations.
The Tour Championship features a really unique format in that Justin Thomas has a two-shot lead over Patrick Cantlay before play even begins and larger leads over the other 28 players. Wes shared his thoughts on outrights and matchups. The guys looked at Dress Rehearsal Week in the NFL Preseason and attempted to make sense of another move on the Colts. Finally, college football season is coming and Wes discussed his process for getting ready.

UFC Predictions with Pina – UFC 241 Cormier vs. Miocic 2 Aug 16, 2019

This was one of the longest editions of our UFC Predictions with Pina segments, but it makes sense because there was a ton to talk about on this fight card for UFC 241. Stipe Miocic and champion Daniel Cormier will headline the UFC Anaheim card and Adam and Christian spent a ton of time breaking down the second fight between these two. They also talked at length about Nate Diaz vs. Anthony Pettis and surveyed the other main card fights.
There are some betting opportunities on the prelim card as well, as Christian gave his thoughts on some round props and some fighters that he likes. This was a comprehensive breakdown of UFC, with talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the fighters and with some strategy regarding round props and ways to cut down the juice on a big favorite.
