YES, WOMAN (formerly PurposeGirl): Real conversations for women ready for MORE – More aliveness, more purpose, more pleasure, more power to create the life you want.

YES, WOMAN is the home for women to be outrageously happy. Where we stop pretending we’re fine and start telling the truth about what we desire – and what we deserve.

For the woman who “has it all” on paper, but knows there’s more – more joy, more pleasure, more aliveness… for the woman who has lived and loved and lost… for the midlife woman who is done pretending to be “fine” so that you can fly FREE… you’re in the right place.

Here we are bold, raw and real about everything WOMAN – s*x, motherhood, menopause, money, grief, success, love, power, pleasure, and becoming.

After more than 700,000 downloads of Season 1, “The PurposeGirl Podcast”, and a season of profound personal loss and growth, Carin Rockind returns with deeper truth and sharper clarity. She has a master’s degree in the science of happiness and a devotion to the divine feminine, bridging the gap between positive psychology and the soul of a woman — science and spirit — resilience and radiance.

She’ll be your best friend, your confidant, your coach. This isn’t just about “finding” your purpose anymore. It’s about saying yes to your whole life.

Through unfiltered conversations, powerful interviews, and practical tools rooted in both research and lived experience, YES, WOMAN invites you to stop shrinking, stop waiting, and start living as the WOMAN you were born to be.

    Welcome Sister.

    Show notes

I am honored to have reached this amazing milestone of 200 weekly episodes, and I want to thank you, my listeners, for making this podcast so successful in countries all over the world. Through listener feedback, I decided to commemorate this special episode by having my soul sister, Stacey Hoffer, turn the tables and interview me! I had no idea what she was going to ask and where this conversation was headed, but rest assured that we went deep into my mission, my journey, my desires for my listeners and for women everywhere, and so much more. There's no one I'd rather have interviewing me, and I know you're going to love this conversation! Along the way I talk about:

    • How I manage to keep showing up.
    • How pleasure helps me with my purpose and my passion.
    • How the podcast gives space for many sides of me to come out.
    • How the podcast provides a safe space to talk about challenging and difficult topics that need to be talked about.
    • How I hold space for clients to get out their darker feelings in a healthy way.

And then Stacey puts me through the Purpose Power Play Round, the thing I always end my interviews with!

199 The #1 Thing in the Way of Your Happiness Apr 11, 2022
    Show notes

Women come to me for a number of reasons – sometimes they feel like they're in a rut, that they're just going through the motions and they know there's more to life. Sometimes they're searching for something more meaningful and fulfilling to do and they need help uncovering their purpose. And for so many women who come to me, they're craving more joy in their lives, more happiness.

In today's episode I'm talking all about the number one thing that is getting in the way of women's happiness, in the way of us living our purpose, and it's probably not what you think. Along the way I talk about:

    • Figuring out what will truly make us happy
    • Saying yes to ourselves, and getting clear on our Yes and our No
    • The interconnectedness of joy and purpose
    • The harm that comes from squashing your own desires
    • Specific steps you can take to help uncover your purpose and go and take action towards it (Vision, Our Superpowers, Joy, and more!)

And the doors are now open for my flagship course, Goddess on Purpose, which I offer live only once a year! To learn more about Goddess on Purpose, and to join, please go to:

194 An Extraordinary and Impactful Life with Marjorie Margolies Feb 20, 2022
    Show notes

My guest today has a lot to say about a lot of things, and that makes sense, because she has such a rich, diverse set of experiences behind her. Member of the US Congress. Emmy-award winning journalist. Founder and head of an international nonprofit empowering women leaders around the world. The list goes on. And as it turns out, when our interview ran into a roadblock for technical reason, she came over to our house and sat in my dining room for the interview, since she lives in my neighborhood! I am thrilled and honored to bring you a wide-ranging conversation with the Honorable Marjorie Margolies. In today's episode Marjorie talks about:

    • Being the first single American to adopt a child from another country
    • Being elected to the US House of Representatives
    • Creating a family in a non-traditional way
    • How politics has changed since she was in office
    • Teaching a class at U Penn with the grandson of President Eisenhower
    • Creating and running Women's Campaign International

    About Marjorie:

Marjorie Margolies is the author of five books, an Emmy-award winning best-selling journalist, congresswoman, and the first single American to adopt internationally. After 25 years with NBC, Margolies ran for U.S. Congress in 1991 as a Democrat in a historically Republican district of suburban Philadelphia and became the first woman elected in her own right in the state of Pennsylvania. Margolies also devoted her life to supporting women and girls. She founded and runs Women's Campaign International, a nonprofit working to empower women leaders around the world to mobilize their communities and engage politically.

Besides breaking down historic boundaries, Margolies also had to deal with heartbreaking tragedies including divorce and the death of a child. Her intention is for women of every generation to recognize themselves in her story and learn how to nurture themselves and the life decisions they have made.

Margolies is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and the grandmother of 21. She shares three grandchildren with Hillary Clinton.

193 How to Accomplish Your Big Audacious Goal Feb 11, 2022
    Show notes

What is that big, juicy, audacious dream that you've always had, that maybe you've been afraid to pursue or you've beaten yourself up for abandoning? Maybe you think it's impossible to achieve? Last year I accomplished that kind of goal for myself, one that I had thought impossible: I threw the world's largest event for International Women's Day, with 12 hours of keynote speakers, panels, movement and exercise classes, and more. Over 25 speakers, 2500+ women from around the world registered for this, and it was totally free! In today's episode I'm going to lay out for you how I did it so you can go after your own dreams with renewed energy and determination. The steps that I talk about are:

    • Visualization (and I take you guided visualization exercises to facilitate this)
    • Planning through reverse engineering
    • Celebrating the heck out of every step I accomplished
    • The power of checklists
    • Switch from "I can't" to "How can I?"
    • Tell people about your dream
    • Choose

    Show notes

When I created The Women's Day Event for International Women's Day in March 2021, I knew I wanted to give back, I knew I wanted to raise money for a community organization that supports girls leadership, and I was thrilled to find The Power of Girlhood, a leadership development organization serving adolescent girls in metro Detroit. And then I met its founder and was just blown away by this amazing human, Ber-Henda Williams. In today's episode, I am joined by Ber-Henda, and she talks about

    • Her inspiration in creating The Power of Girlhood
    • Some of the ways in which The Power of Girlhood impacts girls, and the amazing girls she works with
    • The importance of giving back to the next generation
    • Being a multipotentialite
    • Co-creating in the feminine, as opposed to going it alone
    • Teaching women to listen to their intuition
    • Writing poetry for the United Way and Toyota
    • And so much more!
