E151 The Power of Perception Sep 19, 2018
    Show notes

Young minds are easier to mold, influence, and even break than that of an adult. On one hand they are sponges that can soak up information and emotions and learn how the world works. On the other they are fragile and can have their heart and mindset shattered at any given moment. They also perceive life on a grander level, making uncomfortable situations that much more comfortable, even traumatic. Questions, comments, requests? Where were you on September 11, 2001? I was in Social Studies class my senior year in high school. At that point in time, I don’t believe I fully understood the magnitude of the event. As we look around today, it’s hard to not see various aspects of our life that have been impacted by this tragedy. However, I believe we have a tendency to become complacent over the years.

    Show notes

Every once in a while the process breaks. The process broke this week. While trying to record two interviews for the podcast, we had a massive failure. When going to check for the files, we found that neither of the interviews recorded. At the end of the day, there was no one to blame but myself. Today I take a deep dive into the importance of extreme ownership in the face of a mistake.

E148 Book Review - The 3 Minute Mindset by Trevor Buccieri Sep 16, 2018
    Show notes

If you're looking for a quick 3-minute action guide start your day off on the right foot, Trevor's book is great. It's full of actionable items and wisdom for anyone looking to improve their mindset and get shit done! But a word of warning, it takes more than just three minutes a day to be successful, to become great, to achieve your goals. Knowledge isn't really power, and what he teaches in his book doesn't work unless you apply it to every area of your life.
