9-Greater Wichita YMCA May 27, 2021

Show notes

If you are only going to listen to one episode of our podcast, we would highly recommend it be this one. The Greater Wichita YMCA does more for this community than the average person would typically expect. From giving teenagers a place to hang on Saturday nights to teaching 2nd graders how to swim for free to preparing high school kids for job opportunities - the YMCA does it all to help our growing community. The Greater Wichita YMCA is a leader in the YMCA community around all of America and has been a pillar in our community for years. They are so much more than a gym and swim facility, they are doing all they can to give back to this community. And it takes a Village (People) to bring all of these great things to Wichita.
Please check out this episode and donate time or money if you are able. Stop in to your local branch or text "YGIVE11" to 71777.
A special thank you to Stephanie Brewer for sharing all the great things the Greater Wichita YMCA does.

5-Wichita Massacre Apr 29, 2021

Show notes

Listener Discretion Slightly Advised.
The Wichita Massacre was one of the most tragic events to ever happen to the city of Wichita. Many people have heard about the incident, but Evan walks us through a detailed factual analysis of what took place 20 years ago. Our goal in today's episode is to give a history lesson on what took place and not get into the nitty gritty details, politics, or emotions surrounding these horrendous events. We want to shed light on the violence that takes place in Wichita and ask all our listeners to share this message with others - love your neighbors as yourselves.
