Accessing Your Akashic Records with Lisa Barnett May 27, 2019
    Show notes

She is also the Founder of the Akashic Knowing School of Wisdom where she has taught thousands of students worldwide to access personal Soul wisdom and guidance to transform your life, working directly with your Akashic Record Keepers. You are in for such a treat with this very cool conversation about all things Akashic records.

With more than twenty years of experience in spiritual healing, Lisa teaches these simple tools which empower individuals to find greater fulfillment, happiness, abundance, and health. Lisa helps you align with your soul path, understand your soul contracts, and complete your karma and vows. Lisa is also a teacher on the esteemed spiritual platform, The Shift Network. If you are interested to learn more, have your Akashic records read or anything to do with this conversation, the best place to find Lisa is at www.akashicknowing.com.

Sign up to take Lisa's course on Accessing the Akashic Records on the Shift Network. Other teachers on the Shift Network are Dr. Joe Dispenza, Michael Beckwith, Louise Hay, and Carolyn Myss.

Here are some of the takeaways to consider from Lisa's experience:

    1. All of our souls have a sacred contract of sorts; we journey in each lifetime to learn, grow and advance as a soul.
    2. There are record keepers who are light beings, not of the human realm, who can share with you your past lives and most importantly, your contract for this life. All karma is already healed, it's more about learning about your own karma, a deeper awareness and waking up of who you really are (unconditional love), and understanding how you can heal it from within.
    3. Karma is never a punishment and is there for your soul's learning.
    4. Each person has 3 angels guiding them at all times.
    5. Anyone can access their Akashic records - Lisa's book and courses can teach you how to in her 5-step prayer wisdom system. (I have used it and it's amazing)

Let's Talk About Worthiness with Rachelle Niemann May 22, 2019
    Show notes

Rachelle Niemann is an author, dog mom, yogi, ultra-marathoner, writer, wife, and founder of nourishingworthiness.com, and is always searching for growth and adventure. She is the author of Breaking Free From The Hustle of Worthiness, which can be found on Amazon.

She has been a student of personal growth for decades and has finally learned what it takes to transform her life into a fulfilling and connected life and she wants to share what she has learned. She is on a mission to inspire individuals to make the transformation from fear to self-love and wonders what can be possible if we focused on mental wellness over mental illness.

Things We Learned from Rachelle Niemann

    1. It's crucial to learn to embrace discomfort, especially uncomfortable feelings.
    2. When you are feeling anxious, upset, overwhelmed or doubtful, ask yourself first where you are experiencing the feeling in your body. Tune into your body wisdom.
    3. Learn to release that tension in your body through deep breathing. In fact, just taking 6 deep breaths can change how you feel.
    4. Worthiness MUST come from within first. No one can give it to you. Ways to build worthiness is to celebrate any small win, shift or change and learn to tune into the inner critic voice that says you're not good enough.
    5. Start small and know that any small change, no matter how tiny it is, is worthy of being honored and seen as a victory. All journeys of change begin with that first shift.

She also grew a start-up medical device company specializing in arterial and vascular diagnostic solutions into a 14-million-dollar company within two years. Marie has over 15 years' experience in the medical industry where she closely works with top neurologists and medical researchers on the brain's ability to rebuild neuropathways, which until recently was thought to be impossible. Uncovering Your Self-Sabotaging Blocks with Dr. Sidney Cohen May 13, 2019
    Show notes

Dr. Sidney Cohen has been a full-time private practicing psychologist for over 33 years. He has a high-volume practice, specializing in the treatment of a wide variety of psychological disorders. He also holds an adjunct consulting appointment at a local teaching hospital in New Jersey.

Dr. Cohen has also authored two self-help books (one on self-sabotage and the other on psychological blocks to losing weight), hosts an Internet TV program called "Heading In The Right Direction," is a guest on several local regular TV and radio talk shows, and does extensive public speaking.

Both books, Your Self-Sabotaging Inner Bully: Standing Up To It Once and For All! and Inner Blocks To Losing Weight: Why You Lose The Battle More Than The Weight, can be found on Amazon and Kindle.

    Self-Sabotage Takeaways:

    1. Our subconscious is comprised of 2 forces: a positive force (making good decisions, growth) and a negative force (i.e. our inner bully).
    2. Our 'Inner Bully' shows up in our thoughts (ex, excessive self-criticism) or our actions (ex, in a relationship, excessive temper, etc).
    3. The most important action to take is standing up to our Inner Bulley. A way to do this is through 'Self-Credit Time': right before you go to bed reflect on the positive aspects of your effort for that day, your self-control, goals accomplished and any act of kindness or courage.
    4. Dr. Cohen defines courage as "Anything you're reluctant to do but you do anyway because it's in your best interest". It takes immense courage to stand up to your Inner Bully, but always worth the effort.

Psychological Blocks to Weight Loss Takeaways:

    1. Two of the psychological blocks that can sabotage your desire to get healthy and lose weight are: addiction to self-rebellion and anxiety.
    2. Addiction to self-rebellion (opposite of courage), is doing the opposite of what's in your best interest (for ex, eating more than you should, eating things you shouldn't and not exercising)
    3. Anxiety plagues many and in this case, refers to fears that can keep you playing small or sabotaging yourself.
    4. A remedy to healing anxiety is through building self-esteem that revolves around liking who you are on the inside. Ways to do this is to make lists of what you value about yourself. Building this kind of self-esteem from the inside out and doing the inner work will build the foundation to carry you through limiting thoughts and beliefs.

    3. After asking yourself this 1 question, take these 3 steps:
      1. Figure out the activity to do that would make the biggest impact
      2. Time block an appointment with yourself to do this work (get the when and where)
      3. Protect your calendar (say no to the world, don't let the outside world dictate your focus)

The Incredible Power of Human Design with Richard Beaumont May 06, 2019
    Show notes

Richard is the National Director of Human Design UK and Human Design Films Ltd. He has been deeply involved with Human Design for two decades and much of his training was directly with the founder of the Human Design System, Ra Uru Hu. Richard was always a seeker and involved with the 'The Human Potential Movement'.

He was a regular participant in numerous 'self-development' courses and groups. Richard enjoyed many of the group dynamics of self-exploration and spent some time in India. His experience in both Eastern and Western self-exploration techniques of Meditation, Tai Chi, Aikido, Gestalt, Encounter and many other modalities prepared the ground for him to create one the UK's most influential Mind, Body, Spirit magazines Kindred Spirit in 1987. He interviewed the leading pioneers of consciousness of that time: Caroline Myss, Eckhart Tolle, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, David Hawkins, Robert Monroe, and many others.

Richard was the editor-in-chief of the magazine for almost 20 years until he sold it just before the economic downturn in 2008. If you want to know, get your downloadable report at humandesign.info and you can also book a personalized session with Richard.

This was an incredibly in-depth conversation about Human Design and how you can use it to live your most meaningful and in alignment life. There was a lot discussed in this interview. Sharing the highlight reel, but I certainly encourage you to check out Richard's website, do your Human Design report and connect with him. He's masterful at deciphering your individuated design.

Things We Learned from Richard Beaumont

    1. Human Design was a revelation of sorts given to Ra Uru Hu over the course of 8 days/nights. This information can be correlated directly to the Chinese I Ching, Kabbalah (Zohar), Chakra Energy Systems, Astrology, and Mathematics. Everyone has a unique design and when living in concert with your natural patterns, you will experience more freedom, joy, energy, and peace.
    2. There are 9 centers in Human Design: the head center (inspiration), the conceptual center (we all think differently), the throat (what we might manifest and speak of), our identity (love, direction in life), sacral energy (power and life force), root center (adrenals, and pressure of 'having to do something'), spleen (intuition and ancient wisdom), solar plexus (emotional center and ability for emotions to move through you) and the ego/will/heart center (your energy and life force).
    3. There are 36 channels that connect our centers and 64 gates.
    4. There are 4 types of auras/energy presentation: Manifestors, Generators, Projectors, and Reflectors. Richard shared that Oprah for example, is a Generator, Tom Cruise is a Manifestor and Sandra Bullock is a Reflector. You can also be a Manifestor Generator (interestingly both Richard and I are this combo).
    5. Human Design is a way to access your potential, cognition, life patterns and purpose

If you stay tuned for the whole discussion, you'll hear our talking about the Human Design predictions through Ra Uru Hu about the future. For some, this might be way out there. Please take what you like and leave the rest. In the evolution of unleashing your you-est you, my hope is to expose you to many different aspects of what it means to be a human at this time, how to live into your highest potential and varying thoughts and ideas about what's to come.

As always, we loooove your feedback and would love to know what you thought about this interview. Richard has graciously offered to do a Part II about our future based on the predictions from the information revealed to Ra Uru Hu and Human Design.

    Show notes

Join us for a conversation about how to find true inner peace and self-love from within. Nick Jankel is an award-winning thought leader, author, and professional speaker. Nick is the founder and CEO of Switch On Now and author of the book 'Spiritual Athiest' on Amazon and at Barnes & Nobles. Nick has advised organizations like No.10 Downing Street, Kellogg's, HSBC, Microsoft, and WWF. He hosted a network TV show on BBC and has been on the BBC World Service, CBS, and Hay House Radio. He has appeared in The Economist, The Guardian, and The Financial Times; and has taught at SciencesPo, Oxford University, and Yale University. He received a Triple First from Cambridge University in Medicine and the History and Philosophy of Science.

Nick shares that 15 years ago he had everything that you'd think would bring happiness; a successful multi-million dollar business, apartments he enjoyed, a girlfriend and a thriving career. The problem was Nick felt empty, miserable and unhappy inside. He began a journey of inner discovery, healing and excavating of his highest potential, what we call his 'you-est you'.

Things You'll Learn From This Episode

    1. The Greek definition of crisis is turning point. See whatever crisis you are dealing with as a turning point in your life to give you a deeper sense of who you are.
    2. Whatever you are looking for; peace, purpose, passion, self-love, already exists. It doesn't need to be developed, it just needs to be uncovered.
    3. Find a daily practice that resonates, remembering a practice is about practicing and not getting it perfect.
    4. Purpose is not defined as a number or goal. It is about showing up in a way that the divine within you can allow you to become your whole self.
    5. Whole means holy and to heal. We are all designed to be whole.

Tune in to hear Nick's wisdom and learning along the way. There are lots of profound nuggets in this episode to ponder.
