During this period, power shifted from the northern region to Nubia, but not before a few competing rulers would try to seize the whole land. The Assyrians were the rising power in the northeast, and Egypt’s clashes with the Assyrians were recorded not only in Egypt, but also in the books of 2nd Kings and Isaiah, as well as Greek records. Listen to learn how all of this unfolded. After listening, let me know what you think.
