Season 2 - Episode 7 - Finding Gratitude in the Midst of Music Aug 30, 2021
    Show notes

Hannah Schaefer is a compelling Contemporary Christian Music artist. She is a passionate speaker & a multi-international award-winning singer/songwriter who has opened for Christian artists such as Matt Maher, Matthew West, Fr. Rob Galea, Mac Powell, Building 429, and more touring internationally and playing over 500 shows across the United States. She has also accumulated over half a million streams as an independent artist and just continues to pick up steam and I believe it is because you can hear her heart and experience her deep faith in every beautiful song. Our discussion is down to earth and honest as she delves into childhood bullying, family Challenges amid difficult diagnosis, and moments of deep personal struggle, but through it all Hannah was always writing lyrics to the One who was her constant, to a God so personal and real that as a child she wrote sticky notes to Jesus and let them go into the wind trusting they would find Him. You won’t want to miss this powerful conversation filled with hope amidst the desperation and challenges of life. You will be inspired!

Meet Tania. Statistics show us that one in every four women suffers alone in the chaos of domestic violence. Tania found her way out of that dark place and into a healthy life for herself and her children. She is currently married and a mother of 5. Tania serves on 2 boards, as a co-chair for the Violence Injury Trauma Action Team, and as a member of the Coordinating Council Board for Family Domestic Violence. She is currently running for the title of Mrs. Southern Maryland International 2022 (the inspiration behind that was her desire to use the platform as a way to speak on the topics She is most passionate about: mental health and domestic violence). This opportunity will allow her to give voice to serve her community and the world. You will be inspired!!

Having been a model, TV show creator, cast member, film director, and producer, Danielle knows the industry from both sides of the lens. She and her husband (singer-songwriter) Chico Johnson formed CheekyMac Productions together. Recently they produced the series, “Beyond the fire” which is a documentary series following the stories of Australia's unsung heroes as they band together to create life from ashes after the Australian black summer bush fire Crisis. She created and co-stars in the TV series, “Behind the Sash” which she describes as: “Take the raw doco style of Ross Kemp, the charitable heart of Undercover Boss, the glamour of Australia’s Next Top Model – throw it in a pot and you have BEHIND THE SASH!”. In each episode, they travel to one unique location, shine a light on one issue of injustice and discover one extraordinary woman taking a stand. Danielle and I have an amazing down-to-earth conversation where she is able to share her struggles, triumphs, hopes, and passions. Meet Christie Browning. She is an award-winning author, a TEDx speaker, an inspiring coach, a motivational speaker, and a podcast host. If you’re reading this, this brave and vulnerable interview is meant for you!! When Christie found her life spiraling away from her lovely Christian upbringing it took her by surprise and when she one day found herself in jail it was beyond anything she could have ever imagined. But Christie made a decision in that place, she decided to be grateful, she wanted to leave there different than when she came. She began the practice of finding good things in a place that isn’t known for goodness, better yet she became expectant based on her faith in God for new good things to come each and every day. I know I sometimes am challenged to do that, but Christie through daily journaling and Intentional heart work left jail as a new woman. Her heart is to reach and encourage other people who have slidden into a place that they too never could have envisioned. If nothing else, Christy will inspire you!!! She uses her pit as her platform and is empowering and encouraging people everywhere every day by sharing her experiences, her faith, and her freedom

Season 2 - Episode 1 - Finding Gratitude in the Ripples of Revival Jul 19, 2021
    Show notes

This week I speak with Nalini. She shares her story because she believes everyone is born with dreams for the future then reality strikes its hurdles and before you know it, the dream is a distant childhood fantasy, not suitable for adults. You have to go on a journey of self-discovery that leads to molding and shaping like you never expected to then come out years later still holding on to the very same dream, only this time, you’re ready for it. But this will only happen if you don’t allow the hurdles to sabotage the dream. She stands alongside the dreamers, the visionaries, the ones who cling on to a hope that this season will pass, and if I simply endure, stand firm, I will see my dream come to fruition. Nalini was the holder of dormant dreams and as a result, lived with a silent ache for way too long. What She didn’t realize was, that by shoving her dreams and desires into the back of the wardrobe, by writing herself off, disqualifying, and self-sabotaging herself, She was quietly dying on the inside. Sound familiar? She was becoming a lesser version of herself and in doing so, was unable to give the best to her loved ones. The ripple effect is far-reaching and doesn’t stop with you. We have way too much to give to allow lies and hurdles to rob us of who we really are! You don’t want to miss this story of self-reflection, perseverance, and hope!
