Signing Day, Kevin's Viral Tweet, and Eggnog | WUW 481 Dec 21, 2023

Show notes

WARNING: The first 10 minutes of this episode are strictly about the mobile game Clash of Clans and how nerdy Kevin and Kluver are.. then they talk about their all time most gluttonous moment until about the 23 minute mark. After that some actual football talk happens starting with Kevin taking to twitter and weighing in on Dylan Raiola's commitment to the Cornhuskers. We discuss the walk ons joining the program and their social media graphic that we could of only dreamt of back in 2013. That sparks a conversation about how different college football is today from a decade ago and we talk crazy NIL opportunities that are literally setting kids up for life financially. We talk about the weird black market of college ALL 22 film and how its impossible to get your hands on. Then we finish on Christmas, why you should drink eggnog, and other great traditions.

Indy Recap - PROUD | WUW 477 Dec 05, 2023

Show notes

The boys sit down to recap the Big Ten Championship over the weekend. We start with some discussion over G-Bone's Indy experience, the Game Day vibe, the festivities at Tin Roof, and G meeting another Gary. We dive head first into the football game where everything the Hawks needed to have happen, didn't. In fact most of the 'luck' plays fell Michigan's way including some calls that don't make any sense. We talk about just how close this game could have been, and liken it to the 2016 game against Michigan in where a few things falling the other way tightens everything up and all of the sudden its a ball game. We talk about replay, we read a heartwarming DM to the walkons, as well as one from a college aged girl that listens to our show and wanted some football answers. We discuss why you can be proud of this entire team, and more. We briefly talk some playoff and bowl game banter, Gary's Top 25, and try to answer every other relevant question about this game along the way.
