#115 - Dr. Ryan Lowery | The future of keto is multilingual Aug 28, 2019
    Show notes

In today’s episode of What the Fat I discuss the future of not only the ketogenic diet but of global education. If you’ve ever traveled to a different country, you probably understand the significance of language barriers. I recently traveled to the Dominican Republic and was unable to soak in so much of the valuable knowledge because I do not speak Spanish. In a world with an ever-expanding knowledge of health, how can we reach more people, in more countries?

    Enjoy the show!

    Takeaways:

Most people think that the ketogenic diet has hit its peak but I don’t think that’s true. There are so many people out there in other countries who speak other languages who haven’t had access to the same knowledge as we have. We have to work together to make health education widely available to everyone.

    #113 - Dr. Ryan Lowery |I Made a $5,000 Bet with my Brother Jul 31, 2019
    Show notes

In this episode of What the Fat, I talk about how I made a $5,000 dollar bet with my brother in the hopes that I lose. On my recent trip to California I spent time with my brother and during that time I made him a offer he couldn’t refuse. Even though I monetarily bet against myself, my brothers triumph is actually my biggest gain!

    Takeaways

I learn that sometimes you have to go to great lengths and make big offers to get someone to start seeing the value of their own health. Sometimes it just takes a little more motivation to get people on the right track.
