    Your One And Only Source

Your One and Only Source is the unapologetically chaotic Gossip Girl podcast that does more than just rewatch. Every Thursday, sisters Caroline and Phoebe break down a new Gossip Girl episode, stretching every scene and every scheme with sharp commentary, unfiltered banter, and the kind of world-building that even Gossip Girl herself would admire. Your One and Only Source dissects, debates, and occasionally derails into Connell family lore – after all, we're sisters, it's what we do!

And because the Upper East Side deserves nothing less than full context, twice a month on Tuesdays we're taking a deep-dive into the pop culture universe surrounding each episode. We’re talking the original Gossip Girl music playlists, iconic 2000s fashion moments, behind-the-scenes tea, and the cultural chaos that defined the era. And of course, keeping up with the cast and their lives post-Gossip Girl.

If we sound familiar, it’s because we are. We’re the sisters behind The Pretty Little Podcast, the internet’s favorite Pretty Little Liars recap show – yes, that one. Now, we're trading "A" for "Gossip Girl," swapping the Rosewood Liars for Manhattan's elite, and realizing that maybe Serena van der Woodsen and Aria Montgomery have more in common than we thought.

Whether you’re here for the Gossip Girl recaps, the 2000s nostalgia, the unhinged sister dynamic, or all of the above… you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. You know you love us. And we LYLAS.

xoxo, Your One and Only Source.

    Latest Episodes:
Gossip Girl: You've Got Yale! Oct 08, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Yale Day has arrived, and apparently getting into an Ivy League school is the least interesting thing happening at Constance. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe get into “You’ve Got Yale!”, where Blair is one B away from losing her mind, Serena gives up Yale without even telling anyone she wanted it, and Dan starts getting a little too interested in his sister’s new Shakespeare teacher. Sound familiar? We’re drawing some very uncomfortable parallels between Dan and Rachel Carr and the original Ezria, because apparently “inappropriate teacher-student relationship” is a genre this universe really loves.

And then there’s Serena, who immediately clicks with Rachel while simultaneously deciding that the noble thing to do is quietly sacrifice her own Yale dreams for Blair. Which naturally sends us into a Tell Me Lies spiral, because Serena and Lucy Albright clearly share a love of turning perfectly avoidable situations into opportunities to martyr themselves. Neither one can just make a decision without deciding they need to suffer for it first. Meanwhile, Blair gets her first B, launches a full-scale revenge campaign against Rachel, and discovers that humiliating your teacher can, unfortunately, have consequences. Who knew?

Plus, Chuck reluctantly teams up with Lily to take down Jack, Rufus and Lily make their very public couple debut at the opera, and Dan and Serena start wondering what happens when their parents’ relationship gets serious. Yale, betrayal, teacher crushes and some truly unnecessary self-sacrifice. Just another completely normal day on the Upper East Side. XOXO.

Gossip Girl: Gone With The Will Sep 24, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Bart Bass may be dead, but apparently he still has plenty of ways to ruin Chuck’s life. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe are at the reading of the will, where Chuck inherits Bass Industries, Jack Bass starts plotting almost immediately, Blair gets played into throwing a party for Chuck, and Dan’s secret becomes the Upper East Side’s latest piece of gossip.

Chuck finally gets the thing Bart spent his whole life dangling in front of him, only to decide he doesn’t want it. Blair, naturally, refuses to let him throw away his inheritance and tries to convince him that Bart really did believe in him. Too bad Jack has already figured out exactly how to get Chuck off track, and by the time Blair’s surprise brunch rolls around, Chuck is doing drugs with prostitutes while the Bass Industries board watches in horror. And somehow, this is still not the most scandalous thing happening that day.

Because while Chuck is busy destroying his father’s legacy, Dan is desperately trying to keep Rufus and Lily’s secret from Serena. Unfortunately for him, Nelly Yuki and the Headbands are on the case, and once the truth about their love child hits Gossip Girl, there’s no taking it back. Add Rufus and Lily getting back into bed together, a suspicious story about their son’s death, and Blair finally realizing that Jack has been playing everyone, and this will reading turns into one very expensive disaster.

Bart left Chuck a company, a fortune, and one final test. Unfortunately, Chuck may have failed all three. XOXO.

Traitors Tuesday: The Castle is Open and The Turret is Scheming Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

Welcome to Traitors Tuesdays, your one and only source for everything happening inside the castle, and after two episodes of The Traitors: New Blood, we already have opinions.

Caroline and Phoebe break down what happens when you take away the celebrities and drop a bunch of actual civilians into a castle with $15,000 on the line for catching a Traitor. We’re talking game mechanics, round-table strategy, murder targets, the Dolls alliance, and why this season already feels like a very different beast from the celebrity versions.

Then there's Kriste, whose misheard comment somehow became the moment of the premiere. Was she lying? No. Was she spectacularly wrong? Absolutely. Caroline and Phoebe debate whether the backlash against her is deserved, why her mistake made phenomenal television, and how one misunderstood sentence can completely derail a game.

Meanwhile, Clyde is quietly playing a game that may be much more strategic than it looks, Tomica and Joe are already giving potential Traitor energy, Victor learns that grabbing a shield can come with consequences, and Logan's ability to quietly observe everyone has us wondering if he's about to become the castle's biggest problem.

Plus: the NBC/Peacock rollout confusion, the spelling-and-contractions debate nobody saw coming, a suspicious Channing Tatum burner account, and our first round of who we're rooting for, who we're watching, and who absolutely cannot be trusted.

The castle is open. The Traitors are lying. And Caroline and Phoebe have already started keeping score.

    XOXO.

Gossip Girl: In The Realm of The Basses Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Chuck Bass is back from Thailand, and somehow he’s even more of a disaster than when he left. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe are getting into “In the Realm of the Basses,” where Blair decides she’s ready to graduate from high school politics and join the Colony Club, Jenny realizes she has enough dirt to take down the entire Mean Girl industrial complex, and Chuck calls in Uncle Jack to help him get his life, and Victrola, back.

Blair is trying very hard to move on from Chuck, which would be easier if Chuck weren’t back at Victrola, smoking hash at school, throwing parties, and generally making sure everyone knows he is absolutely not okay. Blair tries to save him, because of course she does, while Jack swoops in with his own very Bass-y idea of helping. Meanwhile, Jenny finally gets her hands on the secrets of Penelope, Hazel, and Isabel and realizes that maybe the fastest way to survive Constance is to become the person everyone is scared to piss off.

And then Dan starts pulling at the Rufus and Lily thread, which is about to unravel into a secret big enough to blow up both families. Plus, Blair’s Colony Club ambitions, Chuck’s rooftop breakdown, and Jack Bass being Jack Bass. Basically, everyone is lying, scheming, spiraling, or all three. Just another day on the Upper East Side. XOXO.

Gossip Girl: O Brother, Where Bart Thou? 🐭 Sep 11, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Bart Bass is dead, and somehow the Upper East Side has still found time for secrets, romance, and a little emotional blackmail. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe dive into “O Brother, Where Bart Thou?”, where Chuck is spiraling after losing his father, Blair finally says the three words she’s been trying to avoid, and Lily’s past with Rufus threatens to blow up everything all over again.

The girls unpack Chuck’s grief, Blair’s heartbreaking attempt to stand by him, and the moment she finally admits just how much she loves him. Meanwhile, Serena is heading to Buenos Aires with Aaron, Dan is realizing that waiting around for Serena might not be an option anymore, and Lily is carrying a secret that could completely change the van der Woodsen family. Plus, Jenny is once again proving that she can somehow be the most functional person in the room while everyone else is falling apart.

And because no episode of Your One and Only Source is complete without a little personal chaos, Phoebe reveals that she currently has a mouse situation of her own, while Caroline, naturally, has mouse advice ready to go. Apparently, even after years of covering Upper East Side scandals, these two are now qualified to handle rodent relations.

From grief and forbidden love to family secrets and one very dramatic goodbye, this is Gossip Girl at its most emotional. Because when everything falls apart, the Upper East Side doesn't exactly heal quietly. XOXO.

Your One and Only Source: The Traitors Sneak Peek Has Us Talking Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

A little Your One and Only Source pop-in, because apparently seven minutes of The Traitors was enough to get Caroline and Phoebe talking.

In this minisode, we give our immediate thoughts on the newly released Traitors sneak peek, size up the cast, speculate on who's already giving faithful versus traitor, and discuss why we're analyzing a seven-minute clip like it's evidence in a federal investigation.

And while we're here, we're catching up on the latest reality TV chaos—from Love Island reunion drama to influencer fatigue, reality star image management, and the eternal question of whether these people are actually playing the game or just playing to the audience.

Plus, a little theater talk, some thoughts on resilience and owning your choices, and plenty of the unsolicited analysis you've come to expect from Caroline and Phoebe.

It's not a full episode. It's just enough gossip to hold you over.

Because sometimes seven minutes is all the excuse we need.

    XOXO.

    Gossip Girl: It's A Wonderful Lie Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Caroline & Phoebe back on The Upper East Side to unpack season 2 episode 10 of Gossip GIrl: "It's A Wonderful Lie" and it looks like someone brought a little more than holiday cheer to the Snowflake Ball. Blair and Chuck are back to their favorite game, making each other jealous, while Jenny decides that if she can't have Nate, she can at least make sure Vanessa has to work for it. And Serena? Let's just say Aaron's past has a way of showing up at exactly the wrong time.

Caroline and Phoebe unpack Blair and Chuck's latest round of romantic warfare, from carefully chosen dates to the kind of jealousy neither of them will admit to feeling. Meanwhile, Jenny's heartbreak sends her straight into revenge mode, Nate and Vanessa's secret finally blows up, and Serena gets caught in the middle when Aaron's ex enters the picture. Plus, Lily and Rufus prove that some old feelings have a way of resurfacing when you're least prepared for them.

Between disastrous dates, messy hookups, revenge dresses, and enough romantic sabotage to ruin any holiday party, this is Gossip Girl doing what she does best. Because on the Upper East Side, all it takes is one ball, a few bad decisions, and a little jealousy to turn Christmas cheer into Christmas chaos. XOXO.

Gossip Girl: The Magnificent Archibalds Aug 18, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Another infamous Thanksgiving on the Upper East Side, where family, forgiveness, and a suspicious lack of champagne are all on the menu. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe dive into The Magnificent Archibalds, where Blair is fighting for her perfect Thanksgiving, Jenny is threatening to emancipate herself, and Nate is finally forced to decide what kind of man he wants to be.

The girls unpack Nate's latest family crisis as Howard returns with a plan that could land the Archibalds in even deeper trouble, while Chuck and Vanessa unexpectedly team up to help Nate save his family. Meanwhile, Jenny's feud with Rufus reaches a breaking point, Blair discovers that sometimes family traditions have to change, and Serena finally decides to come clean to Aaron about her past. Plus, Eric discovers that Bart has been keeping dossiers (big word for elmo) on everyone, because apparently having a private investigator follow your family is just another Upper East Side love language.

From Thanksgiving betrayals and secret files to family reunions, stolen letters, and one secret limo ride, this episode proves that on the Upper East Side, nothing says "family" quite like a little blackmail, a lot of secrets, and someone else's business being investigated. Pass the pie. XOXO.

Summer Fridays: The Traitors, Big Brother & The Internet's Latest Obsessions Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Spotted: Caroline has officially entered her Clyde on The Traitors era. On this episode of *our One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe dive into the casting news she’s been waiting for, why Alan Cumming’s Instagram follow made it feel officially official, and whether Clyde has what it takes to survive the turret, the traitors, and the internet.

From there, the girls get into the latest Big Brother drama, breaking down shifting alliances, questionable strategies, the wall challenge, and the houseguests who are proving much harder to read than expected. They also unpack the increasingly blurry line between reality TV stars, influencers, and actual celebrities, because apparently having a blue check is no longer enough.

The conversation takes a more serious turn as Caroline shares her thoughts on the ongoing trial she’s been following, including some of the testimony and legal questions that have stood out to her. It’s a classic episode of Your One and Only Source: reality TV obsession, very strong opinions, and a reminder that the group chat can go absolutely anywhere. XOXO.

    Show notes

On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe dive into “Bonfire of the Vanity,” where Blair meets her mother’s new boyfriend Cyrus and immediately decides he must go, Jenny takes her fashion dreams to the next level, and Serena’s new romance with Aaron starts getting complicated.

The girls unpack Blair’s latest campaign of sabotage as she tries to break up Eleanor and Cyrus, Dan gets dangerously close to the Bass family while digging for a story, and Chuck starts wondering what exactly Humphrey is up to. From birthday parties and family drama to fashion schemes, questionable motives, and one very memorable bonfire, this episode is all about what happens when ambition, love, and a little too much free time collide.
