YES, WOMAN (formerly PurposeGirl): Real conversations for women ready for MORE – More aliveness, more purpose, more pleasure, more power to create the life you want.

YES, WOMAN is the home for women to be outrageously happy. Where we stop pretending we’re fine and start telling the truth about what we desire – and what we deserve.

For the woman who “has it all” on paper, but knows there’s more – more joy, more pleasure, more aliveness… for the woman who has lived and loved and lost… for the midlife woman who is done pretending to be “fine” so that you can fly FREE… you’re in the right place.

Here we are bold, raw and real about everything WOMAN – s*x, motherhood, menopause, money, grief, success, love, power, pleasure, and becoming.

After more than 700,000 downloads of Season 1, “The PurposeGirl Podcast”, and a season of profound personal loss and growth, Carin Rockind returns with deeper truth and sharper clarity. She has a master’s degree in the science of happiness and a devotion to the divine feminine, bridging the gap between positive psychology and the soul of a woman — science and spirit — resilience and radiance.

She’ll be your best friend, your confidant, your coach. This isn’t just about “finding” your purpose anymore. It’s about saying yes to your whole life.

Through unfiltered conversations, powerful interviews, and practical tools rooted in both research and lived experience, YES, WOMAN invites you to stop shrinking, stop waiting, and start living as the WOMAN you were born to be.

    Welcome Sister.

209 Sisterhood is the Medicine the World Needs with Kelly Mahalak Jul 28, 2022
    Show notes

If you're like me, like so many of my clients, like so many women today, then sometimes, maybe even often, you feel isolated or lonely. Women were meant to go through life in community with other women, but there's been a shift in recent decades towards hyperindividualism, as if going it alone means you're better, more powerful, more capable. But what it's really done is lead to greater levels of depression. In today's powerful episode, Kelly Mahalak joins me to discuss:

    • Some of the reasons why women feel more isolated today than ever before
    • How Kelly and I processed together the turmoil around the overturning of Roe v. Wade
    • What it looks like when women support each other
    • What a different world it would be if more societies were led by the matriarchy instead of the patriarchy
    • How women can effect important change at the micro level, exactly where they are
    • The Women's Happiness Day Conference at the Versace Mansion in Miami Beach in October – Join us!

    208 A Very Personal Update Jul 22, 2022
    Show notes

These last few months have been full of turmoil, both politically here in the US and personally, in my own life. Last year held some of the highest highs for me. This year… some of the lowest lows. And so, in today's episode, I'm giving you a very personal update on what's been going on in my life, including:

    • My father's Alzheimer's
    • The pushback and grief I've received from some of my own family members as I've shown up as my full self
    • The major transformations that I've been undergoing this past year in my business, but more importantly, in what I'm here on Earth to DO
    • The support that I've received from my own coach and from sisterhood
    • A revelation that I had about my own "naked" truth
    • My self-marriage ceremony in which I married my dark side
    • The value of sacred, righteous anger

207 Sex Education with Liz Kessler Jun 23, 2022
    Show notes

The state of sex education in our country is abysmal! In many places the only thing taught is abstinence, and in a majority of states, sex ed doesn't even need to be medically accurate! How ridiculous is that?!? Better sex ed has a huge range of benefits, from a reduction in unwanted pregnancies to lower rates of STI's to improved quality of health overall. In today's oh-so-juicy episode, sexuality health educator Liz Kessler joins us to discuss:

    • Pleasure as an indication of flourishing
    • Female genital erasure
    • Pornography
    • The importance of teaching and using proper terms for our body parts
    • Creating a self-pleasure practice
    • The anatomy of the clitoris
    • What most women need (and don't need!) to orgasm
    • The importance of a healthy pelvic floor
    • Female genital erasure

206 Healing Our Sisterhood Wounds Jun 09, 2022
    Show notes

Ever compare yourself to other women? Feel less than or like you don't measure up? Oh sister, you know how strongly I feel that women coming together are magical! When we get together in sisterhood, it's a profound experience! And yet, so many of us have been hurt by women, and we carry deep sisterhood wounds. Well, I grew up believing that I needed to be perfect to be loved, and a lot of this had stemmed from my experiences with other girls when I was little. I was basing my sense of self-worth on the approval of others, and this has caused me so much grief over the years. These beliefs, "I'm only lovable if…" or "I'm only worthy if…", are so harmful and yet so common among women. For me, it's an ongoing effort of using my tools to keep these harmful beliefs at bay, and fortunately I have a toolkit of strategies that I use for this. In today's episode I'm talking about

    • The childhood origins of some of my own sh*t – a story about cheerleading you need to hear
    • The ups and downs of social media – how it impacts our worth
    • My struggles in high school with shame and feeling like a loser
    • The origins of our women wounds and how to move through them
    • Why I create safe, sacred sisterhoods
    • The surprising core nature of women in times of stress
    • Specific steps for healing sisterhood wounds: 4 Purpose Power Tools to change your life with worth, women, and friendships

Best friends are wonderful. But even more important than having a best friend is being your own best friend. 203 The Anxiety Episode May 19, 2022
    Show notes

We've been dealing with a pandemic for several years now (we recently passed 1 million COVID-related deaths here in the US alone) and we've been feeling the impacts of the health and safety risks as well as the isolation. Add to that the continuing incidents of gun violence, race-based attacks, attacks on women's rights, and so much more, and we have a lot of very real reasons to feel anxiety. So, the question becomes: What do we do about it?

I have years of expertise in women's happiness and an Ivy League degree in Positive Psychology (the scientific study of human flourishing). And I also struggle with anxiety. I always have. If you're looking for that one thing you can do to alleviate your anxiety, you're going to be disappointed, because there isn't one thing that works for everyone. We're just too complex for that. However, I have a toolkit of strategies that I use to manage my own anxiety on a regular basis, and in today's episode I'm going to share my tools with you:

    • I get support.
    • I surround myself with sisterhood.
    • I allow myself to feel and express my emotions instead of suppressing them.
    • I reframe how I think about my own anxiety.
    • I practice acceptance.
    • I ground in and meditate.
    • I move my body.
    • I use my journal (you'll have to listen to find out how).
    • One of my favortie ways to reframe: "What else is true?"
    • Self-touch
    • Taking a bath

I also get very personal in talking about how my own anxiety manifests itself, and what it feels like.

And as of May 19, 2022, the doors are now open for my life-changing retreat, Goddess Getaway: Italy! To learn more and sign up before all the spots are gone, go to:
